tbh the skating end part is ALSO different from the manga. the whole part where ranma and ryoga teamed up didn’t happen. instead ryoga made ranma agree to a bet where the winner gets akane and they start fighting immediately. ryoga beat up sanzenin in process and azusa beat him up again over “martine” making their team loose
so we technically still didn’t get a full manga adaptation of this part
