Zimbabwe is paradise Wakanda is Zimbabwe one day those laughing at Zimbabwe will apologize and one thing I know Zimbabweans are not born to revenge we will welcome 🤗 all with love
One love 🇧🇼
Haaa kudhara ikoko asi
But the bureaucracy and government processes. A place that should be pushing for tourism should be more streamlined and welcoming
Another absolutely awesome episode of an epic trip. Thanks for the invite and for being great traveling companions.
Thank you Bruce and what a great one to experience mate. Thank you for joining in on this one and looking forward to the next ones
The young guy from South Africa, who said 10:02 "most people my age will never get an opportunity like this ". Brought tears to my eyes. He said it all, what's wrong in SA, Zimbabwe and SADC in general.
Ryan the quality of your your work for me is really amazing,. The film work and the narrative make it documentary quality.and extremely interesting👍👍👍. I’m truly impressed. Fergus
Thank you Fergus. Wow, I really appreciate your kind words mate. It’s something I pride myself on, and mostly over looked and never appreciated, but, always means so much when I hear it from someone. Really lekker to hear, thank you bud
This is absolutely next level adventure, the moving paintings, the wild danger of having a tasty steak for dinner in the lion's territory, we very much thank you guys for putting Zimbabwe on the map, we looking forward for more epic wild adventures.
No words can describe the amount of work you put in to create such a fantastic episode, thanks a lot Ryan and how do we purchase that overlanding Zimbabwe t-shirt
In 1990 Zimbabwe was worried about large amounts of foreign cash leaving the country when you came into the country you counted out your money and we’re given a card with the amount on it, when you left the country you had to show the card, you better have the same amount or less or you had a problem.
@@drewgilmour3489 Ok great... but the question was how do we purchase the t-shirt?
Hey Matt, it’s not available yet mate. Website is being built with online purchase integration. Everything and more will be available when it is live. Hoping for next year legend. Appreciate your patience and support bud 🤙
I clicked on this out of curiosity ro see what the overlanding was all about, and boy-oh-boy what a well put together video. I kept smiling as I watched you skillfully interlace the video into your journey. I have driven that route many times and it great to see hear your comments and reflections. I hope one day I will join you on this adventure. Tha bad section of the road is when you turn off the highway towards Gweru...I did that in 2011 and regretted it. Its really bad.
From Canada here !, Your Video has made me want to visit Zimbabwe . Well put together Video , Beautiful Country and Amazing Scenery. Zimbabwe is officially on my #1 Bucket list
Awesome and thank you for your support legend. Job done, Inspired ✅ You will enjoy any adventure in Africa, Do It. Cheers
Zimbabwe is one of the most beautiful countries that I have ever been to.
thanks Ryan... was waiting for this episode the whole week.. very epic mate you just made my weekend...next time Legend 🤙
Awesome Tonic, glad you enjoyed it and that it meets expectations. Good to hear your weekend is made and I’ll see you at the next one
Enjoying your series very much, brings back memories of growing up In Zambia and Zimbabwe (Rhodesia). As you mentioned in camp you enjoy listening to the natural sounds of the bush. The music goes on a lot and I feel it would be a lot better if it stopped when you are filming any wildlife so that we can listen to the sounds of nature especially the birds.
Great Ryan welcome to Zim
Thank you, we were happy to be there bud
Always my stop at the planes have a nice cold drink on my way to KweKwe
Excellent. Africa is one of Gods phenomenal creation and you have exposed it so well. Love watching all your Adventures.
Lovely to visit my homeland this way. Thanks Ryan.
I agree, what an experience and hope I captured the first part right. All good and see you at the next one
Ryan this was really special to have shared this adventure with you. It really brought it life for me, to reflect on the fact that we accomplished that together! Friends for life Brother! You are truly gifted…The episodes keep getting better and better!!!!
Hey Johno, mate, thank you for your comment legend, your support to me and my family and for being a really good friend. It was an absolutely amazing trip with you and Bruce, and really happy to that we got to experience a special place. Friends for life brother and I look forward to adventuring with you again legend 🤙
Hi Ryan thanks for the great video, really enjoyed it! I have recently bought a Fortuner like John’s,so I am hoping you are going to show us a bit more of his set up. We leave for camping in Kruger in two days time building up for Southern Africa next year, so it would be great to get some tips on the Fortuner build
Thank you David. Good choice and yes, I have had a few requests now to do a walk around of Johns beast. Let’s see how it goes but rest assured, something will be coming in time. Thank you for your comment, and have a good one in the Kruger. See you at the next one legend
Hi John, I commented above asking for details on your build before reading the stream 🙈 Please could I get details of your Fortuner build and who did all your instillation?
Hi Andre, don’t worry bud. We’ll be filming something epic on Johns build. It will be epic mate
Another amazing episode. Started watching your videos here in the UK last year in lockdown and they have inspired a group of us on so many adventures. Heading to Botswana in September and now planning a trip to Zimbabwe for the next one.
That’s awesome Hannah, thank you for your support and great to hear that you are and have booked some next level adventures. They will be something very special that’s for sure. Enjoy and I’ll see you at the next one 🤙

Greetings from Queensland Australia- we are utterly stoked watching this, we've so much in common, yet everything is so different. It's such a great feeling to see people doing such similar adventures - same kit, similar vehicles, our values identical yet the culture, the sights, the animals etc is so different! Thank you to all of you! 🙏🙏🙏✌️
G Day mate, and thank you Paul for your comment. It’s appreciated legend and glad you are enjoying the show. I salute you and remain stoked, it makes everything a little bit easier. I’ll see you at the next one and please, share the channel down under, it all adds up and helps me reach new milestones. Keep well legend 🤙
Absolutely magic. We love Zimbabwe. Ryan, thank you
Simply magnificent. 👌
Awesome Lewis. Thank you for your comment
Thanks for promoting Zimbabwe
He is a fair man
Let's have it .....
The easier way to get to Gweru is to stay on the Harare Road till u get to Mvuma then offramp to Gweru .That way you stay on the good road and you drive faster.Wow Can't wait for the next episode.New s ubie here...
Thanks Ryan and crew for taking ME 😊 along on your journies...you never fail to impress...I get good laughs...goose bumps too (roaring lions at Chitake springs) thanks 🙏 and more safe travels., looking forward to next parts

Am sure it will be "epic"as usual.. thanks 😊🙏
Lovely adventure, I had to chuckle though at your nervousness about the lions in Mana Pools, you're obviously South Africans & not Zimbabweans! We've grown up to experiences of walking in Mana Pools without a guide etc. Thank you for highlighting Zimbabwe!
This is great Ryan. Love your passion and energy. Thank you.
This is simply short of amazing. Thank you for sharing this amazing experience is as is I were there myself.
Hey Ryan this was absolutely lakka man. Never getting bored repeating to watch. Keep it up bro. And hey next time u come to zim let us know in advance
Greetings from the UK. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic adventure. We can only dream of such a trip. Your passion and emotion shines through and we eagerly await more from you guys. Thank you Louise, and really great to hear that the episode has made its way up to you. I appreciate your kind words, and the next episode goes into production tomorrow. I’ll see you at the next one mate, and glad to take you on the adventure
Welcome back home mate. Just for some who maybe intreasted to know...some of our cities had other names back then..for instance
-Gweru formerly known as Gwelo
-Kwekwe formerly known as Queque
-Kadoma formerly known as Gatooma
-Chegutu formerly known as Hartley
-Chinhoyi formerly known as Sinoia
-Karoi means "little witch"
With regards to those planes in Chegutu Ryan, those were actual planes Two Vickers Viscount planes, built in 1959, 1966 were converted into the "Flying Pot" restaurant.
They have an amazing history
Thank you for the info and your comment. Always fantastic to visit special places in Africa, and it was fantastic to travel Zimbabwe. The flying pot, was a great concept and such a pity that it never really took off. I would have loved to have visited it in its hey day.
I flew to the UK in a Vickers Vicount, they were a nice plane
@@nolavout9094 wow that must have taken a long time

Highlight of the video for me was the deeply personal yet fully relatable monologue between 22 min and 23 min. Emotive stuff right there.

Hie try troutbeck Nyanga as well very beautiful 😍 👌 that syde of the world...
I work for a company that handles some of the tollgates and the project at Beitbridge. The country struggles with bank notes. There's a company that the truckers this side use to purchase prepaid vouchers, this will eliminate having to struggle with change.
It's always good to see the same trip from different bloggers. I saw Bruce's one and together with yours it makes me feel like I was with you.
Your videos are getting better and better. Cheers
Wonderful video Ryan, thanks for sharing the best of Africa!
The lions roar and the fire is bigger 😂. What an adventure. Great filming.

Brilliant Episode!! #overlandingzimbabwe 🇿🇼 for the win!
Thank you Shane, and glad you enjoyed it. Yes, #overlandingzimbabwe for the absolute win
That country needs good leadership because everything else is they in abundance.
Idiotsss like you always appear everywhere & are usually out of topic. Who are you to say so. Did the leadership eat all the elephants & lions?. Get a life & watch cartoons next time. This Great Guy enjoyed his trip & thats all he shared. Every Zimbabwean is a leader in Zimbabwe.
Thank you guys for showing how great is out country and how lovely we are.
2 aeroplanes in Chegutu were delivered in 1994 & used to a restaurant named The Flying Pot.Went to primary school across the road from there
Yoo the lion moment so frieghting
Just fantastic man! The perfect balance of travel advice, animals, scenery, and equipment reviews. Brilliant!!
Thank you Graham. Being my first episode at an hours length I wasn’t sure. The episode seems to have been received well. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks again and I’ll see you at the next one

Loving my country I just miss home while watching this as I'm in south Africa at the moment
Can’t wait to. See u guys .. This month we’re going.. just wnn see u.. ..😊
As I was watching the video all I could think around the 35 min mark was "I hope they stopped at Marongora for their entry permits and didn't put it in the video".
Also you were very lucky because in the past they would not allow you through the gate if it was later than 5. Simply because you are not allowed to drive once the sun sets anymore
😂😂😂 yuuuup, it had everything to do with my good looks and Zimbabwean charm 😂
Awesome, can't wait for the rest of the videos!
Yess!!!!!!! 1st minute into the video 👌👌👌👌 Once upon a time a fire extinguisher once helped us in the middle of nowhere when our bakkie caught 🔥🔥🔥 Beitbridge border is just miserable 💔
What a great episode. Seeing the views and the friendly people added Zimbabwe to my list to visit for sure.
Great meeting you in real life the other day Ryan, keep up with the good work!

Hey Ryan you in my old stomping ground brings back so many memories. Went to Mana pools in 2019 to test a caravan on the rd between binga and Karoi. Eish big mistake with the permit. Hope u don't put blend in your diesel. Great video keep them coming.
