How to attach ANYTHING to your cosplay! Fabric bonding for armor and more!

- This mini tutorial is one of my favorite cosplay techniques because it works for... pretty much everything! Attaching your cosplay fabric to hard objects like armor or 3d prints can be a huge pain when nothing seems to work, but we use this on everything from Beidou's tights decor, to Bubblegum's ultra huge shoulder decoration!

Thank you all so much for watching!! We're still trying to get back into the swing of things, so sharing this video and hitting the bell so you know when the next one is out is still super helpful for us!
This is wonderful advice. I did Batman this year gif Halloween and about killed myself trying to attach his emblem. I ended up using magnets, but they’re only so strong. I DID want it removable though. So I’ll just use this tutorial for other things. This idea actually did go through my mind when I was making the costume.
Oh wow this will be so helpful to finally attach my Terra armor to the body suit that I have been putting off for ... 16 months.
OMG! This just possibly changed my life! I’ve recently gotten involved with our local youth theater and I want to bring my ideas to life, but with more of a theatrical flair than sewing a pattern together! I discovered foam creating nutcracker shoulders… but I need to now make pcs for the cast for Cinderella! My mind is now reeling!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🤩
This is a brilliant technique and I love how enthusiastic you are in your videos. Very happy to see you back making videos, and your Bubblegum is frikken amazeballs. Just like a real candy cane, I'd be worried about the sword shattering if it's dropped. resin work is intimidating.
This is so helpful!! I can’t wait to use these methods for my future cosplays!
Thank you sooooo much for this! A "mini" tip but utterly life changing!
Wow so interesting! I had no idea that's how you attached embellishments to the costumes.
Thank you! This will be so helpful. Next question, though. How do you clean the fabric of the cosplay once the pieces have been attached?
This is so helpful!!! I can't wait to try it out
Brilliant, thank you so much for sharing this! Definitively helps!
This is the most USEFUL video ever! Thank you so so much!!
Very helpful tip, thank you for sharing!
My gosh this was so helpful. This technique is so clever 👏
How perfect!!! I needed exactly this whole trying to glue foam armor pieces to a flimsy mesh bodysuit. Thank you!
This is super cool! Genuinely something I hadn't thought about; but it now seems like a total no brainer after seeing this. Thanks for the video
I only have the attachements left for my Noelle Cosplay so this helped so much thank you!
Thank you so so much!!! This was the first video I found on this topic and I don’t need to search for anything else!! Amazing video
This video is underrated,
What a massive help, thanks so much!
Love you guys!!
This is great! Thank you for the tutorial! :)
That's a great tip, thank you so much!
I always wondered how you attached those large awkward pieces to the costumes, and why didn't they fall off? This makes so much sense! Glue just doesn't hold stiff pieces very long.
And that's what I needed to know! Ty👍🏾
Thanks!
Very informative video and definitely glad you addressed it. However, what were the leggings on while you were sewing? Was that a mannequin or something else?
Omg life saver!!!
💕
EVA is an initialism, not an acronym.
Does this also work for putting things onto wigs? Im planning on making a Marie Antoinette cosplay inspired by Mary from Identity V but there will be a 3 foot fake cake on my wig with hair styled onto the cake. I would’ve done a whole boat but I prefer a cake so I have a reason to hold a cake slice server and a cake knife.
I would love to hear an update on this… I love idv so much.
What about harder materials as armor onto spandex?
Can we get some links for the foam to sew on the fabric?
How would you do this with more mobile areas? I’m looking to attach knee pads to a pair of leggings without using the straps
Hey I was watching this for a Princess Kenny 😂
for the algorithm
Beautiful woman.
