Well is the answer of 8 years in making 360 photography :) and having a not so big pole.. just 3 meters high! :)

Ben asked for the stitching to be done before his video.. and I was still traveling back home to Colombia! So I took my hours at Haneda and LAX Airport to start stitching. After I arrived home I wanted to add some fun at the Nadir, because I always delete myself, so I put myself in and added my famous Canon 7D camera to the shot so that it could be an awesome 360 photo hahah.
You're absolutely right Daniel. DSLR 360 takes a lot (read: usually years) of experience, and that will make a huge difference to the normal point-and-shoot cameras! 🤩 /Peter

Just had a very good look at Peter's website WOW! Awesome Imaging and retouching / grading. Love the torpedo experience. He is a real Pro on all levels. the 5ds and 8-15mm with a r10 is an awesome combo nearly 200mp. Ben you need to hang out with this dude a lot more ! He has an awesome view of the world and it is easy to see that has forgotten a lot more than most photographers will ever know!
Like a couple of school boys on a trip to a chocolate factory! Love the childlike giddy-ness and enthusiasm!

I really should start to go out of my one-man-youtuber bubble and get to some conferences. 🤓
Here we spent a day and night! It was extremely fun! Lots of adrenaline! You should definitely go to IVRPA conferences they are the best of all. I was mostly inspired by the first one I want back in 2012 in NYC.

PTgui and a lot of manual masking adjustments indeed. I usually take a lot photos in the same direction which gives me extra pixels to play with. 360˚ photos in crowded areas are most of the time not perfect, but it takes a trained eye to see chopped of heads, double headed dragons, or 3-legged aliens 🤩 /Peter

@@BenClaremont I am using your suggested equipment with misphere, manfrotto mini monopod extreme and mini tripod manfrotto, but I find this solution very unstable especially outside windy days. Any suggestions? Thx

Why not use Pocket Wizards? No interference issues 99% of the time.
Peter is a pro and has been doing this for a while- at first it failed but he was up and running again in no time. Wasn’t a big issue really 👍

Do you mean combine 360 and non 360 into the same video? It’s not possible yet.. you have to choose one or the other
No, I mean exact same footage with moving tiny planet, changing angle and so on. As in this video.
By the way combine 360° and 2D is possible.. So so) Embedding 2d footage into 360 sequence is ok, you can do six flat screens in fact and put slideshows or some background footage on 5 of them and yourself on the 6th)

Ben Claremont for shure he is. I use ptqui pro also .3 people i can handel but this ammont.. ...nooo. I left the ricoh theta and i only shoot hires 360 with the nikon full frame and a nikor modificated fisheye lens and the nodal ninja 6 . Love your work man you are an inspiration. A few weeks ago I purchased 360 cam but I didn't expect how creative can we be with this weapon (360 cameras) and now I little bit regret that I didn't buy it earlier. I think it's not all, I think it's beginning to me, but you push it to the limits of my imagination but not yours 😀

Hey there, Im having a problem with adding my stitched videos (shoot with gear360) to adobe premiere. It says file does not contain video. I think its about the format. What should I do ?
Stitch your footage in the app first..
I already stitched them in the gear 360 action director. But still I have this import error and I cant fix it. Do you have any more reccomendations? Thank you for your time
You should stitch it with mobile app is much better than Action Director. Is it Gear360 2016 or 2017?
