This is genius! I've always been really intimidated by zippers because I never knew what to do if they were too long. I thought I needed some kind of special tool to put the end of it back on. Making a stop out of hot glue is so simple! This will absolutely change how I think about attachments thank you!!
Thank you! I usually will sew around the top teeth several times underneath the glue as well (it isn't necessary though) -- But I've never had them fail just yet! I've also heard if you're in really high temp areas that using a high temp hot glue can help keep everything intact as well :) Thanks for the support!

You can also make a few loops of thread at the end, but I never use metal stops. I'm too cheap! lol! Thanks for your support.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been trying to find good info on zippers on foam and what to do if you need to cut it
Very informative thank you!
Very useful. Thanks!
Thanks so much! Hope you're having a great week =D
Awesome, thanks!!

Is cement glue fine for a zipper to Eva foam?
Should you paint and finish your EVA armor before adding the zipper? If not, how do you protect the zipper from getting clogged?
I cover mine with some tape if I paint after adding the zipper!
Why did that look so simple.. :) Nicely presented. I do have to ask.. hot glue.. did you ever have hot glue fail with zippers? or zipper ends?

What about before or after painting armor as I want to put the zipper?
I have done it both ways! If you want to paint the zipper, then do it before you paint. If you want it to stay really clean, do it after.
Hey, dope video. Thanks for showing us how to do it. How thick is the foam on the item you used in this video?
Thank you! I think this was 4mm
