It's because of you that I was able to buy the base version Mod my sticks for the first time and I'm changing the art now Love how you are in depth, aesthetics and personality Keep it up guys
You were one of the main reasons that made me fall in love with this stick! I'll probably be ordering a Nobi orange top with a purple dustwasher, maybe i'll see if i decide to change the buttons for sanwa purple/orange once it comes home and i get to test it out, cheers!
Looks like another high quality product from Hori. Love these sticks. I dont specialise in fighting games but started experimenting with the Hori RAP 3 I got cheap at a flea market and the feel was amazing. More recently I started using various modded sticks instead of a regular game pad and its gotten to the point where I play 2D shooters better with a stick now. When beating the brutal Gun.Smoke arcade , the super responsive sanwa buttons and quick, precise hayabusa stick felt so much better than a game pad, for that game. These Japanese sticks really are a great tool for a large variety of games. Out of my four modded sticks, the Hori RAP4 is my main stick for a variety of 2D games across all platforms. I use brooke adapters and a Magic S adapter to get these sticks working on other consoles. Play alot of old games through my Emulation focused PC. The RAP4 has a Seimitsu LS62 stick in it with Sanwa buttons and that extra tension on the stick feels perfect for most older, precise games like platformers and especially shooters where micro movements are very important. You can really move into position one click at a time. I have the Hayabusa stick in another modded base and its great for games that require real fast accurate movement. I dont use sticks often for fighters, but when I do the hayabusa feels great for pulling off fast specials.
Wow thank you so much for sharing that! I’m glad you are enjoying yourself with a tool that offers a variety of applications! However you decide to play- keep pressin those buttons!
Long comment: Thanks for this video. This is my first fight stick ever, as well as first fighting game that im willing to commit to, and i already put second gen sanwa silent buttons on this bad boy(four blue, four red, one yellow start button). Also thanks to you, i opted out on not getting the third gen silent sanwa joystick (cause lack of feel + feedback apparently) and ordered the same parts you did today + a 2lb spring(but instead of the bullet or bat, i got the seimetsu 39 orange bubble ball top, and pink for the phreakmod instead of purple😤) Its been six days with it, and i can finally combo into super arts but i still dont understand how pros are able to link combos into special into combo into special into supers... just crazy😂. Maybe niggas need to spend 8 hours a day in the lab no joke🥺... Also i currently live in nj, and idk maybe if i actually get pretty decent one day as this is my first legit fighting game, how does one get into locals, and tourneys without social media???

They typically implement legacy mode for the previous generations, so hopefully! We will let you know in 2030 though!
@@ButtonClubFGC are there any drawbacks to “legacy mode?”
Nope! As long as it’s a wired connection you should be good to go.
