ZIMBABWE an overlanding documentary of a journey in time. Would you travel to Zimbabwe and if you have, do you recommend it as a destination to fellow overlanders? Thank you Zim, for golden memories 🤙
Thank you too bud for visiting, God bless.
I'm surprised someone doesn't do a bar that lays grass down before it gets near the radiator.
I visited Zim in August for the first time. I was supposed to stay for days but ended up spending weeks in Zim..all I could say is wow beautiful country with beautiful people
I can see why my Father spent so much of his free time riding out to Matopos on his bicycle as a young man.
To be honest I think I prefer zim to sa, what I call the true Africa!!!!!
Ford should sponsor you, because you are giving them front row advertising.
As a 48 year old Zimbabwean, born and bred in Salisbury /Harare , you have shown me places that I didn't even know about. Thank you very much and may God bless you.
Next level. At the end you talk about the people of Zim. You are correct. The two young lads who guided us through Hwange were beautiful people.
Such a brilliant video. The rationale for UNESCO World Heritage status at Matobo Hills is because spiritual practice here has gone on for millennia to present day and this interaction between the religion, the people and the landscape has manifested in the rock art everywhere. Present day local Kalanga people believe that spirits reside in caves, hills and many secluded environments. Cecil Rhodes is buried on the summit of Malindidzimu which translates to "hill of the spirits." My family's homestead is in the shadow of Njelele Shrine just outside the national park, where pilgrims still visit every year for rain making ceremonies and there's plenty of traditional beer to go around. It truly is a very special place. Thank you for showcasing this area.
Thank you Ryan for putting Zimbabwe on the international platform.
Most important on your honestiness about some facilities, plaques. Hope the Zim parks curators will get that.
Thanks Ryan, amazing video, being a born and bred Zimbabwean but moved to England at 19, you’re showing parts of Zimbabwe I’ve never seen, please more bird life…..Tatenda Shamwari.
The scenery is nice, Africa is a wonderful place, but I continued watching past 25mins not because of that, but because of the editing, camera work and especially music. Well done, its such a vibe !!
Thanks Ryan..I just shared on f.b
As a Zimbabwean living abroad, your videos are therapy for me, they really make me appreciate home and put a smile on my face
Friendly people of Zim all the time❤
Wow from Australia. Beautiful location, Great video.
Yr so lucky although I do love my country and we have some spectacular locations as well which I want to share with you all.
Cheers
Out There Touring
Makes me sad that I have not been back for over 40 years. Reconised so little around Harare - born near Lake Mac. Poor old Mermaids Pools. Hope you hugged a Baobab! Wow on the Sky Walk - maybe next time with the family. Great scenery throughout. Thank you for sharing. I hope there is an episode 3? Beam me over... Take care.
What a vast country with a rich heritage. I'd love to visit one day and overland some of it. Never seen a manual Ranger either ... hello from New Zealand.
Phenomenal, high quality video and content.
Amazing. Well executed. Thanks Ryan much love from Zim
Zimbabwe has some great rail trips. Back in the day, it was a great way to see the landscape and travel throughout. Oh, those train trips... unforgettable.
Absolutely True, I did the Bulawayo to Vic Falls by Steam train, and nothing will ever erase the memorable journey.🚅🚅🚅
Thankyou very much Ryan for showing our beautiful Zimbabwe. 🇿🇼. Wow did us proud indeed! I love this place and am glad you enjoyed it and our people.
Thankyou for sharing your 4 x 4 adventures.

Excellent stuff, remember it well, I was 8, now 68 !!!!!
Ryan, thank you so much for the episode. Zimbabwe is a GEM. The scenery, wildife, weather and, people make it so special. Quality footage! Thanks again!!!!
This is amazing, I've always been told how beautiful Zim is off both my Grandad and Grandma but this makes me want to visit more
The level of cinematography that your videos have is specialist level and your narration is perfect. This was a really amazing video that allowed me to immerse myself in this adventure with you. Your videos are phenomenal👌

MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love my country more than any ather country 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
@Ryan l thought youbhad taken a sabbatical, thanks for another one.
“Magic” reminds me of Edward 😅
I would just like to place it on record how grateful I am that you, and your fellow travelers and adventurers, invite us to share in your experiences! And this despite the fact I have actually visited many of the places that you frequent... Nonetheless, you seem to to do a lot of research on the places that you visit and the shared knowledge really is fantastic! The mix of your story as you travel and the the story's of the places you go to makes for a heady and intoxicating mix!
I long to return to reacquaint myself with the wild areas of Southern Africa, however, I am a continent away from Africa currently... Your offerings, among others, go a long way to reminding me of what I am missing!
So, in those times of reflection when you are bit tired and foot-sore from your travels know that there are many grateful and appreciative people out there who cannot wait for the next episode of your wanderings! I look forward to seeing you on the tracks!
Awww home sweet home, love Matopos, everything beautiful. Thanks for showing us the beautiful scenery, unspoilt, proudly Zimbo 🇿🇼
This was really a brilliant series. Thank you so much Ryan, for bringing us the content. Good luck with the next adventure !!
I really love this. It's adventurous, informative and inspiring. I wish to have such an adventure even once in my love
Fantastic episode mate🙌
Thank you for a beautifully presented video. The lush greenery reminds me of my childhood and December Christmas holidays. The scenery is amazing and the cave paintings are magnificent! Those San people had a great sense of proportion and accuracy especially the wilderbeest. The thought of stumbling upon "gigantic black mamba's" might deter a visit from me though😉😂😂
Matopos is my homeland where l was born.the game park used to be our way yo school during our childhood.thank for visiting our area.Maleme dam is our cattle ranch site.see you on yr next visit.we love you BRO
In my youth I would ride through Matopas on our bicycles. It was amazing what you see riding a bike there are many of these rock paintings close to the road in a car you mis them. Yes the conditions in the park regarding maintenance is a shame.
you are a special guy Ryan. wow - add to everything else, the music is just awesome. thank you.
Yes agree with that. The music is very appropriate. Sometimes you see lovely footage of animals etc and the music spoils it completely
Lovely Episode....never been this homesick....i have a 6 pack of Zambezi waiting for you in Centurion
You’ve just made me very thirsty mate 🤙
Ah yes. There is only one Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and it's people and places are wonderful
Was worth the long wait!👌🏻
Loved the Zim. series. Thanks for the journey, Ryan!
Great series Ryan! Thanks for such an awesome video. I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for more to come 🤟
Thanks for nother spectacular view into Zimbabwe! Nice to see new parts in this episode and loved the “quick dash” off to Gonarezhou👌 We’d love to do that trip soon! Thanks for taking us along
Brilliant content and production once again Ryan. Those views of Matopos and Gonarezhou are a site to behold. Great series. Was worth the wait.Thank you❣❣
This was spectacular, thanks again for the series. ZIM is magnificent!!
Thanks Ryan and Bruce you guys you are Legends on the forefront in marketing our mother land places to the world!!!!
I can safely say Gonaz as us call it has been transformed to well standard in roads and the ablution facilities are best in all parks followed by those at Chizarira National Parks others follow.
The Chilojo cliffs is spectacular.
I end with if you know you know
Was there the first week on November I enjoyed!!!!
Ryan what an episode out of this world again i love the Ranger thanks for sharing Zim wow epic
Just watched all your video's it took me two days but it was worth it. Life goals for sure
Very good series and thank you for that. The best part and footage for me was that of the witkruisarend (not sure what it is called in English), have been fascinated by them as long as I can remember. Again thank you for all the info about your travels and keep them coming.
I love your passion for africa and the wildlife boet. Great.
Beautiful 😍 were about is SANDERSON 🏕 CAMP
At Romelda Adventure Park, Matopos National Park. Very nice spot
Beautiful. Keep it going. Your video is amazing. 🙏🤞
great video with good info ! i am dosappointed at the status of the campsite inside the matopo NP ; disfunctional and run down ! but the government knows that turists come to visit this great site like i want to do and plan to do in the near future ; yet the government agency in charge does not look after the ablutions , electricity pulg points ; running water ; waht aa attitude and poor management for such a great place for the people irrespective wheteher one talks about the local ndebele people and kings or cecil rhodes or the bush and hills with rocks !; it is the whole set up that one looks for and appreciates but the camp does not have a toilette that the ladies can use ???
Worth the wait 😊🙏. An epic magical video. Amazing stuff and scenary
He’s alive ! 😅 thanks Ryan!
Thank you Ryan for a great video once again.
Awesome adventure 😎 following through your trip in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Beautiful scenery and camping 🏕
Keep safe and God bless 🙌 🙏
See you on your next trip 👍👌🤙
this was fun guys you had massive fun
Magnificent series with the final episode being a fantastic production, thoroughly enjoyable, thank you so much! Looking forward to the next adventure 😀
Toll-gates ONLY in the southern most & southwestern part probably accept Rand
Let’s go ! I’ve been waiting . Wow thanks
One my favourite picnicking sites the at Maleme Dam at Matobo in the early 2000s. So sad to see it in that condition. It was in a much better state then. Thanks for the reigniting those good old memories.
Hi Ryan, I’m in zimbabwe at present. I class zimbabwe as my second home. I’ve been visiting Zimbabwe for 40 years. I still get fed up with immigration and customs. It’s irritating and in my view unnecessary. Zim needs tourists but immigration and customs don’t seem to realise this. On a trip from Nyanga back to Harare a few days ago I was stopped 3 times in 30 kms by a police road blocks to check my temporary import permit for my car . SA registered car by the way.
It’s all very irritating and in my view unnecessary. I still love Zimbabwe, fantastic people ,beautiful country spoiled by bureaucrats ,civil servants
Thank You for the memories Ryan, The last time I was there was in 200 at Mabalauta
Well deserving of a Like, Share and subscribing, love #ZIMBABWE ❤️
Thanks Ryan, you don't disappoint, keep on you have created a good platform,we love you for exposing the Southern Africa on the map.thanks for your Patriotic to this region.
Beautiful ❤ thank you for sharing How beautiful Zimbabwe really is 🇿🇼you raised some very valid points
Great content, I always look forward to your uploads
Thank you for showcasing our neighbour Zimbabwe. Certainly a must see country once again. . . Planning needs to start
Once again Ryan, an epic film. I had to watch it in three bites but it was superb, all the way through. Thank you for doing these.
This has to be one of the best videos on Zimbabwe. Amazing flora and fauna, and narration is good. Full of adoration. Thanks 👍👍
Love your content, true inspiration, stay safe brother !
i have been missing these videos
Magic 🤙👍
Please tell us more about your coffee maker
Chinguli No 3 hasnt changed in the 30 years we been going there
I use the jetboil for boiling water and then purchased the French press addition for filter coffee. Chinguli is a magic campsite
My husband n I absolutely enjoy watching you guys Ryan, Ed n Chris. We love the passion you guys have for doing this. ❤️❤️❤️Always looking out for more episodes. 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you guys. We salute and appreciate your support 🙌
Great work Ryan❤❤❤ and enjoyed every minute of it. Zimbabwe was well marketed in this video
Beautiful and respectful yet honest narrative, thank you, I have not been in matopos areas for a long time. I appreciate your lens.
Let’s go
Nice journey...loved it...👍
Another excellent video Ryan. It is absolutely spectacular next level 😃. What camera and lenses are you using to video?
Yoh Ryan, I loved every one of the 80 minutes of this video. Awesome footage and info shared. You have certainly stirred a strong need in me to get to Gonarezhou .....ASAP!!!! Thank You
Great adventure. I have been following your videos and they are well crafted and informative. I'm sure that this has been stated before, that add the local people to your videos, they are great sources of local information, especially the culture. I was born and grew up in Bulawayo and the Matopos look and feel different each time I visit. The last time we accompanied some tourism buyers from the region and they were blown away. Me being a historian and former broadcaster was roped in as their guide. Fantastic place.
Loving, loving your adventures!
