I love my Lasernut: Tekno M6 Axles; stock tires re-glued on Proline Raid 17mm Hex, M2C SCTE 17mm adaptor, Power HD Servo……..its 16-17% better in every way than all my other cars!!
Hey dude 🤙
@@AlexHT100 hey man!
I grabbed a lasernut during an early spring sale and got a huge discount. So happy that i picked it up, and so far have only had one minor part to fix for about 2 bux (knock on wood) imo its a great car, and am becoming a fan of the 4s vehicles. Great info, and that backyard is an rc guys dream. Cheers
She’s rippin! Love the back yard too. Looks like you’re in Sasquatch country 😅
Yes that's a def
I have always been in the school of.. finding the edge of an RC's limit by going over the edge and when it breaks.. the next time out, dont go over that edge intentionally ..but things happen when "bashing", ya break it , ya fix it , thats why we have multiple RC's so when you break one, you still have others to run while waiting for parts .. lol
Yeah you just have to be careful on breakages of certain vehicles when parts are not available 🤣😂
@@rcguygarage You said a mouth FULL!🤦♂️
I seriously miss my Lasernut now. Always liked the tire on the back since I set the punch high to make it wheelie. Maybe one day I will find a used one and have some fun with it again. Of the few rc models I have owned the Lasernut so far was the best city basher.
They are on sale right now at Tower Hobbies until January 31st 2023. I’m thinking of getting one
IM watching this vid while charging my batteries for my Typhon and Maxx. Nice tease. well done, made me smile.
Idk what’s more funny. The arrma box in the background or the fact there’s white “nut” on the top of your radio 😂😂😂😂
You think that's funny go watch the Kraton video at diamond dust. You'll see something familiar 🤣😂
@@rcguygarage 😂 ok. I’ll check it out.
Damn Guy, your vegetables are 16 to 17 % bigger than mine!! I must be doing something wrong!!!😜🤣🤙👍🏻
What a beauty home you have my guy, looks like a blessed place to live.
Your having 100% fun with 16 to 17% Great video and run
I love my Lasernut. The spot where I bash doesn't have any jumps, but is a combination of sand, small bumps, and lot's of rocks. I tried bashing my Tamiya Wild One there, and it was bouncing all over the place, flipping over, and eventually a gear stripped in the drive train.
I took the Lasernut, which is bone stock, with no upgrades, and with 4s power out to the same spot, and it just soaked up all those bumps, and rocks without a sweat. Even when I pushed it as hard as I could, it still ran like it was on rails, and I never felt like it was ever going out of control.
I'm thinking about getting it's smaller brother, the DB Pro buggy, as it looks like a fun vehicle too.
The DB Pro is the ultimate open wheel buggy in that platform and capability
The whole intro had me cracking up lol...was going great until the tire failed still fun to watch.
Love my lasernut but its a 8th scale truck with 10th scale parts,my dog bones twisted and snapped, the hex's inside the wheels stripped and rounded off, bearings disintegrated and tore up diff casing, but i do love it😀👍👍
Hahaha. That box seems only 16%-17% of the original mass. 🤣
The box seems to be making a 160%-170% appearance. Might need to see if a decimal was misplaced.
That track is nice. I might rent or borrow a tractor until I decide which one I’ll buy to get my home track started. Those jumps and banked corners (without those rocks) are perfect.
The illusive box appears to make an appearance for about 16-17% of the time
Awesome bash guy thanks for sharing hey Good idea for good outside rc bench is a big wire wheel from electric company set 4or5 bricks underneath good to go just rite height 😀 oh an u can put umbrella in the center hole
Sweet front flip stunting.✌️
Scott 100% why I bought MIne cause I was In Portland and the terain was perfect for it. Side walks provide some great jumps :)
"16-17%" is gonna be merch soon🤣🤣
Looks pretty Sasquatchy there!
Some of the best front flips I've seen since summer Olympics.
🤣😂👍
For a one-person operation you really do it well!!! I get lots of entertainment and good info from your channel! thanks
👍💯🙏
@@rcguygarage Hey Boss.... Have a Losi Lasernut and have some wheel issues also. I have some other 12mm hex wheels I can put on, but the stock wheel hex is too shallow. I need a wider hex that will still use the stock Lasernut pin to hold it. I have no Traxxas rigs. In one of your videos, you used a Traxxas wheel, and I believe the Traxxas wider hex so the wheel would fit. Since my replacement wheels hit the hubs, I want to try your Traxxas wider hex. Can you help with the model so I can find a part number for those hexes to put on my Lasernut, Sir? Really appreciate the assistance, and thanks for the video so I know!
@@ParcoUpchurch the hex used is from HoBao and it provided the EXACT width needed but that was for the DB PRO 😳
@@rcguygarage Thx Boss... Since the two are exactly the same, let me take a gamble and order some they might work. Stock for the LN is just too thin exact same as the DB Pro which I have also....need a thicker hex. I have a set of SSD 2.2/3.0 rims on it their 12mm hex on SSD is deeper so need a wider hex. Thx for what you do keep the hope up for guys like us 50+ ...you may not be, but we are seasoned I should say, LOL
@@ParcoUpchurch They are the same but not the DB Pro is not as long or tall and it makes a big difference if you decide to try to use the Traxxas wheels it'll look like you're running 12-in wheels on a 700r mountain bike if you get what I'm saying
This channel is great
Love the backyard bashing track :)
One of my FAVORITE CARS MUST HAVE !!
I think it handled pretty darn good… and wasn’t overdriven it was right at home … just breaks happen and somewhat impossible to catch everything… almost got this vehicle versus the DBPRO … track looking good 👍👍👍 spare tire gonna be put to work 💪💪💪 oooohhh and watch those pin screws at drive cups come loose often 👀👀👀
I say the heck with the 1%ers. I want to be the 16-17 %er. LoL 😆 nice rip in the back yard. Sometime in this hobby when it breaks that is the moment when you have the biggest smile because it did something awesome and that ultimately was what broke it. Maybe your driving ability increased by 16-17% 🤗
YES I would have to agree with that
Master of the front flips 😱
I'm really trying GUY
@@rcguygarage landed more then you crashed that’s a master 💯👑
@@earlmoorhead5555 16-17% closer to becoming one
Love getting one of those boxes it really exciting 🤩. I use your driving to judge how durable a car is and if it is still worth purchasing after your fine workout of the Rc 🤓
Son of a nutcracker I knew you were going to get one ......awesome....👍
Yes I got this laser nut on the drop 🤣😂🤣😂
Dude the entry from you and Earl are the intro some funny men right there
Hey gotta get people laughing cause this world is sucking right now
@@rcguygarage 💯
Yes the intro was classic lmao 🤣
Yeah, you are beating on that poor car. I drive mine like an old lady😂
Great video. I had 16 to 17 percent more fun than on the last vid 😂🤪🤪 especially after watching earls funny last two videos (intros) I’m wondering where your zippy ties are. Never bash without them 😂😂😂
Kind of like the old American Express commercial never leave home without it
This was mad funny. 🤣
Awesome RC. Nice front flips Guy 🔥👍✌️
Honestly I was shocked I didn't give these tires and wheels a chance cuz I switched to kaiju's fairly quick
Its a cool looking car. Marked down on price right now and the db pro.
I recently bought the Fireteam. Great car. Did break stuff, but mostly because of lack of driving skills. But it's tough.
Oh yes VERY TOUGH MACHINE just OTB not tuned for how most drive. Just different
😉Looks like u may need 16%-17% more room to land those jumps soon.
You definitely ran it hard. Looks like a ton of fun. You would think 17mm wheel nut with those tires, dosen't make much sense. What about the db pro wheels on the lazernut?
You can hear the squeaking from the bearing the last 4-5 minutes of the run. Really bad the last 2 minutes. Fun to watch ripping around your track!!!
DB Pro wheels are way too small imo
@@rcguygarage Senton wheels?
The sneaky Arrma is funny as 😂😂
Did you ever have any trouble with the rear driveshafts on your Hyper MT Plus 2? I bought the +1mm ones and set the links to factory but they still keep trying to rip the crap out of the cup. It's only on the one side aswell and it's so annoying!
A lot of people know that I have thoroughly thrashed mind but I haven't driven mine in quite a while so I can't remember where I'm at but the trucks stock tires and wheels in my opinion are slightly too big and heavy switching out to their 17mm hex which I do have I just haven't installed yet I think does cure some of the issue
@@rcguygarage Cool thanks man, I've just put some brand new stock wheels and tyres on it so i might just sell them and get some badlands or trenchers instead and see if it helps
28:43 Nice
My first real rc was a loise eight nitro... I been waiting to get it out. May just do that to day. It's only 50 bucks a gallon for fuel... lol
RIGHT FUEL IS NUTS
Oof, I remember it being $20 gallon back in 1997... I guess with inflation it's cheaper now though...
The lasernut and db pro had a cvd breaking non stop early on. People were reporting the issue on the forums
Sasquatch tossed a rock on your track..
Great vids.
🙏
I am 16 to 17 per cent more pissed off at seeing an empty Arrma box.lol.✌️
The real question is was it ever even FULL and what the heck is it
@@rcguygarage a full box of every spekrum Firma crap that has gave up on me in a blink of a trigger pull.✌️
It must of taken 16-17% more effort to move that box around and film it 🤣🤣
MORE🤣😂
Nice RIP session!💥👍👍
🙏
Good video. Good script.
@@haroldbascom5866 👍
man i do miss having a basher. ive got a few 3s packs sitting here but i dont have a ton of money. i kinda like sentons but after my big rock i swore id never buy another arrma. what to do.....
The friction from the axel you installed is what caused the heat to melt through the tire, because it was a tight fit to begin with, maybe if it was 16 to 17% percent less contact with that axel hub, the temps would have been more compatible, maybe!!!
You could be 16-17% wrong cause it was the on power rear not the front 👍
Very well then, Maybe if that "Game Changer Fan" of yours was moving 16, to 17% percent MOOR air flow throughout the chassis, you might have avoided stripping out the wheel hub, that's at least a 16, to 17%, sound thoery!!!
@@tyshiddejuremanbey1313 given your calculated theoretical analysation of the impending issue concerning the lasernut's offending inconclusively determined failure you may be only 16-17% correct in your hypothetical hypothesis 😳🤣😂
@@rcguygarage Let's stay at this, because i'm quite sure the sultion resides well within the scope of 16, to 17% percent, the scale of probability is well within range, indeed!!!
@@tyshiddejuremanbey1313 16-17% is giving you better odds at tipping the scale one way or the other. The question is what way do you tip that elusive seesaw of 16-17%
91 degrees out today in mass
Yes👍
Rc cars do break,I have to Say that I really like my WL toys buggy I can beat the thing and not worry about breaking it like one of my Arrma trucks, I really enjoy my granite and Black Rock but really have fun with the low cost beater.it’s really fast responsive and fly’s.
Need to adjust your break settings to 75% or 100%. Out of the box factory settings is 25%.
16 to 17% Bigger than the losi DB PRO, 4s, Bigger tires. I want one!
Do you rebuild your vehicles every year because of the dust ? I'm not a fan of cleaning up my truck .
Not at all! Sometimes it may consider what's called a refresh of certain things but that's normally only when the vehicle is going to be down for parts I will analyze the rest of the RC and see what it needs.
Do you throttle over or use brakes when launching to level out?🤔🇺🇸
It all depends upon your ramp the jump that I've got has two arcs one is designed more for height the other one is designed more for distance the distance one almost needs no correction except for a maybe a tap of brake the other one with the steeper Arc normally kicks up the rear end so you've either got to try to overpower it with throttle if you hit it wrong or press the brake to get a forward flip but on that same side if you just leave a little pedal in the trigger you can bury it just as the front wheels leave it's all timing not as easy as it looks but you do get better with practice because what do they say practice makes perfect
That is crazy why are the wheel baring's getting so hot ?
Bigger Wheels on a 10 scale that had smaller wheels on it bigger power is spinning those bearings and with a little bit of lack of maintenance causes overheating and I felt it I just thought I was losing my mind
@@rcguygarage LOL damm the lasernut is laser hot !
@@RickyD1968 LITERALLY
I also garden XD
I still see no box 📦 ether 😂
RIGHT!!! That's what I'M saying! These people are 16-17% NUTS
Almost everytime I take the Lasernut out it breaks. Right when I think it’s ok something happens. The pinion keeps coming loose even with lock tight. Broke 2 sets of shocks & it’s only been out maybe 7/8 times.
Usually the inner bearingb guy , it's so much thinner than the outer , I'm going go rip soon , I'd rather get out earlier too but noise on Sunday mornings travels well lol
There is no box in the video. Only a nice Losi.😂😂
I AGREE!!! some of these people are CRAZIER than I am
@@rcguygarage a Box ? Cmon the Losi ain’t that bad looking. It’s „not“ a box 😂
You think it’s worth the $350 with sale going on right now? Today’s the last day of the sale and thinking about getting it.
No unfortunately I don't.
@@rcguygarage really?! Not even worth the $350? The receiver alone is $100. Now, you have me contemplating canceling my order.
@@Basher45RC I'm not saying it's a bad RC. But the video you're commenting on was bashing the RC how it shouldn't be. Your name as seen says Basher45RC. It is a very nice RC if you plan to be nice and semi reserved with it. It'll take a beating and it's parts are good. It's DIRECTLY associated from my favorite the DB Pro however they extended the chassis, increased weight and height while keeping the DB Pros parts.
Gotcha! Thanks for the heads up! Huge fan of your channel and keep crushing it!
I don't know about Losi. I like the designs, but i've seen many videos where Losi vehicles (DBXLE 2.0 for instance) break on first run, and i mean break. Just not convinced that they're bulletproof. I mean, nothing is bulletproof, but if you ask me, i'll stick with Arrma.
And just like you said nothing is bulletproof but that's what's great about having Ford Chevy Dodge Nissan Toyota and Honda that way you the individual with the cash in his/her pocket can dish it out and get exactly what you want or at least pray you do
I'm guessing you haven't seen my thrashing of a stock dbxle 2.0 I am very pleased with mine is there breakage absolutely but well deserved and as I'm sure you're aware sometimes it's luck sometimes it's skill
@@rcguygarage I agree, but what are your thoughts on Losi and toughness?
What wing is that I want it!
anyone else notice the Easter egg in this video?🤣🤣🤣🤣
What you talking about Willis
if my backyard was 16 or 17% bigger I still couldn’t crest you or backyard track , gutted man
I think you could get a double front off that jump if you pin it
Crawlers and boats man, you can only drive them one way really
Come on guy think outside the box man there's 6 billion in one ways to drive anything and everything 🤣😂
Try and Change yo nuts 🔩 Teflon thread lock probably worn and backing off?!🤔
I have found that just loctite is the way to go you just have to be patient and let it dry but I definitely don't have any patience every day that passes is a day that I'm closer to death
I kinda smell something 4s.
What you talking about Willis
I don’t know what box you’re talking about
Box? There's no stinking box
16-17% more wheel loss 🫣
You are exactly correct with 5 wheels🤣😂
Have a rc race with your wife king ☝🏾☀️💯⚖️⏰🎯🙏🏾
Lasernut? Thats disgusting
IKR?
I'm not going to be the guy who gets fired for talking about his new lasernut around the water cooler, and the female boss overhears and I get to attend sexual harassment in the workplace seminars.
Try 4s mine smokes armas 🥱
It is on 4s😂🤣
