You're welcome, Jo! I really appreciate it. Mom was a like a Mom to Ken when he was a baby and a toddler. I am so thankful that it is important to you. I hope to continue posting.
Little Robert's wisteria vision.......too funny!! Loved Ken's 'ground crew' as he worked on the roof. Moral supporters. Wonderful screened in porch that showed your dad relaxing. Your mom looked so sweet with Ken. Pretty lady. Thanks Walter.
Ahh, The Plains connection! The grasp of time always announces itself with the emotions held in memories especially when caputred by a photograph. I wasn't there but I always feel it, includng humor...Robert and the wisteria. 😂 Impossible to think about one without the other. ❣️
Hello Walter, a trip down your memory lane is a journey I also like taking! You should have heard me laughing at the caption on the picture of "little Robert" hiding his face🤣!! Thank you for sharing your talent and family with us.
Most of the people in these photos have memories of the old farm house and must be happy that Robert is fixing it and bringing it back to life So much work but worth it Robert is a good man
that was so neat ! now I know how the family goes, your mom is uncle Kens sister, then Robert one of parents is related either sister / brother. the spider web starts to grow! thank you for your great history of your family caught in all the images.
Thanks for sharing past days gone by . 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 memories that will always live on. I can relate to those days when life was so much simpler and positive. Sometimes didn't have a care in the world.
I love the memories you put together to share. Can i ask, how old is Uncle Ken? Has he slowed down because he sure does not seem like it..always busy doing somthing :) When I hear "Georgia" I cant help but think of all you guys and smile. Take care and stay dry.
@@WalterMallardPhotography I just turned 70 but the great thing about it is a friend told me I sure dont act like it lol..body may be old but the soul is still young.

That was The Good Life Times we all can't forget
Yes, Ellen! It was a good life on those weekends. Brian and I frequently talk about those days.
Most of the people in these photos have memories of the old farm house and must be happy that Robert is fixing it and bringing it back to life
So much work but worth it
Robert is a good man
And for those of us who've been following for many years, it's nostalgic to recognize images of the old place before Robert acquired it.
They do! Yes. It is an enormous amount of work still to be done. Yes he is!
@@alanatolstad4824 Yes, I think that is interesting as well.

Uncle Ken without a hat!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Was that someone on the roof of the old Byrd Farm house ?
It was. Ken was repairing the roof of the room that is gone.
Well…as thin as Uncle Ken has always been you have to wonder if he eats…proof here, he does…😂😅😂
Ha! Ha! Ha! Yep.
