I had histamine intolerance still do to some degree. Saw a naturopath worked out I had methane sibo/ leaky gut. Did low histamine diet, took quality supplements n herbs n I can now say 6 months after this protocol I’m essentially cured!
Histamine issues started in peri and has been hell in menopause. When I take progesterone I get estrogen kickback. But the symptoms were so uncomfortable I didn’t dare increase my progesterone till they went away
Great info! So should a post menopausal woman on bioidentical hrt still take sulfurophane? My hrt has made my allergies quite extreme but I don't want to stop my hrt as it really helps my menopausal symptoms.
From what I understand in menopause estrogen goes into the tissues so it won’t show up in the blood. I know when I take progesterone I end up with estrogen kickback and a lot of bad symptoms. The key is to keep increasing progesterone, but I never did try it. I think I’m just gonna have to try it, just aggravates symptoms
