I always find it amazing the SECOND he gets arrogant like an architect, its like the Universe says "Matt you never learn OLD MAN!! How many times we gotta teach YOU!!!"
This video really is an excellent display of hubris. Saying "oh these aren't bad" and then turning them all to 25 and the whole city being destroyed lol
To get the little warning siren, you need to build a disaster shelter and declare an emergency when it pops up in the upper left corner. They're actually kind of interesting to try.
Idea on severity, next time have it start at 1 and each event it increases by 5. Starting at 1 then 5 then by increments of 5 each time until you reach 25 where it stays. This would allow you to build up a larger town in the beginning before dooming it.
Matt: "audience's favourite wheel" 5 minutes later (removes the wheel because "its going too easy") Admittedly made the disasters much more interesting to see but still.
My mum works for Keywords Australia, who is partnered with Tantalus, my mum is an accountant and so she technically helped make City Skylines. I have only recently bought City Skylines, because i saw you make these videos, you are first youtuber i have subed to. Your vids are amazing.
Hi Matt! I'd really like to see you try a 'going green' challenge ( no pollution, no cars, etc.) I don't know how difficult it would be, but i'm sure you could make it interesting 😁
You should distribute the wheel of severe severity more like a dartboard sort of, with higher and lower numbers being shuffled together so any particular region has a more full range of severities
On my xbox in cities skylines 1 remastered, I built a map set in an apocalypse where there is an abandoned city that you need to reclaim. I just used highways as the road and added abandoned houses/factories along them. The rules are: you can only use dirt paths and low density buildings until you reach the tiles with the city. You can only use high density and industrial when you replace the tall buildings and old factories.
It kinds sucks that you didn't get your hands on CS2. You the only person I know who would test the water physics. Nobody, I mean nobody, even bat there eye's at the water
Real be like “Tornados don’t hit the same spot twice…Right?” Me as a American who knows a lot of things about Tornados and In Fact can hit the same spot or even cross paths with a tornado that happened in a different year.

I would actually love to see a series as the rules originally were, every 10 minutes and severity by wheel. See how many videos it take to get to megopolis.
I would like to a Cities Skylines challenge where will have to try and save everyone by evacuate them into underground bunkers before disaster strikes.
Love that he took my chessboard idea that I left in the comments of the previous "random chaos" Cities Skyline video lol, it's so much better than how he was doing it before
Did you know that you can drive in cs? You can drive a car if you go into the spectator mode and go to the radial menu. It says drive. You would press it and press where you want to drive. You can walk too!
Most eco friendly city challenge? Challenge includes only using turbines and not reading any waste such as poo. Could also do lees roads and therefore less cars
Could you explain why you weren't given access to Cities: Skylines 2? I've seen many many other youtubers, even smaller ones, going to Cologne for that event. (Obviously i haven't watched the video yet as it's 2 minutes old and i've only read the description)
You didnt get Skylines 2? You are literally the person that got me into the game. They should’ve given you Skylines 2. Even Spiff got it and his job is to break it.
20:16 As someone who has been born and raised in Moore, Oklahoma, this hits close to home 😂 Went through both the 99 and 13 tornados that felt like level 25.5 tornados 🌪️
Day thirty of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet. It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).
The LITERAL definition of an earthquake is 2 tectonic plates rubbing together, which causes the fault lines. So naturally setting it to 25.5 is like a 10.0 on the Seismograph (the biggest quake ever recorded was a 9.5) and would cause a fault to visually appear.
When you said forest fires aren’t that bad, a couple years ago, Australia has a really terrible bushfire near my town. I could feel the fire even though I lived kilometres away from the fires.
5:51 Go onto the firefighter icon, press the meteor looking button, spawn in a shelter and activate it, it makes citizens go into it and when your camera is near to it, you will here an emergency siren coming from it
This is like deja vous because spiff had a CS video yesterday and he said “lovely jubly” which I couldn’t remember if he started saying that before RCE or if that’s just a British thing

To get the little warning siren, you need to build a disaster shelter and declare an emergency when it pops up in the upper left corner. They're actually kind of interesting to try.
Matt needs to give his editors an extra ration of gruel for the cinematic score during the severity 25 tornado.
Idea on severity, next time have it start at 1 and each event it increases by 5. Starting at 1 then 5 then by increments of 5 each time until you reach 25 where it stays. This would allow you to build up a larger town in the beginning before dooming it.

I love that when the last tornado hit, there were people going "eh but the bins haven't been collected!" You're about to not HAVE any bins, Barbara
So, he didn't build any shelters and radio-towers to at least try to save people from the disasters? Truly, one of the engineered cities of all time
If he played the game well, half of his challenges would actually be winnable, rather than 0%.
I was thinking, why didn't they sponsor you for Cities 2, but poopshoot volcano might not be what they're going for 😂
Try and find exploits that can be used to improve the game before release (Spiff), useful. Poop shoot volcano, not so much.

It would be great to have a complete map saved, and test all of the natural disasters at severity of 25, and see who did better. 🌪💥
You could scramble the severity numbers so that they are not in sequence.
Hi Matt! I'd really like to see you try a 'going green' challenge ( no pollution, no cars, etc.) I don't know how difficult it would be, but i'm sure you could make it interesting 😁

"A burning bush symbolizing the suffering of your people" is a little on the nose but I suppose that can be considered a type of apocalypse
