I am from a family like that..my parents are both narcissistic and i feel very uncomfortable with my parents around. i thought my marriage as an escape route and i chose a very emotionally unavailable partner. Also now my father stays with me with the pretence of protecting me and my child in the absence of my husband and he behaves in a very passive aggressive way. I want him to just leave but he just refuses saying that he doesn't have anything to do back at his place at the same time he gives me stress since he behaves as if i and my daughter have done something wrong to him. It's the social conditioning to force people to tolerate such parents and cause a stressful life. I wish I were in some western country where the children get to choose whether to give care or not
