Brother suppose you are not an famous Celebrity photographer than which cameraa body you would prefer for yourself in August 2020 ,,,, d850 ,d780 , z6 ,z7 ,sony , Canon , fuji ........
Plz give an authentic answer considering yourself as an non celibrity UA-camr and Photographer ( because you won't need to buy these camera they make available pre production models for trials for you and other celebrity photographers)
There is an OVERLOAD of technical stuff on UA-cam for shoots like this... however there is very little to cater for people who are technically competent ... and THIS is the type of video we want to watch... Thanks for breaking the mold and posting useful stuff Taylor ! ! ! :)
Actual Counterfactual totally agree, most people watching this know how to use a camera, its the process i want to learn
Hah appreciate it! Happy to help. YT prioritizes gear videos about 3x anything like this sadly. So I think people that spend the time creating them get discouraged pretty quickly, and just resort to lens reviews and tests for views
💯
Being someone who’s very shy I’ve been doing a lot of family photos here recently and watching you and manny have helped me tremendously especially being as shy as I am because I absolutely don’t like telling people to pose to this is going to come in handy and I just wanna say thank you 🙏🏽
I came, I saw, I liked! I do a lot of weddings over in the UK (apart from this year....) but a few days ago i went to shoot some portraiture for a young lady and she brought her boyfriend along as moral support. They got engaged last year, I offered to get some shots of them both together and even a LinkedIn photo for the guy. They now want to discuss weddings.... Candid, natural shoots are so more my thing similar to yourself. It's inspirational to see somebody as successful as you are doing the same shooting techniques as i feel comfortable with
I don't know if I've commented on your videos before, but as an introvert who got into photography last year, I want to say I really really love your content. Your videos are inspirational and motivating for me, and I appreciate you taking the time to make them. If it weren't for you, this stuff wouldn't exist. You're a legend.
I’m definitely pumped for Tuesday.
Just did my first engagement shoot today would’ve been great to have this video but I think I did pretty decent - I’ll be sure to post it into the facebook group in a couple days!
P.S. Really looking forward to the elopements course!
Amazing!!!
Great advice, good work!
Your story telling is great! And your photography!
The shutter sound really got me. Aaaaahh. Nice!
Thanks for the advise bro. Very informative 😎💯📸
Thanks for this video.
Amazing videos
One lens, one camera, one photographer.
Love you brotha!
Very interesting technique from this video I learn, let me check myself if I can imitate little bit or so.....
Simple Smart nice 😎
I am new subscriber in this channel but I enjoy your work, the way you analyze everything about wedding photography and your photos are absolutely stunning!!! I have a question... you are using wide aperture 1.4 isn't it dangerous that maybe the couple in a shot will not be in focus (for example the camera focus in the girl which is near to photographer as they walk) I also enjoy aperture 1.4 and the blurriness but I am afraid of this scenario that man will be a little bit blur also .. When I will return home and see the photos on the screen. Should we use higher aperture?
THANK YOU VERU MUCH!
Hey Taylor,
Thanks for the great content. I’d have a question on the minimum shutter speed in lower light situations, especially when the subject is moving towards you eg down the isle or across the bridge as in this video. I saw that in this video you picked 1/500. Is this the lowest you’d go?
The reason I’m asking is. If I in the above conditions use my d750 at 1/250 with 24-70 2.8 at 70mm 2.8 the subject moving towards me is not tack sharp. By this I mean the eye could be sharper and eg the pores in the skin are not visible in a full body shot. At 1/400 the detail is improved.
When shooting with lower shutter speeds do you also make this compromise in sharpness?
Looking forward to your reply!
Definitely interested in signing up to be a member!
Nice the 58 is back!! Thought you got rid of it! Haven’t seen it in a video in a while
Got another one haha. Now that the Z5 stabilizes it, I figured it would be a nice to have. (Also for anyone looking, the used market on them is very inexpensive vs purchasing a new one)
Taylor Jackson I got one in a cart now online debating hitting the place order button for a few days lol prices are really good on them now
hello, what do you think of D780 with respect to D850, Z6; sony a7 III in term of liveview, eye detection,... ? I have a Nikon d750 and several 24, 35, 85mm sigma art and wonder which camera to buy for these features.
Are u using af-c and just holding the back button in while walking? Also are u on auto iso in manual mode or do u ajust accordingly
Have your yearly subscription, it's honestly priceless you always have great content. Thanks for helping with the business side of this all too.
I saw that you used pixieset at one point and I'm thinking about switching to squarespace myself, but what do you use for client gallery and delivery?
Thanks April! I do use Squarespace for my main site as well. Galleries I’m slowly moving over to PicTime this year I think. Pixieset is still great, but Pictime has some email automations that I really like.
No clear filter on front? Does it affect resolution or color to use one in your opinion?
Am the first to view from 🇹🇿
still the best TJ
As an introvert myself, I appreciate your videos. Straight forward, no fluff. Now, switch to Canon! Lol
How much shorts did this 780 camera give after full charge .
odd question what camera are you filming the video on?
Taylor, his videos are very good, he asks: do you only shoot in manual or from time to time use priority modes here in Brazil? Many photographers are reluctant to use the resource that can really be viable in some cases, thanks brother and I think your work is incredible , hug
I’m usually manual because I find it easier now, and it speeds up post production a lot
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Yes, of course, I also use manual but in quick rehearsals it speeds me up a lot and people are more comfortable, thanks Taylor and shows more how you work for us, hug
Nice 2020 TRD Pro.
How do you direct the couples that aren't affectionate normally? I have had some couples cringe at being "lovey" or even holding hands? Any tips for those folks?
That’s hard for sure. I personally would resort to posing them like a band. It’s just a huge bummer if one of them are really into it, and the other super doesn’t want to be there.
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto band poses, I like it! Haha. I'm sure having them do something such as go on a date would be good non-poses as well. Such as, eating grilled cheese. :)
How do you get clients as a new photographer when the market around you is saturated. Like in my local area group anytime someone is looking for photos with in 5 minutes there are over 120 people on the post 😐
It's hard to go from pose to pose quickly. I can't think of new poses that quick. HELP
Hi😍😍😍😍
I noticed that leaving shoes or legs out of the frame is happening to many of your photos. Is this something intentional - can you explain this pattern? As far as I know it should not be a practice - yet your photos look very good. I am not sure it they would be better if there was a margin. This could be one of those modern things like introducing errors in order to make the image more interesting like in music for instance.
I use single point AF and move it manually, the D780 is pretty slow to respond to get the comp exactly as I'd want it. If the people in the photo look good, I usually feel like it's an image worth keeping even if the composition isn't 100% what I'd want
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto This is exactly my style of shooting - often with the same results. This produces really natural feeling to the image and I actually appreciate it as an affect. This is why I wanted to know if you are not doing it fully intentionally as it looks nice and adds interest. Thanks for the answer - it is actually very valuable for me.
Now that things are opening up again, do you miss the G Wagon?
Not really. We’re doing a series with toyota this year that is going to be a lot of fun :)
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto that's awesome. I can't wait to see the series!
Can you give me a camera plz❤
Where the G Wagon at?
