That's the view I had when I stayed at Virgin Hotel on the last day of November 2023 and the first day of December 2023. My cousin and I actually walked to the Strip and back on a beautiful day for a Depeche Mode concert.
Another mellow & informative "stroll with Jeff" !! Luv me some Habit Burger (didn't know there was one) & Chick Filet !!! Had to laff a bit when you mentioned the homeless, and a little voice came on your phone and said, "walk fast" !!! Say hello to Kristina for me, take care !!

Definitely walkable in the day time but not so much at night.
My nephews and I once stayed at a small hotel on Koval, just behind Horseshoe (Bally's at the time) in 1997. We walked to the Hard Rock Cafe on Harmon and it was nice buy really cold. It was the day before Thanksgiving. Saw alot of kids getting dropped off from the school bus at the apartments. We took a taxi back as it was dark, cold and raining.
Do enjoy Chic-Fil-A every now and then but still prefer Popeye's.

That cement slab used to be the Key Largo Casino behind the gas station there and the Tuscany. And long before Morton’s was there, that used to be the start of the Red Light Area, it was an old strip mall with a bunch of xxx type shops and you could find anything you wanted. There was no Residence Inn yet opposite corner. It was way old school shady.

Jeff great job as always 1 thing I forgot to tell you when you walked by Tuscany it reminded me the evening of the Mandaley bay shootings I was in Vegas that night playing slots at Paris when the shots were fired and we were told to leave the casino had they thought the shooter was at Paris I walked down to Tuscany until 2 am until I was told by police it’s safe walked back to a dark strip never saw that before and my phone was ringing off the hook had friends and families wanted to know if I was safe was a night hope that never happens again in Vegas ❤

Nice walk, I hope you keep these vids up. I have walked this part of Vegas (The Strip to (now) Virgin) before. I can say those sidewalks, for the most part, are NOT pedestrian friendly. Especially with the speed of the traffic. They are just too narrow. I hope to see more vids like this. Maybe walk to The Palms / Rio / Gold Coast.
"Unsavory" at times is a nice way to put it 🤣 "probably wouldn't want to do this at night" is sage advice.

I had to pause the video because I busted out laughing at the 7-11 comment because IT IS TRUE! 😂😂😂 Me and my wife went to The Grove dispensary not too far from there a few years ago then walked over to White Castle (also GAF). Their soda machine wasn't working so we had to go to 7-11. Man I was laughing at all of the almost fights that happened in the 5 minutes I was in there. While waiting for our Uber, there were a few more fight attempts. All I could do was laugh on my way back to Aria 😂😂😂

There is a property 55 and plus at the end of Fremont Street I would love to see and another 55 and plus mobile home pretty close to Las Vegas boulevard I would love to see I don't know if it's possible if you could walk or drive by those give me a thumbs up if you can 🫶💯👍
