Pongal Festival 2024 in Little India || Walking Singapore

Take a walk with us as we pay a visit to Little India during the celebrations for the Pongal Festival 2024 in Singapore. Enjoy the vibrant colours of the Pongal Festival street light up and soak in the festive spirit that comes alive during the auspicious harvest festival.
Along the way, we learn more about the festival and we will also pass by the Indian Heritage Centre in the evening where it is all lit up.
We stop by the POLI @ Clive Street site where there is a cattle farm and stage activities going on, and then weave our way through the streets of Singapore's Little India for a look at the activities taking place.

the colourful pongal light decorations along serangoon road remind me of the deepavali one during my visit to singapore last novemeber. i remember that the campbell lane leading to the indian heritage centre was so packed with stalls and crowds during the deepavali period. i guess that there will be a free entrance into the indian heritage centre building in conjunction with the pongal open house, just like the deepavali open house. you can make another video of a thaipusam festival held in singapore.
