Happy Sunday FTS, not a bag or pouch carrier myself, carry only what comfortably fits in my pockets. Too many years of wearing military ammo belts & pouches and backpacks has taken a toll on my back.
@@FittoSurvive I would say that on any given day, such as today when I went out to get groceries locally, I have in my right pocket my keys attached to a 58mm Midnite Manager ( with its LED & pen ) & some Kleenex, in the ticket pocket of my jeans is a Cadet, in the left pocket my wallet with credit cards, cash, ID card, pre-paid bus & train pass, various other electronic cards, some plasters, mini-sewing kit & a few coins in a Kleenex as I hate having them rattle around, right back pocket my phone & left back pocket a plastic bag folded up into a small square. On the days I want a multi-tool knife I take my Huntsman or an EvoGrip S17 instead of a Gentleman's knife . This my version of a minimalist EDC, if needs be I will carry other items including a larger knife, maybe even a bottle of water or some sandwiches in a small plastic bag but its very rare that I carry a shoulder bag with more clutter unless I'm travelling out of town.

Really cool kit, well put together! Cary some match book matches (3-4 packs), they are good for obvious reasons, but another good use for them is the sulfur, yes the sulfur on the end of the match can be wet with water or saliva and rubbed on a fresh bee/wasp/hornet sting and it really works great to reduce pain and swelling! Good kit mate!👍🏻 If you wish, you can reduce the size of your kit considerably by altering & removing a few items. Plus you need to put that pepper spray in your pocket for quick deployment & not the pouch. My urban edc fits inside a Zpacks wallet or passport pouch (ultralight Dyneema Composite Fabric), which fits inside a jean pocket. But usually carry the pouch inside a sling (COB X POD or Aer city sling V2) or work bag. This 👇🏻is what I carry, if that helps reduce your bulk. Jean/Pant Pockets - Victorinox compact (switched the tooth pick for a fire steel from tortoise gear), RovyVon A8x flashlight (both multi tool & flashlight rides on pocket clips), Pepper gel with marker (instead of spray, so that I don’t have to judge wind direction) & nite ize nano steel carabiner on a pocket clip, housing key smart pro, mini cash can from sunshine & a victorinox midnite manager (midnite manager‘s 0/1 driver, compensates for the Philips capabilities missing in the compact). The above takes care of most eventualities in an urban environment for me. I carry a seperate tech kit whilst traveling to work (includes a maxpedition barnacle pouch that can stand upright on the train tray’s small space) & a separate hiking kit, when I am in the woods. These kits are dead investments or write offs, meaning, I don’t shift items between kits. Only replenish them.
Thank you for sharing that with me! Sounds like a well thought out EDC. I am working on setting up a more compact carry for my EDC. I'll share about it after I get it set up.
That's a Man size EDC pouch ! That strap system is a really good design. The Titan paracord is the real deal, the extra strands double the usefulness of normal paracord. You could add a credit card size fresnel lens too, handy for fire starting as well as reading small print. You need a Sharpie and pencil. I carry a 1 inch long carpenter pencil. Great for drawing, but also the graphite can used to lubricate locks, knife bearings and etc. I also carry an empty soy sauce fish refilled with after shave.
It is getting border line large for sure. 🤣 I agree the Titan paracord is super useful and well thought out! I used to have a fresnel lens in my pouch, but it ended up getting scratched up. I still have one in my car bag. I am going to have to looking into your tip about the graphene. 🤯 I didn't know that it could do any of that.
Good setup! Some unique and thought provoking items. Clearly a smaller part of a larger picture though. Intriguing. Hopefully we can look forward to seeing those other pouches! A couple things I carry that I don't think I saw, but might suggest: tape measure, magnifying glass, spare key fob battery... If you're living that fob life, anyway. 😝 Cheers!
Thank you! Glad that it was thought provoking. Yeah, more videos of my other pouches coming. 👍🏻 Tape measure is an interesting option, can't say that I carry it anywhere. What do you use it for usually? I used to carry a fresnel lens (flat magnifying glass), but it got all scratched up and I tossed it. I still have one in my car bag. A spare battery for the car remote is an excellent idea!
@@FittoSurvive Measuring tape is extremely useful! I use one often for my watch collecting/repair. Reference for online shopping. Spacing for my roof rack. But really any number of things including volume and area. Can be very enlightening! Measure twice, cut once! 😉
Those Sliver Grippers are great, they overcome the one weakness of my Swiss Army Knife. More important than pain killers is Imodium, losing control of your bowels will seriously ruin your day. Wrap your pink lighter in duct tape and you won't have a image problem. Not that I care, all lighters are the same in the dark. I don't bother with liquid skin for cuts, I just use super glue. Never had a wound that required coagulant, but it's nice to have when you do.

@@FittoSurvive I think so personally, but that would be a cool comparison to do a head to head! Their is another product I got recent (haven’t tested it yet) that seems innovative called GEAR AID Tenacious Tape. I ordered the Mini Patches. It’s washable which neither of the other tapes would be from what I understand.
I would recommend adding these to your edc pouch with your pills/etc - Tube of After Bite - Small tube of hydrocortisone oinment - Couple 81 mg Aspirin (You might not need it but if you have it with you, it could save someone from heart attack/stroke)
Good video , will be incorporating some of your items into my kits, although not sure why you would need to take this to Walmart as if something happened you would just need to grab something off a shelf or out of first aid kit
Thanks! Yeah, it is definitely a larger EDC. Some of the gear here has rotated out, but my pack is still the same size. 😜 Yeah, the harmonica is something odd to carry. 😂
Wow, that's responsive, thanks. well, i did see your car edc vid now where you play that Christmas song. i guess some guys out there are pretty interested to learn as its a great moral booster to play some music in a situation when you and maybe others are stuck for a while. i'd be happy to add such a harmonica to my kit if i'd knew how to play on it. You got yourself another subscriber in any case.
@@thedoctor3029 You know, it is actually super easy to play. You don't need to read notes, you play by numbers. I may end up doing a video explaining how to play it.
Great EDC, different, but you explained the purpose of each piece and that is great appreciated. One small correction, at the 11:26 mark, you discussed the antibacterial features of your light. It's not USB-A and USB-C, it's UVA and UVC (UV for ultraviolet). By the way, UVC is the one to use to kill bacteria. Also, it's very hard on the skin so be careful. Great video. Cheers!
That is a lot of kit to carry when there is a Walgreens on every third corner. Roadside emergencies will have their own kit in your vehicle Camping/hiking/outdoor has their own, Zombies as well, etc Make life simple- Swiss Army Knife, of your choice Multi-tool Small flashlight Ink pen . 95% of the time all you are doing is opening a box, writing something down or lookiing under a desk for something dropped. My daily drivers- Benchmade thumbhole folder Surefire 2cell EDC light Gerber Impromptu pen ( low profile leather pouch I made ) Gerber M600 tool, Surefire G2 light.
My job has taken me overseas to Kyrgyzstan. So no Walgreens for me and no roadside assistance. 😋 But yeah, for an urban carry in the States, no need to really carry so much on your person.
@@FittoSurvive It's okay...at least you knew what they were. I've see a lot of survival and military "experts" on here that clearly don't know what they are, and should by their age. I really like this and your other videos... And anyone that admits a mistake twice is a damn good guy in my book. Plus pronunciations can really suck.
I suggest you replace your SAK Pioneer knife with a model with a saw such as the Huntsman. Also I suggest you carry a hank of #36 bank line and a small emergency poncho.
I love the charge+ I opted out of the tti version because the pliers kinda urked me and for the price of a leatherman I'm not getting anything I don't want/ not going to use
Wow, you have a really good selection of items! I didn't know the Safetec individual packets (instant hand sanitizer, oral pain relief, etc), they have a really handy size for EDCs 😲 The only thing is that Survival tabs only have 20 cal per tab (and an adult need about 2,000 cal per day...). They give you al the vitamins/micro-nutrients you need if you eat 12 tabs per day, but with only 240 cal a day you wouldn't be able to move or think clearly (so they can't replace food... I'm saying this in case you're stockpiling this tablets at home for extended emergency situations). If you only want to have some quick calories in your EDC, I would say a energy gel (like the ones of Gu or Clif) or a energy bar would be a better option.
Rubbing a little clear silicone on the worn places will support and protect them and prevent them from spreading further. I went to my cheap shit backpack and smoothed a thick layer of bathroom silicone on all the inside stitching. Then I got a kick-arse piece of thick cardboard, covered it with white paper to give a little extra light reflection in poor light and covered that with clear self-adhesive shelf paper and stuck it down on the floor of the bag to help open it out (it was brand-new and every time I let go of it it sprang back into the shape it had been in the warehouse, lying under ten tons of other merch.) It also gave me more packing definition. Then I lubricated all the zippers with graphite and tied bright orange tassels to the zip fasteners so I knew where they were. Then I looped short little cable ties into the holes in the zip fasteners to make them easier to grab. Then I stuffed it as full as it would stuff and sat it in the hot sun for a few hours to get it to relax. Nice bag. It has LOADS of pockets.
You probably know already, but in case you didn't...Knipex have brought out the Cobra xs...smaller at 4 inches long, but I think the bite is the same or very close... and lighter in weight... I've been using them for a few days, and they seem top notch. Interesting vid....cheers 👍
Hey, I have seen the new Cobra XS. They released them like a week after I bought my Cobra 125. 😂 Are they comfortable without any rubber on the handles?
@@FittoSurvive Well, they're nicely shaped to the hand/palm... I bought them mainly for bushcraft...grabing hot stoves, and lifting hot pots and pans from the fire - fairly light duty stuff...and they're great for that. I wouldn't want to be tightening nuts and bolts all day with them though, because they do get painful if you exert a lot of force on them. I always carry a pair of leather gloves, so that negates the need for rubber grips... If I were using them frequently for tightening nuts and bolts, I'd prefer the rubber gripped Cobras. Hope that helps :) cheers 👍
I've been eye-balling the Leatherman ratchet driver for a while now, I will probably pick one up some day. The SAK usually get used when I need a fine pair of scissors or if a need a smaller blade.
Nice video Sr. I would like to do the Victorinox landyard . Could you tell me what that kind of landyard is called. Thank you very much and greetings from Mexico
It's funny how EDC has morphed from the 2 or 3 things you carry daily, to optimizing space and utility by filling your pockets with specialized things, to carrying a pouch full of anything you could conceive you might need but rarely actually use for anything, mostly survival gear for people who are almost never in situations they might need it. It's a purse. Men are finally into carrying purses full of all kinds of crazy stuff 😄 I'm into cool gear too, and have bags with useful stuff like this in my truck and house, but I wouldn't call it "EDC" unless you are literally carrying it on your person every day, which I'd never want to carry a pouch this big on a belt or even as a purse.
You make a really good point. For some people EDC covers big load outs like this, or smaller pouches in their pocket. I guess it's as varied as the people that carry them. If I haven't used an item for a few months I most likely switch it out or drop it completely.
I am curious what kind of area do you live in? Urban, small town, rural, middle of nowhere.. etc. That can drastically change the need for some edc items. I live in a major city so my edc also contains a sillcock key, needle & thread, safety pin, matches, a portable battery pack to charge my cellphone and a couple of small empty baggies for my phone in case I get caught in the rain and need to keep my phone or other valuables dry. You may want to consider adding some anti-diarrheal and some sort of antacids to your meds. Just something to think about. Excellent pack as is. Thanks for sharing.
I live in a small town. Yes, I definitely agree that your EDC changes a bit depending on where you live. In my car I have more EDC/survival gear. The baggies is a cool idea. Never though of that. 👍🏻
Nice! Do you use a shoulder strap? I see you like belt carry, but would the shoulder strap give you greater and more comfortable access? Good video...btw, the Parker Jotter is also
Agreed, the Parker Jotter is a great pen. I will take a space pen filter, as will the Zebra 701. an obscure use for a pen is as an air tube for a tracheotomy.

@@psithurism Really interesting. I may add a measuring tape to my car bag.

Please make a video on how to use the bubblegum wrapper.
I will add that to my list of videos to make.
The sliver Grippers are nice.
Thanks for those tips. Excellent advice. 👍🏻

At the 12:20 mark, I really like that lockpicking pen. Sadly it costs $60. Although overcoming one lock-out would make it seem reasonable.
It really is a convenient lock pick set. And inconspicuous.
Wow, cool EDC tool. Its like Doraemon pocket, you've got everything in your pocket. Nice video bro
Thanks a lot! 🤣👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice vid. Think about getting black camping ducttape. It takes up very little room and you can use it to patch/fix bags, wounds, shoes... very handy if you travel for work
Thank you.
Is the black camping duct tape better/different than gorilla tape?
@@FittoSurvive I think so personally, but that would be a cool comparison to do a head to head! Their is another product I got recent (haven’t tested it yet) that seems innovative called GEAR AID Tenacious Tape. I ordered the Mini Patches. It’s washable which neither of the other tapes would be from what I understand.
@@jj1395 That does sound interesting. I will have to check it out.
I would recommend adding these to your edc pouch with your pills/etc
- Tube of After Bite
- Small tube of hydrocortisone oinment
- Couple 81 mg Aspirin (You might not need it but if you have it with you, it could save someone from heart attack/stroke)
Thank you! That is excellent advice. 😎👍👍👍
Good video , will be incorporating some of your items into my kits, although not sure why you would need to take this to Walmart as if something happened you would just need to grab something off a shelf or out of first aid kit
Thanks. Yeah, true...
Lots of great stuff in here. It seems a little excessive for EVERY DAY, but I don't know your life.
Extra points for the harmonica

awesome kit. please do a video about the harmonica. we need that.
Thank you! Think people would be interested in a video just about the harmonica?
Wow, that's responsive, thanks. well, i did see your car edc vid now where you play that Christmas song. i guess some guys out there are pretty interested to learn as its a great moral booster to play some music in a situation when you and maybe others are stuck for a while. i'd be happy to add such a harmonica to my kit if i'd knew how to play on it. You got yourself another subscriber in any case.
@@thedoctor3029 You know, it is actually super easy to play. You don't need to read notes, you play by numbers. I may end up doing a video explaining how to play it.

pink gear is never a bad idea, very visible and doesn't occur often in nature
Very true. Some other people have mentioned that it is likely to be stolen too. 😅👍🏻👍🏻
Does the Survival Tab have expiration dates on it?
Yes they do. Mine says that they are good until 2044. 🤯
Stuff all looks brand new
Some of it had been recently added, but most of it has been carried a long time.
Show us the other bags! The car bag, the get home bag, the first aid kit etc. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely! They are coming soon. 👍🏻
Cheers!
Thanks!
Yeah, I got confused with "USB C rechargeable" and "UV-A and UV-C waves". 😂 Thanks for catching that though.
You had me at Mole Straps .
LOL... Yep, that was a brutal mistake of mine... 🤣
That is a lot of kit to carry when there is a Walgreens on every third corner.
Roadside emergencies will have their own kit in your vehicle
Camping/hiking/outdoor has their own,
Zombies as well, etc
Make life simple-
Swiss Army Knife, of your choice
Multi-tool
Small flashlight
Ink pen .
95% of the time all you are doing is opening a box, writing something down or lookiing under a desk for something dropped.

Awesome! I am excited to hear that.
Where did you get that lock pick set?
I bought it from www.southord.com
When do you actually use any of that stuff?
Several of the items I use quite often. Others are more for an emergency situation.
Wow, you have a really good selection of items! I didn't know the Safetec individual packets (instant hand sanitizer, oral pain relief, etc), they have a really handy size for EDCs 😲
The only thing is that Survival tabs only have 20 cal per tab (and an adult need about 2,000 cal per day...).
Hey, thanks.
Yeah, I keep some GU gel in my car bag and I have SOS rations in my Get Home Bag. One "bar" of the SOS Rations has 3,600 calories in it.
What model of maxpedition is that
It is the Maxpedition CAP amzn.to/37sCuIA
Love how he makes some of the best pocket knives out there and carries a standard victorinox.. lol 😂
Yes... It is embarrassing... 😅 Every time I make one for me, I end up selling it. I need to make me one and not show it or post anything about it. 😜
Are they comfortable without any rubber on the handles?
@@thelifeofjools8384 That makes sense! Thank you for that explanation. 👍🏻
Ahh yes stain remover pen....that's def going in the kit.

Men are finally into carrying purses full of all kinds of crazy stuff 😄
I'm into cool gear too, and have bags with useful stuff like this in my truck and house, but I wouldn't call it "EDC" unless you are literally carrying it on your person every day, which I'd never want to carry a pouch this big on a belt or even as a purse.
LOL I do see what you mean. 👍🏻 But I would prefer to call it an EDC pouch instead of a man purse. 😂😂😂
Согласен
Это сумка для выживания, а не на каждый день
You make a really good point. For some people EDC covers big load outs like this, or smaller pouches in their pocket. I guess it's as varied as the people that carry them.
If I haven't used an item for a few months I most likely switch it out or drop it completely.
Geniales video,da passt alles!!! Gruss aus Deutschland 😀👍
