It really does. But as we have found out the only option that matters is yours! Seats are one of them things that you really have to work to find the right one. And then add a passenger option and it’s even harder :-) Thank you for watching and commenting
I had a Saddlemen Touring seat and switched to the Mustang Super Deluxe Touring 2-Up. This is an amazing seat! I did 15.5k miles on this seat and could easily do 500 mile days consistently.
Hi Bry! Dominic here from Canada. I’m a bit confused when I look at the specs for those mustang seats… do you know if a harley quick release passenger back rest still fits with that mustang seat? Thanks
We thought the Hammock was great at first but once we upgraded the shocks it made you feeling like you where bouncing up and down all the time. The Mustang is such a great upgrade from the hammock and we can ride longer with it.
i know this is an older video and may not get a response , but if you see this i have a question on height of the seat compared to a stock harley seat. i am not tall at 5'9" but did like the harley seat on my 22 Road Glide Limited only because i could flat foot at stops and have a little bend of my knee. I ordered a Ultimate seat for more comfort and unfortately had to return because it sat so much higher than the stock harley seat. it was comfortable to sit on, but it raised me so much i no longer felt like i was riding in the "pocket" so to speak. I was feeling that i was sitting way too high and it just didn't feel natural. how does this seat compare?
We had the Harley Hammock seat and I feel the same way as you did it sat me up way to hight. This seat sits me low and gests me off the stank which is something I never careed for with the HD seats.
I purchased the Mustang wide touring seat with backrest for my 2023 Harley ultra limited 120 th Anniversary bike. I can honestly say I do not notice any difference from the original equipment Harley seat that came on the bike !!
I just picked up a very “Gently” used Mustang Heated Standard Touring seat. When I say gently I mean gently. Guy had less than 100 miles on it. Super excited about it and especially the deal I got. He just wanted it out of his garage. $1K new and I got it for $400!!!! Ive had it on a day or so and coming off a 5 year old stock seat boy it’s AWESOME!!!! Glad to see someone Im familiar with so pleased with Mustang! Makes me feel better about the purchase. Great review!
I got Saddlemen Seats for my bike. I got 2 different ones for 2 different modes of my bike, a solo seat that bolts in like a 2 person seat, and a big wide touring seat. Easy to swap between both in front of my apartment and take the other back inside. It really love the seat options from Saddlemen. Both are great, but I've been maybe looking at that mustang wide tripper 2 up seat for my bike. Wondering how it compares to my explorer RS seat. Been really hard finding reviews for seats that revolve around the softails.
I have the same seat. It’s ok, but I still use my air hawk for long rides. When I say long rides, I do 700-1000miles in a day sometimes. I get “hot spots” with this seat. It just seems a little too hard for me. I know they say hard is good, but I’ve ridden with gel seats and I am more comfortable with those on the long rides. I do like the quality and the back rest design though….just wish it was slightly softer. I have over 15,000 miles on mine.

I like the way my hammock seat feels better than the mustang. It seems to cup me better and have more contact area that you’re sitting on. That being said I give the nod to my mustang super touring deluxe for hurting less on 500 mile days.
You can’t beat Mustang Seats in my book! I have their wide touring seat that is two piece with drivers back rest on my 2009 and it is just the best! Back then it was close to $1000 but lucky for me it was already on the bike! Also I dig the Dixxon! I just got that same shirt for Christmas, and already have two more on the way! They are addictive!
Nice love when you buy a bike with extra stuff on it. Mine had a bunch of cool add on stuff. I now have 8 Dixxons and I'm not sure I can stop. Thanks for taken the time to watch and comment.
I run the same seat. I like it and my SO loves it. Had a deluxe on my softail as well. They both held up well and look great. I also run the deluxe saddlebag covers.

awesome super deluxe i have back problems sever arthritis in my back i was having sever upper thigh pain in the groin, On my saddleman road sofa. i couldn't ride at all. I then bought a Mustang Super deluxe it's wider 19, with the drivers back rest,i placed it on went for a putt no upper thigh pain in the groin ! For elderly people need a seat like this do to bad hips sever arthritis bad lower back. well worth the gold line value mustang super delux !

I got the bike used and they where on there when I got it.
Those are great seats, I dont have one, But I have a bike on the lift with that seat. It is comfortable.
For us it’s been a great upgrade.

Depends on which mustang seat you get. Some can use the hd backrest some can only use the mustang backrest
It will I can run a king tour pack or sissy bar with no issue.

That’s what we have found. It’s hard to find the right seat for you but when you do it’s worth it.
loved this seat when I had apes on my Road king. I recently put T bars on and now the seat is uncomfortable... I am about to switch it back
Bars really change the seat position a lot. Took some adjustment to get it to fit right for the seat on my road glide

I'm looking at that very seat. BUT, I want to know how tall you are. I'm about 5'7"-5'8" tall. I want the best fit I can find.

Seats are so hard to find the right one. The Hammock made me feel like I was floating really bad one I put the legends on.

Everyone I know that has gotten this seat was amazing at just how much longer they could ride and with les pain.

I am 6'2 and there is a HUGE difference vs stock as far as how much further you are sitting back.
