brotha, literally just got my dr10m finished up this past week. Programmed my receiver and set the esc to my radio and made my first hits today with my brand new drk set up. This video is gonna help me sooooo much with understanding the logs in maclans software. Thank you very much!!!
Awesome video.really great info.i never knew about the spread sheets.that will help me in tuning.i have been really contemplating on getting that chassis.
Hey good day to you, want to try to help you with steering, don’t know what remote you have but if you can drop your End Points down to 60R 60L and turn dual rate down to 80% are so..speed 70-80%, it will help over correcting💨💨
@@edwardgrant2717 Thanks, my end points are actually lower than that as well as the speed. I just have a heavy hand and need to dial that back a bit hahaha
Thank you for sharing what you are learning I just started this noprep hobby and have a Drk system and know nothing about it so I enjoy watching your video allot of people are scared to let you know their tune lol like I’m racing against them so it’s great that you are sharing
Happy 4th brother and congratulations on your new pb I love how you explain everything on the drk160 for the Folks that don't know looking great man .ps you'd be very surprised how much more you can bump up your start power from the 30s you have it on now .just a hint I'm leaving at 48% in one car and 50% in the other car . 😉👍🤘💪
Good stuff, i would shorten the stages i.e. 37% 45% 54% 64% 75% 89% 100%… i was noticing your first two 37 to 55 between stage 1 and 2. I’m definitely liking the performance of the DR10M though 💪🏾💯🔥
Yep that's something I started to smooth out towards the end. I'm loving the car so far. I want to get a little weight further forward but it's been great so far
Here's the tablet I use. amzn.to/44aA7Sy The ESC is the Maclan DRK, it's available from a bunch of different sites so if you just search for it you can find the best place for you to buy from.
I honestly think the car is heading right just because of the inconsistencies in the road. It's not the perfect place to test but it's the easiest I can get. The rpms nor the gs are varying around that point. One day I'll find a nice flat spot to test on for real
Good evening sir, I am getting into the rc drag no prep also, am looking for a motor/ecs combo where can tune and boost all that, looking to be really competitive if possible I have a dr10 building, any help would be greatly appreciated ✌️🇨🇦
I'm currently running the Maclan DRK and a Trinity Drag Master 3.5t motor. I know a lot of people are running the R1 stuff now as well. I can't really compare them since I've never tried the R1 stuff but I'm happy with the combo I have at the moment.
Whatbis the different between the drk 160 tsr esc. VS the drk160 drag race king esc One with out TSR it’s like 30 bucks cheaper so I was just wondering if you might know the difference between the two
I'm not really sure honestly. I did notice the newer tsr editions seem to have a different cap pack than the DRK that I have. Maybe that's where the extra cost comes in🤷🏻♂️
speed zone has a 1.5t motor. I’m sure the mmx8s could handle it. I think the drk and the 3.5t motor could prob go in the old car if you wanted to do a massive power upgrade. just a thought
Oh no lol I'm not looking into anything like that right now. That's when you get into dumping money into something just for the hell of it and I'm not trying to do that. I know this combo is capable of 2.0s- sub 2s, I just have to get there.
Where do you get all your information for that died did you bite or did you get it online of what the data you got how do you get to is what I'm trying to say
Are you talking about the run data that I'm looking at? All of that data is downloaded from the ESC after each pass. The other data I use is from the GNSS performance analyzer, I can get incremental times and speeds from the app.
That dr10m is a better car than the losi 22s huh? I think I'm gonna pick up a drag car after the first of the year and am tryna get all the info I can on em 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘
I haven't had any experience with the Losi so I can't really compare them. I will say I don't believe they are completely comparable cause the Losi is a ready to run car, sort of aimed at helping people get started in drag racing. While the DR10M is more like a racers kit. Think Traxxas Bandit vs Associated B6 kit. Two nice cars but aimed at different markets.
@@FullThrottleRCyeah I don't much about rc, I only have an smt10 and a coupla scx24's, but I've taken an interest in no prep drag racing so I'm tryna learn. Thanks for yer help 🤘🍻🤘

Great job, Great vid, and please keep showing everything your learning, like looking at data and knowing where to add power, Thank you so much.

Wow, I didn’t realize there was so much to this! Good stuff 👍🏻🍻
Thank you! There's a lot that goes into it. Which is why is so hard to complete with the fastest!
I'm running pretty much the same set up on a rear motor set up hasn't had no problems I appreciate the knowledge it helps thanx
Awesome! Glad to help!
is awesome what you are doing, really helpful. just got the Maclan 3.5t and esc

Its coming. I finally got mine straight and I been adding very little power. Now I see she can take it I'm bout to see what she does.
Learn from my experience. Don't add it all too quickly hahaha! Keep going a little at a time
I would like to see what spring rate effect has on squat 🤔 👀 and stearability.
Awesome video! where you running the stock spur and what pinion? Thanks
Thanks! No I went with the spur and pinion from my old car when building this one. I ended up with a 84t spur and 20t pinion
Haha, nevermind you did mention you stripped the 92, but what pinion were you running with it, thanks
🙏🙏
Installed DRK Esc and 6600kv motor. Minimum volts do you allow on DRK?
Pinks to the products? Just got into rc and looking to put together a funny sleeper

Is the Turbo coming in causing the veer right?
If you're spinnin' !! You ain't winnin' !!
Great 🎥
Thank you!!!
Great video.. awesome progress drop one tooth on the pinion that car will eat...
Thank you!!! I'll continue to play around with gearing as I go. I think you're right, I'm pretty close to the sweet spot!
So my thing is, were the data coralates to the car vering right.

Hey what happend with the tekin setup
I had a lot of trouble with heat with it. In the southern heat of summer without a fan, the ESC got hot way too quickly.
