SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF A BAD ECM (ENGINE CONTROL MODULE) | HOW TO TELL IF ECM IS BAD

To start, the Engine Control Module (ECM) works as the main controller of the car and is responsible for managing various functions to keep everything running smoothly. It collects data from sensors placed around the car, like measuring engine temperature and fuel levels. The ECM also decides ignition timing, fuel-air ratios, and emission control. If it detects any problems, it triggers the check engine light to alert the driver.

My ecm once turned on them I reset it and went away the. The maf sensor came on then went away then but the cat bank 1 sensor came on

That's interesting. Sounds like possibly MAF sensor and Oxygen sensor related.
