    Good looking ride! I’m slowly but surely upgrading mine! I upgrade mine as I break it…lol.

      Yes, I totally understand. I just upgraded everything before it breaks even though it might not break. It’s just a habit of mine. Thanks for checking out the video. Thanks for stopping by the channel. Have a blessed day.💯👍🏾

      @@geraldchilders2625 yes for sure. I use a lot of GPM parts and a lot of my builds because it color coordinates with what I’m doing. I’m not a big basher. I just like to do open fields and street runs so that’s perfect for me. Thanks for the comment. Thanks for checking out the video appreciate you have an awesome day. God bless.

      @@geraldchilders2625 thank you yeah take your time. Just do a little stuff at a time. That’s what I do. I just buy parts here and there and once I got everything I just do the bill and that’s when I show you guys the build on UA-cam. Have a great night.

    Great looking build! That’s how it’s supposed to be done!! I’m building a DB Pro right now with pretty much the same upgrades. I tried the aluminum rod ends but they break way too easy.
    I enjoyed your video thoroughly.

      Yessir thank you for the kind words and thank you for checking out the video Yeah so far I haven’t had any problems with anything breaking on this I don’t do a whole bunch of crazy bashing just open park runs and street runs an open field. I’m not a big jumper. I just love to build thank you. Have a great afternoon.🙏🏾💯👍🏾

    That is awesome, I have two of these. One is DOA, been using it for parts. Has a messed up center differential. Even though I have parts I can't get the diff case open. So I bought another one which I run now. Been slowly upgrading with Vitavon parts. I wish I knew where to find a good RC mechanic so I can fix my other one. ✌🏽

      Thanks for the comment yes if the screws are stripped out u can get a drill and drill the head off the screw then use pliers to remove the threads if that’s the situation 💯👍🏾

    • @jkitto2008
      @jkitto2008 2 роки тому +1

      @@rcsfinest1883 , right on, they are the little dimpled Allen bolts. And yeah there's three out of the five that are stripped. I'm pretty sure I can take a Dremel and put a slit through the top and then use a screwdriver. I'm thinking seriously of just buying a new Vitavon center DIff. Plus my front diff is leaking too. Might as well do both. I'm thinking seriously of turning one into a showpiece. And the other one i'll continue to bash.

    Love the car. Just received mine. What kind of paint did you use and where can I find the candy apple orange color?

    • @rcsfinest1883
      @rcsfinest1883  4 місяці тому

      Hi, yes I used Lexan paint and then I backed it with a clear you can find on eBay or at your local hobby store might have it but I get mine from eBay. I think it’s a spastics or just put in candy apple orange paint and something will come up that’s all you need, thanks for checking out the videos and thank you for the comment💯👍🏾

      I found the paint and clear coat. What all did you do to prep the wheels for paint? Also how many coats on paint?

    • @rcsfinest1883
      @rcsfinest1883  4 місяці тому +1

      @@jaimerodriguez8456 just clean real good with alcohol. If you have any primer just put a very light coat of primer and then spray you can spray 34 coats wait about 1015 minutes in between the coats and then after it’s fully dry just spray about 2 to 3 coats of clear on it you should be good more coats of candy apple you spray the darker it’s gonna come out. Just remember that that’s it. Thanks.

    Nice one :) I just found out that both rear sway bars or stabilizers had broken clean of the "A-arm" on my Lasernut. Is this a known weak-spot? I have had trouble opening the "hood" or body to change batteries as it all seemed very tight. Perhaps I actually broke the sway bar myself because it was hindering the opening.

    • @rcsfinest1883
      @rcsfinest1883  11 місяців тому

      Hi and glad you were able to find the sway bars. Yeah it is a tight fit back there so you really gotta be careful when opening the body sometimes you have to push the body in to clear the sway bars so be careful. Thanks for checking out the video.💯👍🏾

    How have the gpm parts held up? Are the a good choice over exotek and vitavon parts?

    • @rcsfinest1883
      @rcsfinest1883  5 місяців тому

      Well, really just like everything else with aluminum upgrades they have their limits they will bend and break if you crash I don’t care if it’s Vivan I don’t care if it’s Exotec I don’t care if it’s plastic everything has a limit never use Viviton stuff so I can’t tell you, but I’ve use a lot of GPM parts. Just look at my channel. Look at all the cars I built. Thanks for the comment. Thanks for the question. Thanks for checking out the channel and the video. Have a good day.
