16:36 Matt casually putting low rent housing in an area where you need to take a plane twice a day
Nah they just work one week on one off
Tbf after the commute you won't be able to afford normal rent
they can work in the skatepark
He should squeeze in the movie actor and rock star mansions up there. They can afford it.
@@RealCivilEngineerGamingfr
Matt building two massive airports, connecting them with 4 air lines, building a massive gas power plant, then wondering where he lost all of his budgets. Classic lol
Sometimes, the line between RCE and MATN gets real blurry. The number of times I've called Matt, Jon, in the last few weeks is astounding.
Mat, you could charge people for parking on the street; you'll have to create a district first (button next to area zoning).
But is it the engineering way to charge people to use the space in Engitopia?
@@CrashSaturn5475he did that did you not watch the video? The only difference is instead of having to build a car park to charge he can keep the street parking and charge
@@taahasiddiqui1071 I replied before it got to the car park bit
"I wanna do things somewhat realistically" He says as he works on his heaven city in the sky
he's only doing the realistic stuff on patreon now
@@vitormanuelfernandes5353yeah only on patreon sadly.
While placing towers that produce water out of nowhere.
Hey Matt, did you know that you can connect the airports to the edge of the map? You can do the same thing with trains. I have seen a lot of creators playing CS2 do that, so I just wanted to pass it on. 😁
They have airports in counter-strike?
Cities skylines 2@@ShovelKorp85
@@ShovelKorp85 How else would the CT come in to enemy teritory?
12:48 Matt casually calling it the "land of the rising sun" and making an imperial Japanese flag.
And the copious amount of planes crashing 💀
he's only missing the Mecha-Tengus
thats like drawing swastika for southeast asians.
13:28 Good thinking. A water tower in the pit would make Engitopia unrealistic.
If you use the vegetation brush and right click, it will remove the trees instead. You can change your brush size to remove larger areas instead of using the bulldozer tool!
"I should try and do things somewhat realistically." He says while putting a city on top of a 3,000 meter tall pillar of dirt. XD
its realistic for the himalaian
Bro took "cities: skylines" literally 💀
You should make a second sky city a ways away from this one and build a bridge between them. See how big you can make it

Underrated comment fr
I do love how organized this started and now it's just non functional chaos
Matt: I'll build the city realistically
Also Matt: it doesn't hurt to have a stair at the highway
Matt: makes a gated community
also Matt: why aren't people visiting?
If parked cars shift position when you use wide sidewalks, you can mess with drivers further. Imagine someone is returning to his parked car, but you move it back with a wide sidewalk to make him walk further. Just keep doing this over and over for six in-game years until the exhausted driver finally collapses and dies. Flawless victory.
More mindustry
Yes
Take my like good sir for I agree to that statement
U forgot -Day 125, 666, 888 Inpentoquintuorquadrigentillion of asking for-
No 😂
As long as it's not Clash of Clans I don't care.
Pro tip you can------- ban road side parking --------some where in the settings I saw another UA-camr do that I ain't got a computer.==You can also plane line out the city ( out of map) ==
Britishville looks insane, but also it looks much neater and more organized than my neighborhood
You can activate "no parking zone" in destrict options and you can add the parking fee for the streets there too, just in case you didnt know
This is the best series. I hope it goes on forever 😂
When Matt says,"I am going to do things more realistically." We're like,"here we go again!" 😅
Day 5 of waiting for Matt to upload Mindustry Part 2.
FFOTD: The average amount of time it takes to create a tier 1 unit to tier 5 is roughly 370 seconds, or 6 min.
He did a Mindustry part 1?
Oh no. He's gonna do it again

The Golden Gate Bridge just goes to show you that more bridges should be fun colors
as a avgeek, i can confirm that the sky city airport is totally safe and not two times the altitude a airplane can actually fly to.
7:38 building the city in the sky starts
14:25 It appears the citizens do infact love the sun....
Matt wishing he could be part of the mile high club.
*kilometer
Plane bathrooms are so uncomfortable though
@@DefinitelyNotAFerretexactly. So much easier to get into the club, when your bedroom is miles high up 💪
@thespudguy you mean the 1.60934 kilometer club
@@DefinitelyNotAFerretnot to mention disgusting. The next pandemic will be born in one, mark my words. But yeah, I’d rather get fingerblasted in front of 100k people than do ANYTHING in plane bathrooms..
bridgeman is back with another banger!!!!!!
14:14 now if the conditions are met, you can have a poorricane
Hey RCE. When you deleted those trees and bushes at: 01:45 you missed out a great opportunity to advertise MENSCAPED.
9:40: What's the engineering equivalent of heaven? The Netherlands - their infrastructure is second to none. They may be known for bikes, but even their freeways are impressive.
I love how he makes a comment about BMW’s getting on the ass of his plane. I’ve personally found that the cars most likely to ride my bumper are BMW’s 😂
In all seriousness though, the very efficient shapes are actually pretty good designs 😂
6:11 Patty is barking at unwanted house ghost. Good Patty 🙂, that a very good boy, Give him a treat for saving you!
Man I'd love visiting the heaven bridge: imagine the view, the freezing cold, the air so thin there is actually more gas emissions from the power plant exhaust, that's directly beneath you, than breathable air - LOVELY
I downloaded skylines 1 remastered for £7 on PS5, one of my train stations has literally 1000 people squashed into a blob 24-7!!! It is my first city, it took me 4 hours of restarting because I was so used to seeing Matt with mods on I didn’t realise buildings would appear randomly in zoned areas so I’d never have power and have no money left to run a couple pylons or drains!!
I’ve put cities 2 on my Xmas list, having services under the road seems amazing
I’ll never doubt RCE ability again
Creates "engineering" heaven. Makes obvious aesthetic feature by including absolutely unnecessary bridge. Peak architecture achieved!
The edits you add to roads (trees etc) you can stack on top of each other. So you can have grass and trees
Also, many things in this game have a left click hold and drag, including road additions. If you click a road to add one (like grass), then drag to other roads, it'll add them all at once. However, only one side, so you'll need to add the other side in as well
12:45 HAVE YOU EVER PRAYED THE SUN?
20:43 sooo I'm seeing that you could build on those edges... I'm curious to see how it could end up 🤔😂
2:00 you can use the tree tool with right-click to delete all vegetation in an area :) (use the toggle to tell the tool you want ALL trees and not only the selected type)
Fun fact, in Japanese city parking on the side of the road is impossible and you have to find a parking, and they're usually expensive, not 50dols tho (sometimes they're tall thin towers with a circular platform at the bottom to turn your car around)
It's mainly because of the density of people and the space available to build roads and houses.
And also money...
Your new powerplant is producing WAY too much electricity for that area, you should consider exporting that.
Should I question Matt’s mental health?😂
Or his methods of raising engineers.
This skylines series is such good viewing.
Happy BridgeGiving! :D
Hey Matt! Little tip: You can easily put the taxes up to 21% for everything except housing and have loads of money without people complaining 🧨
I know the Golden Gate Bridge is cool and all, but you should show the Mackinac Bridge some love too!
Day ninety six of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune
It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet.
It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).
That skate park has the world gnarliest half pipe on the edge of a MASSIVE cliff lol
6:10 Random Paddy shot 🖤 6:10
Lower Service Fee to 0 if you do it for Electricity and for Water your industry, comercial and offices gain a 40% efficiency boost! + your population gains +10 happienes!!!!!
Merry bridgemas😊
The efficient vehicle-free area looks bigger since you trimmed all the bushes.
If you add lights to highways they transport power.
You can connect airports to outside cities by making a route to the outside connector in the sky at the border.
You can do cargo by building a cargo port.
Day 6 of asking Matt to simulate North korea
Day 23 of telling you to stop this dumbass comment trend.
You should build a subway in the sky city. It would be cool if it went through the ground and flew off into the sewage.
Bridgemas is better than life
Finally, a reason to tell people they've probably never been to the Cloud District before.
15:36, that's more of an Audi thing! though it was able to take a turn with out massiv understeer🤔
Who else thinks that RCE’s family is from World War II Japan because of the road design that he did in the sky city?
3:30 replace trees with all the park cars 🤣🤣🤣
I love how the planes just pop out of the grounds
Would be cool to see a world with loads of similar tall islands with airports connecting each other with an international airport in the middle and have constant tsunamis just as a cool other worldly feel and not have it damage the sky cities
17:09 THOSE ARE CENTS MATT
You can delete trees with the brush as long as you select the same species of tree. You can find the name by clicking on the tree.
You can do it without knowing the species by selecting the right option when on the tree brush tool! :)
21:25 Better question: How did the airport get up there?
Prefabricated the whole thing and airdropped it in one piece
@@arbiter11171 now that is some serious engineering.
@@arbiter11171 Or fly there with planes that equipped with gravel kit, so it don't need proper runway to land.
Matt idk if you done this but maybe make a city chunk but the only roads you can use is …. Very Efficient roads. Idk how but puzzle it together. I wanna see efficiency roads everywhere and maybe an efficient bridge for a bridge review!
Man I almost forgot about you, so glad I came across you again, I hope you've been well! ❤
Heavengineer is the result of some fairly heavy engineering... very well named.
You could concentrate an episode for your city's economical growth, trying all different ways of making money, wich will help you for your other expensive projects
5:42 smoker's interchange)))
Matt you are the best youtuber of the world and could you bully some architects
I legit thought when you got rid of the trees, your were going to say “trimming the bushes” and gateway into a smooth sponsor ad segment. 🗿
1:22 whoa dude my family is in your game!!!! plz don't spy on us lol!
To make money, you need to get a power plant (Geothermal/Nuclear). Also you don’t need fertile land or mining areas for stone and chickens, you can place them wherever you want. @RealCivilEngineerGaming
After watching this episode I wonder if RCE could recreate a version of Midgard from final fantasy VII

matt while building a city district on top of a platform of land above the clouds: "I'm trying to keep this realistic" ☠
You should do this but make a few famous cities at their actual elevations. Denver or Mexico City down to Amsterdam etc. I dunno could be fun
Rce need to build a City in the Sky with only one straight Line
That fancy gift bag almost snuck up on you. You’re lucky P is on the job
I learned the word for engineer in French yesterday and you were the first thing I thought of
Merry Bridgemas everyone!
Putting the SKY in Skylines I see.
Had to remind myself this isnt the spiffing brit, with the evil way the parking lots were added lol
Also should i really be surprised that there is horrendous traffic in a city made by a civil engineer? 😉
now that's the real City's Sky-line
Why in this video Matt is like high, after drinks and drunk decide to record 😂
Can you try to put a radio tower on top of the sky city and see how long the range is.
You can bring the airport (passenger and cargo), train, etc. to outside connections ;), even with the regular airline.
You can also connect them to the outside world by selecting a line and connecting it to the edge of the map
Always love to see a Patty cameo.
Matt, you could've gotten more building space but you just made a hole of doom with a bridge.
Bridgemas is here!!!!
Trimming the trees to make the efficient design look bigger
Gases are light, so the trucks who deliver them also get lighter so it's not even "heavy" traffic anymore
i guess
Matt please put Engitopia in the title so that i know the next episode has been posted!!!
after that Link I expected a SQUADALAH at 15:27
I like that it says you’re losing money when you’re actually gaining money
