- Sure, you can buy one... but it's much cooler to make your own! Especially if you have a bunch of material laying around... and no money in your bank account... and a bunch of time on your hands... you can customize it, and make it EXACTLY the way you want!!!

Great job Brother. God's Speed to you. Love the video and your quirks for which the Pedestal Stands.
one thing with the nylon nuts, if the bolts are too short to reach it, you can always flip the nut around
my OCD hurts just thinking about that! haha! but good point
Nice job. Need something like that for my grinder.
I love your videos. I need to get one.
Doing something similar with a truck Budd wheel. Building a stand for my vice and grinder. Welding a piece of channel across the wheel in the lug side, a 3" tube, and a piece of channel on top to mount the vice and grinder. I hope, and believe the wheel is heavy enough, almost 90lbs! Plus the steel.
Great job. Looking forward to seeing how it works out
thanks for watching!!
Looks good and solid
great work!!!! will there be a video for the air over hydraulic conversion?
Thanks for watching!!! yep! totally! hopefully soon as i gotta get bending bars for the roll-cage on the Hodge Podge Dodge!!
Good work, I'm looking to buy the knockoff version of this bender and going to fan my own stand as well. I like your idea and might do exact same because my garage is just like yours and I need it to be mobile
awesome! I'm glad it helped! I'm actually in the process of adding wheels to it so it's easier to move. you don't necessarily need wheels, but I'm in a wheelchair and this is pretty top-heavy, especially now that I installed the air/hydraulic ram! it's a little sketchy for me to move it sometimes. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
When you are putting force on it bending tube is the car rim sturdy enough for the whole setup not to wonder and move? I was thinking about doing something like that rather than bolting to the floor.
if you are using the bender manually i would highly suggest mounting it to the floor. i'm using the hydraulic ram, so it won't wander. i bolted it to the rim (instead of welding it to the rim) in case i decide to bolt it to the ground in the future, but for now, being movable is a must for my space. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
hey bud I know this is an older video , need a bit of advice , I have the same bender and I'm trying to figure out how tight the tolerances are on dies , can't find anything on it. reason being is the 1 5/8 tubing I can source local for roll cage is about 1/16 larger than 1 5/8 , just curious if you've run into this or if there is enough room in the dies to accommodate me the extra 1 /16 ? any help would be appreciated thanks
from my experience the tolerance is pretty tight. 1/16" seems a little much... the tubing (**not "PIPING" - there is a difference) that I've used is pretty dead on with the OD. maybe talk with your supplier. hope that helps
Hey bro. I subbed cuz I need all the help I can get, then at 6:05 I read your tatt Gal. 2:20 and I found my tribe! Peace & Blessings unto you and thank you for the info you are sharing..
