Hello, Josh. My name is Harold Watson and I reside in a retirement community in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. I am 69 years old, have no living family, and am in very poor health, having had six operations in less than the past two years. As I am not able to get out of my apartment without help, I spend a lot of time on the internet, and especially Facebook. It was there I happened to come across your amazing talent and some of the amazing people who accompanied you! Josh, I am living under a great deal of uncertainty these days and don't really know what my future holds. I just wanted you to know how much joy and contentment your songs and music have brought into my life during a very difficult period, my favorite being "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You, that you performed with two very lovely and talented young ladies! I not only Thank You, but send a special Thanks to your parents for giving us such an amazing and inspirational person.

@@aussiepostguru I second that emotion. I am 67 and retired, feeling aging taking place, and understanding how refreshing older, less noisy, melodic tunes are so medicinal. "A merry heart doeth like a medicine," the Bible tells us, which, as I imagine, most who listen to Josh's music receive from it, medicine. Thanks, Josh, for your ministry.
This man is one of the most talented individuals around. Not getting anywhere the recognition he deserves.

Josh seems quite content with who he is and his ability to share his talent & the talents of all his friends with the world. He's doing it in such a subtle way, I find it quite touching. ADMIRABLE of him. Not only is he one of the Most Talented human beings; he's also quite GENEROUS & Humble. One of a kind.

Basically you're looking at the modern version of Joni Mitchell. This man is a brilliant multi-instrumentalist, writes great music, has impeccable taste, and seems to want to make music of every kind and description with anyone good enough to hang with his level of talent. He is a gift to the world and I'm glad to have lived long enough to witness his career.

I love Josh Turner! In his guitar playing, there are many details and chords that really accentuate the beauty of this song. I really like the B&W aspect. The ladies harmonize beautifully. And Josh's smile at the end just makes you feel GOOD!

It is most interesting how well-appreciated and connected today's younger folks are to these thoughtful songs with wonderful harmonies. My 12 and 15 year old grandsons are totally taken with "my" music. They just cannot get enough of "Sloop John B", "Southern Cross", The Seekers, Abba...and on and on.

No orchestra, or a band.. just your guitar, and your lovely voices, and you know what, I was searching for the best versions of this song. You guys came in 3rd, the first was Andrea Bocelli, the 2nd was Elvis.. so I’d say that’s outstanding. Bravo!
Eww.. Got to give you a hard pass on the Andrea Bocelli. Too much of a wanna be vibe in that voice. Elvis was the first to preform this song but didn't write it. It was written for him. I think this is better than elvis. Far better. The kid needs to work on his picking skills though. There are some issues with his lack of follow through on most of the notes and his chord transitions. This could all very well be because he just learned it though. Something tells me that it would be smooth if he kept playing it.

The harmony of all three is amazing, to think that young people are reliving these songs that were real music brings joy to me. Often Josh is singing the high tenor parts when singing with other men. So his vocal range is quite a thing. But as for me, I am amazed by his proficiency with so many string instruments. I hope Josh live a good life for the happiness he brings so many others.

When that song came out in 1962, it was a favorite song of mine. I remember figuring out how to play it on the piano. (I was a kid taking piano lessons.)
But what you have done with it, is moving and beautiful beyond what I imagined. I'm without words as to the vocals, except to say Thank You to the singers. The guitar work is perfect: Totally sensitive, restrained, etc. This is a beautiful piece of work. Again, thank you.
