THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!
Thank you for sharing this. Such an amazing shoot and helpful video. Perfect timing for me so I can come up with ideas and places for a shoot.
Let me know if you like this style! I may have more coming. ☺️
Love this style video. I learn so much from watching professionals at work! Thanks again for all you do for the community. 😀
@@lindaallen594 great! I’m working on more for you ☺️
Very useful, as the subjects aren’t models, so hearing the posing prompts was so beneficial..
Lovely, beautiful and soft. Please do so, it was very educational. Some pointers on the use of flash, light and which settings used on the camera would be appreciated :))
I never made comments in ANY UA-cam video but this episode is SO incredibly done I could not opt out any more. A million thanks VJ.
Beautiful video and breath taking photoshoot
Thx ☺️
This was incredibly helpful! I got my first engagement shoot in November and I’m super nervous. But this gave me some amazing pointers in how to talk to my clients, how to utilize my surroundings etc. thanks so much!
Thank you Vanessa for your inspiring youtube clips. I learn a lot from you.
As I am folowing a masterclass wedding photography, I make use of your tips to get the best results in what the teacher asks from us.
Very helpful and instructive, thank so much for sharing VJ. I really love your work, It's amazing.
Thanks so much for this! You're a true pro!
This could not have been posted at a better time. Learned so much
So happy to hear that! Lol and I love your name
Such a beautiful session!! The couple seemed super chill and down to earth (the best kind!!) I LOVED this so much! If you can do more like this that would be amazing!!
They are!! I have the best couples ☺️ working on more like this for you!
I love the way u handle the couple so soft & perfectly...
Aw thx ☺️
That was fantastic to see the interaction and I can definitely take things away from this. Thank you VJ!
Thanks so much ☺️
I love this video, so much learnings. Thanks Vanessa! You are awesome!
Thx for watching!
Great video, thanks. How did they get so much exposure on face with the sun behind ?
Natural reflectors, exposing for the skin and hand held reflectors :)
@@VanessaJoy perfect thank you 🙏 happy weekend 😊
Is this location where one or both of them went to school? Beautiful architecture. You got some really great shots.
I don’t think they went to school here. It’s a popular photo spot in NJ
I loved this! You are so good!
Thx so much!
Awesome. How long did you guys shoot? How many images did you give them?
An hour and you saw all of the images at the end... 100ish?
Awesome tutorial! Doing my first wedding next week. Very useful to see your process! Are you primarily in Manual or a priority mode throughout? Cheers, VJ!
Which go pro and strap are you using to hold the go pro ?
I love it and the location is beautiful 😍
Thx ☺️
WHICH CAMERA U USING FOR THE VIDEO AND HOW DIDYOU POSITION IT
This shooting location looks amazing! I'd love to go visit... but I'm still waiting for my owl.
Hahaha
This is such a helpful video! How many images did you include in their final gallery? You got so many great ones!
This is not my type of photography but damn did I learn a lot!
So happy to hear it!
When you were editing on the phone, it said jpeg, so are you shooting these sessions in jpeg or raw? Would it be the same for your weddings? Also, is there any particular reasoning behind your choice? Thanks for all the great educational content!
Very helpful to see a pro working live
Definitely what I was aiming for
👍Great shoot, thanks for sharing. What is this location?
Princeton university
Really learned A lot Vanessa Ty!! Question? How Many finished images do You typically deliver to the clients of a Shoot like this?
Great to hear! They’re all shown at the end of the video. An hour shoot, about 100
Images
@@VanessaJoy Beautiful work!
Do you let them see unedited photos and they select their 100? Or do you choose and edit the 100 photos before you deliver to them?
amazing
❤️❤️❤️ Awesome. Can you PLEASE send a link for reference to the “eye-mouth” stand. I didn’t quite catch that or understood it.Thx so much!
Thx!
@@4sabrinan it’s nothing I can reference, it’s just a “correct” way to pose two people together height-wise. The taller person’s mouth being at the same height of the shorter person’s eyes
Very helpful
Location is fantastic. is this a University?
Yes! Princeton ☺️
Well done
thank you
My pleasure
Super
Thx ☺️
balance beam tip is undefeated.
How long was the total shoot?
An hour
Was this location Knox College?
Great
Glad u like!
how do u people edit the photos
Lightroom and photoshop. Some use only one of them, others use both.
Looks like Princeton University.
You got it!
histograms right side happy but lonely
lol lonely?
Not talking shit bc she is obviously amazing at what she does and is on adorama and I’m not….but it baffles me when photographers leave people in their clients images….I literally have to take hundreds of people out in my photos shooting at the beach every single day…who knows maybe I’m doing it wrong and should leave the people
I thought the initial few photos were a bit overexposed.
It's an Engagement Session, not a Death Metal album cover ;)
All the photos look over exposed lol
@@gamstyle_ 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 love u david
@@gabemiranda3121 nope that’s a happy histogram there, no overblown whites, and blacks present. You might not like the midtones raised or contrast lowered, but that doesn’t mean they’re over exposed.
