Al you and Ron were a blessing in my life! The few times we talked on the phone and in Walker I don't think you realized how you made a impact on my life and that goes for your closings on every show it's powerful brother! Thank for the many many years that you and Ron and your families let us be a part of your lives!!!! Lord bless you Al and the Lindner Family!!!!
White bass are one of my favorite fish to catch. They're also very good eating! I thank you for that Gospel reading from Matthew! I really needed that! I have been unemployed for 3 months now, worrying day to day at times if I'd be able to support my family. Today I accepted a job offer and will be starting work next week. Amen, God is great!
Second times on the same bay again, now I confident that I will catch them in this early spring in 2023. I thank you for the advice and videos specially in that particular lake.❤
These arent sought after much in Green Bay WI but since I like big crappies, I decided to give it a legit shot. Its not spawn, but early summer water temp 62 degrees. Today I went shallow looking for them, found minnows getting chased/jumping and casted small jig/curly at it and started landing 16" white bass mixed in smallmouth. The white's were bigger and fought harder than the smallmouth. Same size as your vid, Mini-Stripers. Im going to try and stay on them this summer, Walleye fishing gets old and its getting too competitive with this area becoming a mecca for it.
If you’ve ever fished around yellow bass they are twice as bad for how small they are and every fin has a sharp tine. Still love catching and eating them both, no other panfish fire up like the temperate bass species.
When they are schooling just about anything works. Even foil wrapped on hook with a bobber . On Lake Erie we used a chugger agitator plug with a 3 foot leader to a white red jig . Caught hundreds in spring .
Inlets, outlets, bridges and other areas with structures that are accessible from the bank. Inlets are early season spawn producers. Outlets are consistent year round, as long as water is released periodically. Bridges and structures will be consistent year round. Time of day is probably the biggest variable when fishing here. That said the problem is often times reaching the school. A striper style spinning set can get the job done, giving you the ability to cast extremely long distances. It's not as fun as light spinning gear but we've got to make the best of what we have. Good luck. BTW, the "big white bass" they are catching are wipers or hybrids, cross between striper and white, not pure white bass. Great video guys!
Where I live we save ourselves $150G in boat and equipment just by watching for flocks of hovering seagulls. That's where the bait and white bass will be.
Good stuff guys, but I will just be the pedantic one right quick: Bass are not Panfish. Even though they are Sunfish. Let that bake your noodle right quick, lol

How can we find them for those who doesn't have a boat?

Off of piers in Lake Erie. Catch 30 to 40 in a couple hours .

How far off the bay did you find these fish??
Getting tired of walleye fishing and trolling.
