Losi Tenacity DB Pro - My Favorite 1/10th RC of 2019 - Let's Bash It!

- Cycling back to some of my favorite RC cars to run while we are "social distancing" ourselves. Today I went back to my favorite 1/10th vehicle for 2019, the Losi Tenacity DB Pro. This can take a good bashing, but handles so well. I took it off the "send it" ramp for the first time and a couple more. It took it.

Car performs very well, but kudos for video great job one of your best great action shots and music.

Thanks for the input. This is how I used to do all my videos, but people started complaining that they can't really see how the trucks perform. They wanted long cuts without all the slow motion and talking throughout the video. I did all those for this car already, so I figured it was time to do a cool run video for it.

Thanks man! Just a little teaser. Many people complained about all my content being like this because they’ve seen the companies cool videos. You can’t actually gauge how the vehicle drive if you constantly cut up the scenes and angles. It’s easy to hide crashes and bad performance of the RC (like rollovers). I cut out most of my bad driving because I want it to look cool, but does that mislead? So I’ve adapted and do a mixture of videos. This one I’ve done long one take videos showing full run time I’m with it. This RC is now in the “extra/have fun” with it realm. 😀
@@CCxRC Whether you do highly polished videos or just 'unedited/gopro on the head while you talk and drive' videos, we'll always come back for more. Just keep doing what you're doing and have fun. While the world is a little crazy at the moment, rc is the best 'social distancing' in my opinion 😁👍Stay safe and happy bashing 👍

Great video,great rc! I was looking at this one till losi came out with the short course version and now i'm leaning toward it.
I would've always opted for the truck look as well....but this handles way better. The truck bodies parachute it in the air.

I picked one up last week and I've had it out a few times. I think it's a fantastic buggy. I have a bunch of video I need to edit 😎 It can backflip with ease off a ramp and I find it to be very durable. The only damage I've had is one broken rear turnbuckle and the driver's head broke off. For $429 it's hard to beat this truck 😎👍👊 Excellent video showing how well it runs. You did a fantastic job!

Its growing on me , im not used being able to stay on the throttle in my yard even tho my yard not to big. I bought this over a 6s typhon v2 version that i can get for 400 out the door still calling me 😆 but i have a Losi truggy kit i still need to do .
Oh btw me2 i only broke a turn buckle and using 3s blx one for now

@@CCxRC Thx for mentioning you did swap the pinion. Wondering when guys run it on 3S did they leave the stock 17T or go to the recommended 15T. A year later and just got one will do 3S but I think the temp is more important as I plan to run it as you did here....need to see your vid on 15T swap...

Those smart batteries just make it so easy... I know I can do almost everything by checking this and that with different devices and but these are just a complete system that is incredibly user friendly and safe.

That's great to hear Mick. Venom Power has been my go to battery since I started, but Horizon sent this with the car for a review, so I wanted to show how their system works. You are right that you can check a lot of this info other ways, but this did make it easy. You do have to have a compatible controller or their app and bluetooth controller module. So if you plan to use other transmitters, you won't get the same experience I had. But I also have run Spektrum since the beginning.
@@CCxRC The self discharge to storage is the best feature of these Lipo's.
I won't be changing over anytime soon as I'm confident in battery care and maintenance but for someone like my boss they are just awesome.
VENOM was the 1st cool name I associated with rc cars and hop ups... I had there 120amp speed controller in my very 1st sc10 race truck.

@@mickd8188 You nailed it right on the head there. That is a sick feature and definitely nice to have safety options as the hobby grows and everyone wants LiPo batteries, but don't know the potential problems they could create if the don't know the right way to charge or store them.
Its a solid buggy, almost need some kind of catch net near the fence.

I have the tt pro and man I love that thing. Have beat the crap out of it and she keeps going. Everything is bent🤣🤣. Kinheadz scte upgrades on the way. Then it will be a bulletproof lil beast

I’ve never driven a Kraton 6s, but it’s got to be close to my outcast 6s....so it would be amazing.
If you want to bash hard and a great Allrounder - kraton all the way. If you want great handling - tenacity all the way
