Lots of good info. Here in Middle Tennessee there is a place where two rivers come together into one at the head of a lake. In the Spring this area is loaded with White Bass. They are suckers for a Chrome and blue back blade bait.

Excellent tips! Thanks for taking the time to map out on a creek what you are looking for & why; this will translate to the creeks that I have access to. Well done sir!
Excellent info. Loved the tips. One thing I caught that I was confused on, that being the speed of current on inside and outside bends I believe that the faster current is typically on the outside of the bends an not the inside. Inside bends being slower allow the sand and silt to drop out of suspension as the water is congested trying to turn the tight corner, therefore leaving sand bars on inside bends. The swifter water on the outside bends cuts more easily into the outside bends leaving deeper water and steep or vertical banks.
@@903fishing No worries, I just got confused thinking it was the other way around and was looking for either clarification if I missed something, or if it is the other way around, may help find the fish better. That's all. You do an AWESOME job. My point was for clarification only, not to criticize. Love your stuff! Keep up the good work.
Actually, I think you're both right...As the channel comes down the river bed and meets a bend, it usually crosses the bed from the center or the inside of the bend and hits the outside wall of the bend somewhere along the course of the turn. Exactly where depends on the size of the river, how sharp the bend is, where the channel is in the river bed coming into the bend, and probably a million or so other things I'm not smart enough to figure out! In any case, slack water, eddies, and back-currents won't be hard to spot. Stay safe!
