Yea, but I think it deserves honorary metric status insofar as it is more easy to reconcile with meters than yards, and is most commonly incremented in tenths rather than 1/4ths
That looks like an awesome system. I would love to get my hands on one at some point.👊

Mills allows you to use a gun number for cross wind to adjust in 0.1mrad per unit of crosswind to correlate to every 100 yards of range. For instance, my 6.5 PRC has a gun number of 8, meaning for a crosswind of 8 mph, I adjust my windage 0.1 mrad at 100 yards, 0.2 at 200 yards…0.5 at 500 yards…0.8 at 800 yards, all for the same 8 mph crosswind. MOA does not have that easy of adjustment for wind calls. I hunt archery, but have competed in PRS and NRL in local and regional shoots in the past. I agree, shooting a precision rifle has many carry over applications to archery. Plus, it’s a lot of even more expensive fun!
Nice gear dump and the thumbnail tricked me, plus I know that at least for elk and whitetail 🦌 and turkey 🦃 that Dan is archery 🏹 only so I didn’t expect him to be in this video. But it’s cool that he is and many archery guys predator hunt with rifles which is a more effective and efficient system. I definitely want to set up my one rifle with an arca plate to hunt out west using a sturdy tripod. The glove test will be an interesting one too. I need to find a lighter weight glove that is waterproof or water resistant because I am not afraid to hunt in the rain 🌧️ as long as it’s not an absolute downpour.
Been loving the elk shape gear channel. having the whole team together testing gear, and sharing it with the viewers. #ABT
Glad you like our content! More to come😊👊
Mils is NOT "metric". It's just another angular measurement. Just thought you'd like to know!
Gotcha...thanks for the info!

Good point...We are all new to the long range program. We are going to bring you along on our progression and share what we learn as we go!😊
I think that snipers tripod was a RRS tripod… but both good tripods!
I think you might be right...They both look very similar.
