  • This guide is on how to attach your cosplay armor together. This method works for 3d printed Cosplay and can be used for foam cosplay as well. By creating a harness system and buckle mounts for my armor, i was able to achieve a reliable solution to strap my armor together!

I saw this while looking for ways to attach pauldrons in a unique way, at the front and back compared to the top which is pretty common. Seeing this instantly reminded me of 70’s American military web gear, the y strap along the back and a belt is basically identical to ALICE gear. Anyway, really cool!

Great ideas here, Anton! Thanks for sharing this system. I like the use of the new mountable parts as well as the adjustable plastic part.

Hey, I want to use this with a cosplay I'm doing that could work with this method but I can't find anything like those triple loop buckles you had glued to the armor. Does anyone know where I could find some?

James DeRuvo I had not modeled them myself, that’s why I did not. I did get permission from model maker to upload them and share here
