Very surprised how well this system works. The mounting system is so clean and sturdy.
I'm glad the mechanism is super sturdy. This reminds me of a well built monitor stand for desktops.

Hey Johnny , cool video. Just wanted to say that I had a android radio back in the day and the first month it was good. Then later it became garbage. So many problems so I went back to a pioneer deck. Fast forward about 5 years and I decided to give android another chance , plus so much has changed and the specs and features all look really good. So I bought another android radio. This one was the 9 inch and overall, all I can say is they still have a long way to go. It’s just not the same feeling you get with all the other main stream decks. It still feels a bit cheap. Currently I have a iPad installed in my car and I think it can’t get any better than this. We all know how capable an iPad is so you get all the benefit of that. It’s removable so that’s piece of mind. It can make calls, gps,movies,radio, games the App Store and basically everything you can do with an iPad , you can do in your car. all for $10 on my unlimited plan.

I love how she said it looked kinda cheap. Im sitting at home yelling at my tv, "Lady, you're driving a fucking Subaru! All they do is cheap!" Agreed, bezels are pretty big.
I get why bezels would work on a tablet that you use at home and hold in your hands but for a car radio.. meh

You can change the button settings. I have home button on the on off key - short press = home, long press = off.
Is the mic on the HU itself any good? Or is it still recommended to use the one provided with the system?
Nice👌dasaita logo could be smaller,agree on trim could be alot more slim line but overall one of the best units out there no doubt!

The nonrotating version looks better and doesn’t have the logo. Costs a little bit more though. The screen is square too instead of rounded corners.
How does the Dasaita compare to the Joying from 2 weeks ago? Aside from the rotating screen on the Dasaita - the Joying seems superior but what's your take?

I was not a fan of HD radio when it first rolled out in my area almost 20 years ago, but it seems like the reception has improved greatly recently! It would be a missed opportunity for these companies to make some extra cash if they don't offer a module to allow us to get those extra stations (i.e. on HD2, HD3). Why should the Europeans have all the fun?

Just purchased same unit what harness cable do you recommend I use the ISO or the the Nissan connector that it comes with for a 2013 Corvette Z06 with factory bose/navigation radio. I have the GMOS-04 module kit that will connect between the Dasaita and car.

Blue backlights suck, unless you have a hyundai sonata 2.0 turbo. The interior lights , back lights and instrument cluster are all in electric blue and soft white and matches perfect with this unit. I love it!!!!

Just curious were you ever able to get proper SWC in apple carplay, on my headunit I could not get my voice button to work for siri. If I set it to voice in the settings app it would just bring up google assistant, and if I tried to set it to siri in the settings of the zLink app it would fail and say that it could not program the key. I contacted support and never got a response.

It doesn't rotate. Even tried downloading an app that forces it to rotate and that didn't work

Yup, it's a universal headunit. If your trucks support any aftermarket headunit it will work. And yup there are rca cables

You rotated the screen 90 degrees more than once but never saw the display rotate as well. Will the display rotate with the screen as well whether automatically or manually?

I agree with her about the metallic frame. The screen is extremely reflective, it works have some anti glare. And the recent apps button, in the newest Android when it is long pressed, it could split the screen.
Yeah, It's really reflective on the video. In person your eyes are able to adjust for it to some degree. But still reflective.

I wanna get this and use it in vertical mode only. But noticed when you rotated it the interface didn't change. Is there any way to get it working correctly in a vertical setup? Does the interface rotate in CarPlay or AndroidAuto mode? Maybe with a different car launcher?

But i really like how this one can tilt and it just looks a little sleek. so i am a little confuse lol so whats your opinion thanks.
Did try to download Android Auto directly to the unit?
It doesnt go into portrait mode so in order to read the screen it has to be kept in landscape.

It's bright enough, the glossy finish does reflect but honestly it's not bad at all.

If you measure the whole unit from left to right how many inches is it in width ? And how about top to bottom the height? Not on a diagonal

For that head unit it says CarPlay in the description. Did you need to still install the Dasaita CarPlay dongle for wifi CarPlay?
