As a mechanical design engineer working in a million sqft manufacturing facility where everything is mostly automated. It is cool to see stuff kind of hand made still. Also cool watching this as I wait for my seat to come in. Had one on my 98 dyna and had to have one on my new to me 15 dyna

Bought Saddleman Explorer, don't think I have 500 miles yet. Very comfortable. Been on day rides for several times. Counting the days for first rode trip. Wouldn't trade it for another seat , came with a driver back rest. Excellent product.

Best seat i ever had my diamond stitch step up. It was ripping in stitching a year n a half ago i reached out and they sent me a new one when i sent mine back. They really honored the warranty
Saddlemen Seats are #1. I have one for my 01' Heritage and another for my 22' Road King. These are ride all day seats.
I ordered directly from Saddlemen and although the process took a few weeks, once they started on my order, I received steady updates every day or two until it shipped. My FXLRST looks DOPE with my brown Step Up and matching sissy bar pad. All of my future bikes will have Saddlemen seats.

Back rest is great addition when riding solo.
I just got a saddleman on my Harley and I am very impressed with fit finish and comfort level. They have some great workmanship with the leather and that is evident the moment you take it out if the box.
I put a Saddlemen King seat on my bike a couple of months ago and it's hands down the best moto seat I've ever felt. Love it.

Biggest mistake I have made was replacing my old torn Road Zeppelin with a Saddleman Road Sofa. I’m convinced Saddleman just pays for reviews - the seat is worse than stock - for real. And yes I’ve had the stupid thing for thousands of miles.
I have a Roadsofa CF with a backrest, and I love it.
My sdc took like 10.000 miles to break in.
@@huibertdegraaf9622 man - that’s completely unacceptable. The road zeppelin takes zero miles and is insanely comfortable. I hate making that $900 mistake.

I recently got my custom ordered Saddlemen step up, brown with the tuck and roll on the front and stitched in the back in wineberry thread, gel all around. It felt amazing from the first day - I don't get people who say there is a long break in period. The seat has changed the game for me. I got regular updates from the factory of the steps my seat was in and it was super cool to follow it. Thanks for showing factory Blockhead - this is a great video!

We needed a 2 up seat for our 78 FLH and Saddleman was able to fix us up, not bad considering the age of the bike.
So cool to see the factory! I’m picking up my first ever saddlemen saddle tomorrow, can’t wait to rack up some miles. Appreciate you taking us for a tour of the premises.
I absolutely LOVE my Saddlemen Road Sofa. I will never have any other brand seat on my bike and this video alone makes me love them even more :D

LOVE the Saddlemen brand and product! I’ve purchased 3 in the past 2yrs (Chieftain, Challenger, and TriGlide) and absolutely love them! So much better than stock and the longer rides are amazing!

Good to know they have humans responding to questions. I have a step up on my street bob and have an issue with the panel crinkling on the right thigh area. I’ll get in touch with them.
Buster is a wicked cool guy, I've dealt with him for quite a while now and Saddlemen is always my first and only choice on my bikes
I will say one thing, Saddlemen seats has a great marketing strategy.

Awesome! Love Saddleman! Put a road sofa heated seat on my 19 Chieftain Black Horse. What a difference it has made on my touring. We ride 10-12!hours a day and I don’t feel crippled at the end of the day. Got some Saddleman luggage as well. Great video, totally understand why photos and videos are limited there, however just seeing what you could film was great.
Live in No Cal, been using Corbin custom seats since 1984, nothing like a ride in Custom fitted seat.

I have an industrial yellow and black street glide special. My next thing I’m buying is a saddlemen seat. Just hope the gold color stitch is close to my yellow.
I have a Saddleman seat on my Breakout for over 7 years now. A very good seat.
What model year is your Breakout? I also have a Breakout and would love to get a new seat. Mine is a 2016.
@@harlyrydr7820 , 2017 Breakout . I replaced the Harley seat around 2500 miles it felt like sitting on a board. The saddleman 's seat very comfortable .I can ride all day now.

I put a Saddlemen Road Sofa on my Road Glide because the factory seat pushed into my tail too much and there was no cushion for my wife. Mine needed no break in period, it was great from day one. The factory seat does set you into the bike where the road sofa sets you on the bike. I prefer to set on the bike myself. It helped me sit up straighter with the backrest and it also set me up a little higher. I will buy from Saddlemen again if I ever need a new seat.
I love the ride on my Saddleman. I do get tired of hearing dudes say “nice seat” it creates huge misunderstandings 😂
Saddleman seat has been best thing I have ever done for my motorcycle. Had a Mustang and it put me in physical therapy for syatica. I literally ride 20k+ a year and would never take seat advice from weekend warriors. Perhaps I'd take it for the 15K a year riders. I ride 3 hours straight Ultra Limited and get off bike feeling like I have not even been riding. Amazing!

I’ve got the RoadSofa, and for the first 1,200 miles I hated it. Then it got broken in, and now I love it! It survived my accident last year and my daughter drove 180 miles to swap out the stock seat to rescue my Saddleman! (the ultra was toasted)

Even Harley has some good seat offers that look better than Saddlemen to me. Saddlemen has the customisation option as an edge.

Kudos to saddlemen to making seats here in the US and even bigger in Cali! But man I rode my buddies FXLRS and the saddlemen seat was way too hard where my stock FXLRST stock seat is just right for now. I'm still looking into a new seat, so I can bring the wife. Any suggestions?
Saddlemen makes seats in various stiffness. One reason they hold up so long is it’s tough, but some Harley dealers have them for a test ride. Don’t know if this helps.
Of the forty one thousand + views on this video in five days, I would guess that many would be purchasing a new seat soon.

All I ask of you saddlemen. Fix the sportster step up! Its unnecessarily thin, and very very hard. I was incredibly disappointed how uncomfortable it was compared to any of the touring and dyna, softail offerings. I switched to a mustang fastback and it's AWESOME so I know it can be done.

I have an update and review after riding 544 miles from Northern Ohio down to N.Myrtle Beach for Spring bike week,I was really hoping for a comfortable ride but what I got was kinda disappointing,very uncomfortable on the long haul,going back to stock seat when I get back home

I love watching the process, and seeing USA made, but after 40,000km on a road sofa I went back to a Harley tall boy seat.
I hate the road sofa - stock seat is way better.

First off, thanks, blockhead for the in depth vid!! Saddleman is my favorite seat. I run the sdc gripper it's awesome for aggressive riding, and it's comfy for me and a passenger. Secondly, block, I gotta say it again u seem super happy with your girl!!! I hope it continues and your life is blessed with happiness and success because u do so much for the community and the people around you!!! A while ago, u made a video where you pretty burnt out, and even before that, it showed u were being stretched very thin to do all that you do. Now it seems u got a fire under you're ass again, and u are happy and pumping out content. Keep it up, brother!!! RS-SV!!!

I have a Saddlemen road sofa and love it. I am confused why they restricted some of those things because they have let folks film some of it before and I watched it before I made my decision to buy. Shrug
