Thanks for coming to my home of Wisconsin ! I always loved hearing Al's voice explaining everything. Always gives you options. You can do it this way, or... Some of the other fishing shows got more exposure and had a bigger audience, but it seemed to me that like now, a lot of those fans were after the entertainment as much as anything. Well when you are interested in or love doing something, learning more IS the entertainment. Sorry Babe, but I can get entertainment for the sake of it, elsewhere. The Linder family was on our TV regularly when I was a kid, and it's clear to me why. Great job, and thanks for all of the great years so far !

Would love to see the return of Jack Crawford jigs. Not just the color patterns but the head styles too. Include the Lindy Dingo Jigs also.

What rod was Troy using for the Maribou jig? Also what size was the jig?

Larry, I primarily use 1/16 and 1/8oz maribou jigs in lakes. In river current, sometimes going heavier to a 1/4 oz. For the Moontail Jig, 1/8 and 1/4 oz sizes are my go-to's. For rods, I use both a medium power and medium light power, fast action, in 7' range for length (6' 10" to 7' 6").

      @@troylindner hi, Troy!
Thanks so much for the info. I know you guys are St. Croix guys so I hope I can ask one more question. I’ve been looking at the 7’3” MLXF Victory for both Ned (1/5oz) and maribou jigs (1/8oz). I know the 7’10” Victory is the preferred hair jig rod, but I’m trying to save a little money by combining techniques and I don’t know if I wanna get a dedicated hair jig rod right now. I’m planning on pairing it with a size 3000 spinning reel and spooling it with 8lb braid with a 6lb fluoro leader. I know it’ll sling the 1/5oz neds just fine, but do you guys think it’ll sling the 1/8oz maribous with no issues?

@@larrymarket9658 That would be a good option. It's a jump up in length to the 7' 10". For reels, a size 2500 would pair well. Especially if you're spooling with small diameter braid.
