This one has better audio quality and includes the suction cup bracket that everyone was complaining about on the other video. Less messy cables. Also, don’t have to wait on longer shipping. The Seicane has built in cameras, $20 cheaper. More options and settings, can do 3 way split screen etc. Otherwise they are basically the same if all you want is a CarPlay unit.
How does this differ from just using a dongle with a 3.5mm aux to plug into the aux on your vehicles head unit? It seems redundant just to have your phone connected via bluetooth for x10 the cost of a dongle/aux cord.
Sorry if this is a dumb question…I have a 1990 Honda that was recently broken into and the radio was stolen. They ripped everything out including pieces of my dash. Would I be able to use this unit for CarPlay without anything at all to plug it into?
Recently purchased one haven’t installed yet. I have iPhone but I also have an app for my solar charger that only uses Android. Wondering if I can use Apple CarPlay AND my Android based solar app on this???
They should make this in full 2Dimm slot, that is just what I am looking for don’t need a full radio just a device that give me full Apple CarPlay of Android auto, because we have everything on our phones today 🤔
How is this wireless? I don’t want all the wires exposed, it obstructs view. I prefer to go the other route and pay more to install one in upgrading the radio. Thank you for Vid.
Whats the sound quality like with bluetooth and aux compared to music played through the regular stereo unit directly (CD/MP3) ? I tend to listen to 80's pop or hiphop.
Can you connect the device to the car’s Bluetooth instead of the aux cable while using car play? So music goes to the device but is wirelessly played through the car’s Bluetooth connection.

How does it work with your speaker system?
Is this still working 1 year later? I heard many defects where it restarts or doesn't turn on
and how will operate the unit if it is put on the co-driver side and I have no co-driver? From my seat it is difficult and not secure while driving
Sorry if this is a dumb question…I have a 1990 Honda that was recently broken into and the radio was stolen. They ripped everything out including pieces of my dash. Would I be able to use this unit for CarPlay without anything at all to plug it into?
Yes, but the only sounds you would get is out of the unit itself, which isn’t very loud.
Now add a Backup Camera to this!
it is a little bit hard to install it for lots of people.
You can transmit it to fm on your own speakers
@@meneermeneer1989that wasn't the question
@@julianlopez723 the quality of the sound of the car kit Bluetooth is shit. That’s why you can transmit it to fm which is very good
Can you connect the device to the car’s Bluetooth instead of the aux cable while using car play? So music goes to the device but is wirelessly played through the car’s Bluetooth connection.
Would like to know that too
Yea via Bluetooth
I would research for the right magnets bc many don’t hold the heavier phones.
how tolerant do you think this is to prolonged exposure to extreme heat/sunlight, like leaving your car parking outside in the Arizona sun all day
Overheating is a problem. And is it adjustable the light when you drive at night??
Any possibility of connection external reverse camera?
Yeah my one came with one
Can't we use Google Maps and UA-cam on Car play? I mean all the apps which are installed on my iPhone can't be used?
I hope you change the location of the unit when you start driving?
Not sure what you mean exactly. Location is updated automatically from your phone
They should of had 90 degree cables to make it look a little better
I can’t wait to get mine
When you play music does it play from the car speakers or from the tablet speakers
So you plug in a device to an aux port with a wire that allows you to use your phone wireless. Just use your phone.
Does your phone use data when you connect?
Hello very nice and interesting video, I have a question for you I hope you will answer me. I would like to purchase a similar product to be able to use only navigation with Android Auto, I'm not interested in all the multimedia part, I wanted to know, I use Alexa from Echo Car in the car which I use for the multimedia part, music, calls and Alexa questions, I wanted to know if I should install this display when I receive a call Will I hear audio from Alexa but also from the display? Is there a way to hide the call from the display?
Just saw this cool video on smart car screens. I run a factory that churns out these babies, and I gotta say, we're making some pretty awesome stuff. We're constantly pushing the envelope to make sure our screens are top-notch.

Hi does it play UA-cam.
Netflix
And what is the screen resolution
Bought the newer model of this (with 2 blue tooth channels). So Thanks !
Nice unit and easy to work with.
Does anyone have any idea how to get Android Google Maps to auto switch to dark mode? Setting are set to Auto but it does not switch.
How do you do screen mirroring?
Is there UA-cam on it ?????
My 12 volt is occupied with my cameras. Is there a adapter to use cameras and car play?
how does the audio output work, does it HAVE To be through the FM transmitter /aux ? Can it do bluetooth and connect to my car stereo ? basically if i open google maps, can the sounds be on car speakers via bluetooth ?
On this one, it HAS to be FM or AUX. I just posed another video that has 2 Bluetooth devices built in so it can connect to the car via Bluetooth as well.
How can I fix the static.I tried different radio stations and pluggings in the car?
excellent review.
The conversation for my fusion was way too much so went with this
Can the audio be connected via Bluetooth to the Car like the Phone connects to the car? If the Phone is already connected to the car via Bluetooth, does the audio still come out of the unit?
Can you make wireless phone calls?
How about phone calls during drive? If we connect aux, then we cant use phone calls.
I've read online the volume can be very poor on the cheaper models
From the little speaker? Not amazing, but the idea is that you transmit the audio to the car.
Does this have built-in AM FM radio also
Would you know how to change the start up car image? I think you have to put new image on the sdcard, but don't know what file name it needs
Does it have a backup camera?
how do you connect the reverse camera
Mine has an issue where the date and time keeps resetting after the car is turned off and turned back on.
Is the backup camera easy to setup?

Why didn't you show where the other end connects to... the lighter?
Thought that was obvious, sorry! Yes, it's just a cigarette lighter/12v plug.
Hello, i just bought this and i am facing one issue. After turning car off, this device is still kept on.? How it will get off automatically??
Also , i want to switch off recording of dashcam, how can i do it?
does this allow dual bluetooth? like phone bluetooth then audio to car bt?
Can I be conected to this and my main headunit both by android auto at the same time?
Anyway to disable the startup sound that it make every time I start my car.
I have a samsung galaxy phone...your demo is with an iphone. Will it work for an android phone?
Yes, it will.
I m looking for that suction cup bracket everywhere. Do you know if this seller is providing this separately? On the amz link doesn't specify anything about this bracket
Yes,They can provide brackets, you can contact their after-sales
Mine doesn't have volume and it gives me a hard time connecting to Android. It mainly connect to phone music. It's giving me a headache. Other than that it's perfect
It's garbage for android I have it too tried it but nothing works for android. Only GPS, camera and music but the music won't stop playing even when I pause it still plays music. So annoying its completely useless for android just use your phone separately if you want to keep it for camera and GPS. I already took it out my car and staying with my phone which is 100x better.
what's the difference between this and a big new phone
Cheap thins like this which is £100 the ram won’t be very high can you tell us what your experience with it since you e had it. Does it run slow?
It’s good for $100. It’s not the fastest, but since this is basically just a display, it doesn’t matter. Your phone is doing all the processing.
My car has wired carplay. Can I connect this unit with type c
Can this be used as a backup camera screen?
My radio plays no sound , but my speakers are good would it work with this ?
