I love the Bellagio / Cosmo combo and now that they are connected and it's great to avoid the traffic and cold or hot weather. To me the Bellagio has more presence, scale and classical style and the Cosmo is high energy in a compact space and I love the Wicked Spoon buffet. Also like the different table games and slots across the two casinos. Looking forward to getting back next month!
Agree that the Cosmopolitan is a quintessential Vegas experience. Swanky is a good word to describe the vibe! We’ve stayed three times-2018, 2021, and 2023. Those balconies make it hard to move on to another hotel. The wrap-around suites are a special treat. Those little housekeeping issues add up though: during our last stay, we saw a piece of a condom wrapper on the floor in the living room when we first got in, other signs the carpet had not been vacuumed well, and dust on top of the floor tiles in the bathroom. One of the robes in the bathroom closet was thread-bare. (We left a note with an extra tip for housekeeping to get that robe exchanged, which they did, but it should have been discarded to begin with). In the hallways, the empty room service trays from the room next to use weren’t picked up for at least 20 hours. Shards from burst light bulbs had fallen from one of those hallway sconces and were not cleaned up during our 3-night stay. So I agree with others that the upkeep has suffered. Because of issues like that, we “switched” to Wynn when we traveled in 2024. If you’re looking for a max Swank Factor (love that expression), you don’t want to stress if housekeeping will show up or not. Yes, that’s whining at a high level. But legit in a hotel that still brands itself as “luxury.” BTW, Zuma was amazing. Life changing pork belly and unbelievable service. Always enjoy your videos! Thanks for the unbiased review.
Stayed in a wrap-around corner suite front tower high floor (like 40) for a few days. Completely insane experience. Easily beats any other suite in Vegas because how large the suite is and the wrap-around balcony giving an awesome 270 degree view right on the strip.
Thanks for the video. I haven't been in 3 years and was getting 3 night comp offers with minimal freeplay/resort credit. Since changing to MGM I'm getting 4 nights and 250/100 freeplay/resort credit. Going back in January - can't wait!
Your right about having a balcony experience. I stayed in a balcony suite at the Imperial Palace in the mid nineties. Had a great view of the valcano show across the Blvd. Yessir Vegas in the nineties was special
Great info on the Cosmo. I haven't spent any time at Cosmo, pretty much just the walk through portion to get to other parts of the strip (and stay cool in the A/C). I didn't realize it had so many shops/restaurants. Now that it's MGM, I may have to spend a night there on my next trip. Thanks for all the great tours and info.
Used plannin to get a room at FB next March madness with your link, 50% off. FIFTY!! Must have bumped up from 40. Worth every penny and yet another fantastic reason to subscribe. This channel is beyond fantastic
I like the Cosmo because a lot of customers dress up to go there. I love in Las Vegas and many locals dress up. I like being in the Chandalier bar in a nice modern cut suit, silk shirt and tie. My wife likes having a sequin gown on. It makes us special. You can always tell who the out of town visitors are because they tend to not know they should dress up.
Finally visited the Cosmo last night and was completely underwhelmed. Felt way too cramped and crowded. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but about 40% of the slots machines were powered down. Wasn't about waiting in lines for any of the speakeasy bars, so we went to the Chandelier Bar and that was the one bright spot we found. Good service. Decent drinks. LOTS of eye candy for this single guy. If I had to rate it, without staying a night, I'd give the amenities we partook of about a 3 out 5.
I love your videos. The Park and Cosmo are my favorites. I stay here as much as I can and I'm staying in this room type next weekend. My one complaint is the housekeeping. I'm hoping the housekeeping has upgraded since the move to MGM. Keep up the good work!
It absolutely sucks they merged! I literally just got my gold status with Cosmo before the change, and right after the change MGM moved me to their pearl status! Now I have several thousand points before I can reach my gold status! Not to mention there are a ton of blackout days! You have to book months out to get consecutive days! I’m over Cosmopolitan!
You’re correct. Slowly, but surely the Cosmopolitan is getting filthy. I stayed these last 2 months. Housekeeping can barely lift a finger. The bedsheets had some type of blood stain on it prior to me getting in for the night. Called downstairs, left a $10.00 tip, called housekeeping myself after a 6 hour duration of me leaving the room and it wasn’t cleaned or changed. Both rooms sink drains didn’t drain properly. Some lights were burned out, I had the water stains above the tub in both rooms. Marijuana smell in the hallways is ridiculously strong. The smell is circulated through the HVAC. Finally, ALWAYS LQQK at the corners of every room, FILTHY! Lack of “professionalism” by the housekeeping staff. No one wants to work. I stopped checking for bed bugs because I just assume they’re there. Nice vlog as always.
Not sure I would say anything but the ceiling in my bathroom was filthy. The rest of the resort was spotlessly clean and I didn’t smell weed once. Thanks as always for watching!
We use to love Cosmo and it was a sexy luxury feel a few years ago, but unfortunately it has started to loose its upkeep. Sad really because everything use to be spotless and service was great! Hopefully MGM renovated it so, but I’m not holding my breath. Great video. Zuma is awesome BTW.
Love the cabanas at Cosmo. Our group rented one at the Boulevard pool when we were there in June. The rental fee (as of the last time we were there) is 100% returned as food and beverage credit while in the cabana. That amount of rental fee returned as credit for a cabana is becoming harder to find these days.
Great video! I've always liked the Cosmo but my only issue with it is how tired the furniture and rooms are becoming. Lots of wear and tear on tables, couches and especially the carpets. The rooms just don't feel "clean" like they do at Wynn, Aria or Resorts World
I'll be interested to see how the MGM merger goes in the long run. This is my wife and I's absolute favorite property and we've had the pleasure of staying here with incredible weekday rates that Identity awarded us - $99/night and no resort fees (minimum 2 night stay). This made it an absolute no-brainer decision to stay here every time! Also felt they offered better comp offers than MGM - but maybe that's just us as we're not big time gamblers. I'm going to miss Identify, and really hope MGM doesn't let this property go down hill.
Another great video. I love(d) the Cosmo. Unfortunately my play is Caesars (diamond +) and Cosmo, so I took a hit when MGM Rewards took over; going from comped to discounted rate.
You stayed before idendity transition, now they took away all the nice mini size bottles of toiletries and bar soap and mouthwash, replace with mgm standard large and cheap pump bottles
Just home from my trip Jordan and like u I did happy hour at Cosmo but at STK 2.30pm it starts $7 small plates delicious and $11 ctails I went twice they so good value.great for us MGM players earn n play in Cosmo now
Great video Jordan. We got comped for 4 nights pre MGM take over it was great staff very efficient and friendly had a great time love those terrace balconies especially in the morning and at night. We have been comped for 4 nights at Thanksgiving so this will be a restart but under MGM control I’m a Gold MGM member so we’ll see if the Cosmopolitan has changed

Cosmo is my home away from home in Vegas! Was just there in August and will be staying there for my 11th time for 6 nights (comp) in December. As a former Identity member my comps improved after the MGM conversion but a lot of people lost benefits as MGM tends to focus on gamblers.
Great point about the Chelsea tower at the end! On all of our stays we request a room in the Boulevard tower because of how close it is to the food and the strip. The Chelsea tower is not a deal breaker though, it has the Terrace Suite Fountain view room which is our favorite.
We have went ever October for the last 5 years. Last year was our first time in the Boulevard Tower. I liked it a lot better than the long walks from the Chelsa. The balconies are what has kept us from booking another property.
First stay at Cosmo was December 2022, and I haven’t looked back. I do stay at MGM properties on occasion and if it’s comped. I also have had several comps at Fontainebleau. Love the vibe at Cosmo and always feel the energy as soon as I walk in the lobby. ❤ staying in a few days and because of the MGM takeover I got four comped nights in terrace room, can’t complain about that!!!
We ussed to LOVE Cosmo, as soon as MGM took over I know cleaning would be an issue. Our last 3 stays the drain was clogged and stains were EVERYWHERE. NOT a top tear resort anymore.
I had to turn the mini bar off in a Cosmo room last year, the noise it was making was unbearable when trying to sleep. I love the Cosmo too but it could definitely do with a bit of a facelift.
I'm staying in a Terrace One Bedroom Suite in November. Having never stayed at Cosmo, i am so looking forwrd to this. Great deal as an MGM Pearl Member
Hey Jordan ! I really like Cosmo. I haven’t stayed there but now I might since I have a lot of comps with my MGM gold status . I’ll be staying at Aria next week so will be stopping into Cosmo . Have a reservation at Beauty and Essex . Also going to stop into the ski lodge speak easy . Excellent review sir 😎😎😎
Great video. I agree with everything you said about the Cosmo. I have been staying there 2-3 nites for the last 6 yrs. Have had the fountain view and strip view which are fabulous. I love the Cosmo and next yr thru MGM have 2 comp nites. Cant wait.😊
Which tower for a fountain view would you reccomend? Some say one is better some say boulevard doesn't have a walking, but some people say it's noisier. And so I know you guys are experts. By the way, it's cool. You guys are in Missouri. I grew up in Kansas and then lived in KC for about 12 years before moving in Oklahoma.
We stayed there twice, never gambled enough to get good comps. We tend to concentrate our play at MGM properties because we’re low rollers and need to keep the play at one place.
I’ve been to Eggslut a couple of times. The key is to get there right at 7am before it gets insanely busy. I’d wait 15 minutes….probably not worth waiting longer than that.
I've never stayed because I have always gotten kind of snooty service from cocktail servers and the rewards desk. Eventually I will stay there, the rooms seem nice.
It’s scary how much I and this channel think alike. I’m starting to plan a trip in December and wanted to stay at the Cosmo. Haven’t been there since pre-COVID.
I stayed last week. Former Identity, pretty much lost everything. Three night stay, housekeeping never came. Still my favourite hotel, I must be a chump.
Hope to stay there sometime in the future. Took my daughter in there few months ago, as she was newly 21. Tried Superfrico, was great. Ghost Donkey, meh. Barbershop was pretty cool, live music was great but definitely recommend having reservations because not much seating.
I was there this past Aug. same thing with the Fridge in our Room. It was loud. However the Room was very clean. It really does need a refurb!!! With that said I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!
Zuma is fantastic. Have eaten regularly at the LV & Miami locations for years and have never had a bad meal. Definite step up in quality from Blue Ribbon, IMO.
Hello. When was this video made ? Some rooms they changed FTW toiletries to those big containers when I stayed there in early July 2024. I do miss those FTW toiletries.
Jordan we love ya, but we need more Ashden 😁… time will tell what MGM makes of Cosmo, I’m not gonna hold my breath that it remains such a high quality resort 😢
I liked the cosmo before they removed all the full kitchens out of the balcony studios and suites. They used to be like apartments with full size fridge, microwaves and bar areas. They went too simple with the Reno.
About that tablet so far from the bed. There is a picture in the MGM app under Aria hotel of someone using the tablet in bed. So I’d have to assume it’s just on the base for charging.
There's definitely been changes at Cosmo since MGM operations took over in 2022 and they haven't been for the better. There is much more being changed or is different than Identity being eliminated in lieu of MGM Rewards. They're slowly and surely losing that unique touch that Blackrock had with Cosmo all those years. Sure some of the staff is the same from back then, but things are definitely changing and not in a good way.
Swanky to the max, easily a 9/10, by Vegas standards I still think Bellagio/Wynn hold the swank factor, and Bellagio is slowly fading from the top because it's so ridiculously crowded, with occasional homeless guys bumming for bucks inside (my own experience), Wynn is tops for pure luxury for me. Cosmo is modern though and you can't beat those balconies, if you can get a Fountainview Terrace or any one of those top level suites that overlook the Strip - easily, easily the best view and room experience in Las Vegas. Best slot player service on the Strip, the Cosmo babes are always quick and frequent with drinks, probably because they deploy a large number of them to properly service the floor - and they're very professional, and all that helps with getting good tips. I don't care if you're in some back alley Vegas local casino or the ritziest spot on the Strip, if you do your job and give great service, you'll always get a good tip from me. Seems like MGM hasn't ruined Cosmo yet...but we'll see...it has an amazing run for about 15 years of being an absolutely singular casino/resort experience, for me anyway, I'm staying this November, we'll see if anything feels different. Also, I just went through there in early September - Cosmo has gone full MGM with the Rewards. Trade in those Identity cards.
If they haven’t yet, they will MGM slots are so tight I love cosmopolitan I’ll give them one more chance about three weeks. I’m coming back again. If I don’t win anything this time I’ll never go back in their joint again.
Really depends on how you get and pay for your rooms. If it was through Identity comps, maybe. The rack rates have not changed much, though. Thanks for watching!
The Casino is always Alive!! One thing I really like about the Cosmo. Went to Fontainblue and the Casino there is boring!! No life even with people there.

Can confirm drain issues. One time when we drained the bath tub, water came up in the shower and smelled horrible.

I actually thought the whole hotel and casino was dusty and dirty like they were keeping up with it.
Similarly, after a dozen Vegas trips as an MGM member, we have yet to explore the Cosmo. A very detailed video. Thanks!

Block 16 is the best food court in Vegas! I tried every single sandwich at Lardo last trip, could never get sick of their sandwiches!
I greatly prefer Proper Eats at Aria. I don’t feel like Block 16 has enough variety.

I mean, I didn’t go THAT far. 🤣
@@joanwistinghausen696 different tablets. At Aria the tablets are more functional and they are docked on the nightstand.
You're saying that the price point with MGM rewards is equal to Wynn? But the resort is not equal? Cosmos pool looks like it has a great view.
Nah, it’s not as expensive as the Wynn.
You are correct that Tomatini at LPM is the best drink I have ever had and yes Egg slut is worth the wait - honestly the line goes fast !!!
The Cosmo feels more expensive under MGM now :(
Really depends on how you get and pay for your rooms. If it was through Identity comps, maybe. The rack rates have not changed much, though. Thanks for watching!
MGM ruined it! I lost my status rewards comps. The experience is not the same 😢
All of that!? For 67$ bucks!? 😮nice! 👍🏽
I go to marquee every year...the club is definitely showing it's age...the couches have tears in them...why would I pay 1k for a table again lol...
As a player the Cosmo has gone down hill since the change and the energy on the floor itself has dropped
The Henry has one of the best burgers in town.
MGM isn't doing a good job as of yet...
Eggslut line is very misleading. It's always long but it moves pretty quick.
I thought you were on tour with your band right now
When Cosmo first opened swank factor was a 10. Now it's about an 8. MGM took a lot of the themed slots out that Cosmo was known for.
Which slots did they take out? I saw that they had added some new ones, but didn't notice any missing.
Rocky and Snoop Dogg come to mind. Loved those slots and never saw them anywhere else.
They had a four screen fireball link, Rocky, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones versions I only saw at Cosmo gone now.
Cosmo feels like your at prom😂
MGM ruined the Borgata in AC once they bought it. 😢
I like the word ‘swanky’ but ‘swank factor’ sounds naughty 🙈
Egg Slut is really good better than Egg Head at the Aria. Their Truffle Hashbrown are AMAZING. It's worth the wait and the line moves quickly.
The slot selection has gone absolutely in the can at the cosmo. It used to have hands down the best slot selection and now it’s awful.
They removed ALL of my favorite slots when they recently took over the entire Casino. Nothing special about the Casino at Cosmo anymore imo.
Have eaten at Egg Slut in LA - great breakfast sandwiches, but I wouldn't wait in an extremely long line for it
The Casino is always Alive!! One thing I really like about the Cosmo. Went to Fontainblue and the Casino there is boring!! No life even with people there.
Great vibe at Cosmo. FB is very much affected by the lack of foot traffic.
Flashdance!
They are slowly but surely losing its upkeep since mgm took over
The mummy returns starring Brendan Fraser
Ask EMPLOYEES !!!!
YES MGM F*** IT UP !!!
Next thing you know MGM will add a dirty room fee
