I didn't have a lot of time to turn these around because the Lasernut just arrived on my porch before the Tropical Storm hit and knocked out our power. So I unboxed it and took it to the trail yesterday while we were without power and then worked on editing it. Luckily power came back on last night and we got the internet back. This Losi really impresses me. I had so much fun making this video. I hope it shows how wild this rock racer can get!

Man that thing dose look to be killer..The remote going off as funny as you were talking about it in the arm boxing but I like that it beeps so you don’t waste all your batteries
The beeping is great except when it’s in you car in the backseat where you can’t reach it. 😂

To all you people thinking about buying one of these, go into Losi's own website and read the posted reviews. Probably 90% are negative, indicating all kinds of parts breakage. My friend who owns a RC store thinks some of this may be due to people using 4s and pushing the Lasernut too hard. I was all set to buy one myself. Also, Losi kept putting off the release date which leads me to believe they were trying to correct problems. Anyone have anything to add.

Would love to see two separate comparisons. U4 vs DB pro and U4 vs bomber. And thanks for making my decision harder on my next basher... Was really thinking that Arrma Big Rock was way to go, but this thing is awesome... Love my old SCTE Ten, but it asnt great at bashing. This looks to fix that.

I really like the look of this rig man. As much I enjoy the look of the Capra. I like the fact that this one sits a little lower to the ground and seem super stable. Great overview and run brother. Thanks for sharing thumbs up.. :P
It doesn't crawl nearly as well as the Capra though :) IT goes really fast though

Went to LHS for a lipo and guess what they had. They initially said it wasn't available till Thursday, so I showed up Thursday. Got the black and red. Completely forgot about the lipo.

Thanks Kimberly! This was using my Panasonic GH5 and a GoPro Hero7 black. If the camera was moving, it was most likely my GoPro and the tripod shots were the GH5.

Thanks! I drive and shoot at the same time. I had my GH5 with me and a GoPro. Some I drove one handed and operated the GH5...others I used my gopro clamped to my controller to capture. Took me about 1.5 hours in crazy heat to get these few minutes of footage.

Awesome video. I'm not really a fan of the rock racers that much. That said, it looks pretty cool. I would like to see under the hood.
Being independent suspension allows this to perform really well. Don’t need to use it for rock racing. We don’t have rocky terrain near us, so I find myself bashing them.

Great video, nice rig. Looks like it stayed on its wheels well. I thought the rock Rey rolled over easy. Does this stay upright better?
I never rolled it here, but this was loose dirt that allowed it to slide. I only had to pick it up 2x throughout my entire bashing.

I just got home from work a few minutes ago and got an email about two new releases. This thing looks awesome. Big tires should make it as prone to not breaking as the Losi Rock Rey. Hopefully if I get one, I have better luck with it than I've had with the Tenacity DB Pro. I just ordered a Losi 5T Monday or Tuesday. I forget exactly.
The other is a new TLR 8ight which also looks amazing. I would want to put a nitro engine in mine though and the one they recommend is the O.S. Speed B21 Adam Drake II Engine Pipe Combo, which is the one I'd want to get but it is just shy of $700 while the roller itself is also just shy of $700. It is a race buggy though. Still you'd need a servo and Transmitter/Receiver (not 100% sure if you need the receiver as I would have to double check). Either way, I am really liking these two new releases, but the Lasernut looks AWESOME!
I’m thinking about buying this as my first rc my question is can I use this as a crawler and do jumps and stuff like that or what would you recommend for something where I can do both with one truck starting out thanks for any help u can give me
This wouldn't work great as a crawler. If you want that, you might look at a wraith or Bomber. I made that mistake when I bout the Yeti as a "crawler" but wanted it to be fast too.
Wow, i was going to pull the trigger on the the db pro, it gets restock this month, can you point me out the main diferences in practice? One i noticed is the 3mm vs 4mm chassi plate... A comparison video would be awesome 👌 is this faster than the db pro?
Longer wheelbase, sway bar, spare, different body and wheels, to name a few, but similar nonetheless.

Looks like an awesome rig, but I’ve been upset with losi. They release a vehicle and part support sucks right out the gate and if you are able to find it, it’s so overpriced. Hopefully they support this rig but I have been very unhappy since I got the king edition baja Rey.
That’s odd. I haven’t had that experience, but maybe it’s because there are quite a few tenacity parts out there?
@Flash Some of their prices are definitely questionable and don't make sense, but I find it to be more of a problem with individual parts, rather than their kits.

Rock Racer = Not good at any one thing but Breaking! These break down machine turn more people away from RC than they will ever draw in. I feel rock racing is a negative to the entire RC industry. You will get none of my money ever!
