To my wife for 33 years this was one my song to you and now you have passed you left me on April 4th 2022 the day my world stopped spinning you was my heart my soul my everything when we met March 26th 1989 that was the day i was completed we became one ...i am so lost without you ....One day my time will come and i will search the universe for you (I Love You Kim) until then ....{I'll will never let you go} to whomever reads this if you have someone special in your life HOLD THEM, LOVE THEM, LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW BECAUSE THERE MAY NOT BE A TOMORROW ....Friday April , 15th 2022 @12:16 pm
Im sorry for your loss! All of these 80's songs are timelines and crush me since my Dad passed in 2007.. Its like a happy sad. They are hard to get thru without crying! If we stop listening then the music dies too though. We cant let that happen. Keep singing and i'm grateful they are ava here on youtube!!!
I'm 50 yrs old, twice divorced, and two dodgy knees. Listening to this on my Rotel/Paradigm sound system while on my 4th glass of Mudhouse Sav Blanc....life's ok for tonight.
People don't realize, Cinderella could fucking play man. Everyone of them are master musicians, some like Tom are multi instrument musicians. Incredible talent.
I cant get the words to describe the 1980''s being a teenager and being a rock fan. Words wont do justice to the vibe. A golden decade. Beautiful memories. Great rock bands, great teenage movies(Outsiders,Lost Boys,Breakfast Club,St Elmos Fire,Youngblood etc). Hand on heart I cant believe how the time has gone by. Forgive me for using a cliche but you had to be there and thank God we were.
This was my mom's all-time favourite song. She died of a brain aneurysm today two years ago. This song will always be played to honor her memory. Rest In Peace mom.
August 2024, who's still listening? This is the best song by Cinderella. So underrated! Lyrics: I took a walk down a road it's the road I was meant to stay I see the fire in your eyes but a man's gott make his way So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm comin home, I'm comin home I took a ride in a world I'll be spinnin for the rest of my life I feel your heart beating baby Ooh sometimes it cuts like a knife So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm comin home, I'm comin home I'm coming home where your love tonight can shine on me I'm coming home where your loving arms can set me free I took a walk down a road it's the road I was meant to stay I see the fire in your eyes but a man's gotta make his way So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm comin home, I'm comin homet
The lead singer is still creating decent music. I still prefer these older songs, but his new stuff is okay. If you were into Cinderella's harder songs than go listen to DEATH OF ME by the lead singer.
After Tom had all those Vocal Chord surgeries his voice was gone, what shitty luck at the height of their careers.. They were good, only getting better
Cinderella hard rock-blues metal band is on Hiatus since the band last album together "Still Climbing" in (1994) great album too and powerful rock ballads as well but U think it was released in a wrong time. But the band former frontman singer-songwriter musician, composer and producer Carl Thomas Keifer (Tom) still rocking, touring and singing our favorite Cinderella songs and hit songs too from his new second solo album "RISE" and new band The #Keiferband and let me tell you something Tom Keifer who was born Carl Thomas Keifer still sounds so cool after his seven vocal cords surgeries and a paralysis or paresis in his left chord vocal cord. I absolutely love Tom's raspy blues vocals. However I would love to hear Tom sing a full song with the soft vocals he has for the intro. His soft voice was beautiful too and very heartfelt.
I was 13 when Shake Me hit the radio waves. Mom wouldn’t let me go see Cinderella because they were opening for David Lee Roth, and he wore chaps lol!! Skip forward a decade, and I finally got to see my favorite band at a little venue in my hometown. I worked my way to the front and hugged Jeff’s leg, looking up and telling him I love you!! He smiled such a genuine smile, mouthed back I love you, too, and when Shake Me started he dropped his pick in my hand. He aimed to make sure I got it. Thank you, Sir. I hope you’re jamming wherever you are now. R.I.P.
The bands in that era were extremely special. Unique and distinct voices we may never get to hear again. Its just a shame they all popped up at once and it was hard picking and choosing who to like. I doubt we will ever see that plethora of talented bands/voices in the future of bands going forward.
Well said andi totally agree. Bands like Warrant,White Lion,Winger,Kix and Stryper were also underrated. Most rock bands at the time seemed to be overshadowed by the likes of Bon Jovi,Guns 'N' Roses etc. Those guys at great too. Check out Cinderella at the Moscow Peace Festival in 1989. They were awesome. I am currently listening to all the great rock bands( I hate the term "Hair Metal) of the 1980's and going down memory lane to when I was a teenager and hand on heart it seems the 1980's were just yesterday. Where did the time go? The 1980's was the best decade ever. It is difficult to put into words. Great movies from the time also. Great vibe. I suppose you had to be there and thank God we were.
Those days and that music is long gone nothing left but giza boo jungle garbage. Young people are missing so much and too ignorant to realize it. The 80's and 90's was a good time to be alive and young!!!
Absolutely freakin amazing! One of the greatest bands of all time that never received the credit that they deserved.. listen to that sound.. that voice.. the pitch is breathtaking!!
Carmine Allocca Awe Really? What kind of music? My son,the Marine is in a band South Harbour and he's the drummer but it's really thrash metal, but I like it.Usually I don't get into that music, but you can check him out on my channel, under my playlist...it'lll say Studio...something...South Harbour band and they are interviewing John. They've cut a cd or 2 but he's busy with college and plays when he can.I was a drummer too and took lessons from Paul Riddle of MTB(drummer)and I bought John a beautiful double bass black Pearl drum set complete with Zildjian cymbals and some Paiste ones too.We jam on it here lol. I'd LOVE to hear your music!!!!!!
janet johnson We were mostly AOR Rock, sorta pop, you know, 80's Hair Band!! :P We were called "Preview", which in retrospect, was a BAD name, because it's SO generic, *I* can't even find anything online.... I was the lead singer/keyboards/songwriter. Had to ship out to Iraq in 1990, and that put an end to that.
One of the most musically talented of all the Hair bands. Tom has one of the most distinctive voices of all time. Like Boston, You know instantly when a Cinderella tune is on the radio.
They were discovered by bonjovi, they unfortunately had a falling out between the two bands. I love these kinds of guys/ singers that can pull off the raspy voice.
Cinderella - Coming home - Viniendo a casa (English Lyrics) I took a walk down a road It's the road I was meant to stay I'd see the fire in your eyes But a man's got to make his way So are you tough enough for my love? Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I took a ride in a world I'll be spinning for the rest of my life I feel your heart beating baby Oh, sometimes it cuts like a knife So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I'm coming home where your love tonight Can shine on me I'm coming home where your loving arms Can set me free I took a walk down a road It's the road I was meant to stay I'd see the fire in your eyes But a man's got to make his way So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I'm coming home, oh yes I'm on my way, oh yeah I'm coming home, I'm coming home Here we go I'm on my way, come on baby, come on Let your love shine on me Shine on, shine on, shine on me Shine on, shine on, shine on me
And his music is always a positive one no dark negative messages in their songs like other bands. Cinderella is simply the best hard rock band in music History.
Love Tom Keifer and Cinderella, one of best bands ever! Live they were incredibly talented and kicked ass, blew other bands away!! Oh how I wish we could go back to 80s & early 90s when they Rocked the block & were so hot & sexy doing it!! Thx for the awesome music and memories guys, will always love you all. Should be in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!
Who else thinks that Cinderella should be with the mega concert that has Motley crue, Def leppard, and Poison instead of Joan Jett? Cinderella is so awesome.
This band did not receive the recognition they deserved in the 80's. Very talented and Tom Keifer has a unique voice. Just good tunes and they played the sh*t out of the the 80's. Love it.
Great comment. An amazing debut album…then followed up with another great record where they really explored their influences. Heartbreak Station is another really good record…and Still Climbing, their 4th and final album, is just as underrated as the the band themselves. Yeah…they’re one of my all time favorite bands.
Some of my friends and I would be blasting it in the halls of our junior high and high school on the boom box that we would carry around . Our principal would always be yelling to turn it down. He finally gave up. 😂 Then started dressing like us. It was awesome . Loved the 80s.
@@judymcallister5523 Great story! I listen to that music…from the 80’s, 90’s….and it just brings a smile to my face. High School….my favorite music….what a time!!!
Long Cold Winter. What a great album that was! So so so much better than what most of the other "hair-bands" managed. Cinderella was and will always be pure blues / rock n roll and should have their own place in music history.
Me too! The melody is PRETTY and mixing the melody here with hard-edged rock guitars works so well, the song is a big release for me, especially when I play along on my piano. It's in G major in case you play along. Peace! Thank you for your comment. It fits me perfectly!
Totally agreed. The "Critics" may have just seen their look and laughed them off. Songs like "I'm Coming Home" are no laughing matter. Highly emotional and a rock classic!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree hell seen them when I was like 14 or 15 with a beautiful burnette ....Nelson opened for em ....wtf I think Nelson had 1 song on the radio man that was many many moons ago
Been listening to cinderella since the late 80s....now almost 30 years on, this song still sound fresh and amazing...never tired listening to this song.....glad i was able to experience the 80s growing up...
Never forget the people behind the music as we age, this was long ago but now as they age they may not sound the same but we still love them as if nothing has changed. Thanks Tom !!!
Cinderella was different than all the other big hair bands of the 1980s. The other bands had one or two really great hits on their albums that made the radio and MTV, but the rest of the songs on their albums were not worth listening too. You only played those one or two songs all the time, and skipped through the rest. Cinderella's albums may not have had any really big hits, but their entire albums were filled with very excellent songs. All of them. You listened all the way through.
Even with the success that the band had back in the late 80's, Cinderella were still always an underrated band. Great musicians, who produced great albums.
I’m 51 and I’ve seen Cinderella over 10 times and met them all but Tom. He’s an elusive guy lol. All great guys though. They never disappointed. Tom is still out there playing and sounding as great as he always has. Super talented dude
Hallo 🆘 Mother and Father of all creation are here in physical flesh showing the way to healing it's been an ardous journey reaching you with a message, please phone home today to meet mama papa, wake up! 🎉
I would love to go back to the 80$ but I won't have my nieces and nephews or haven't experienced 12 half years of marriage she passed away mom's pops lil bro bring back alot of this memories
I was 13 when I started listening to Cinderella, and today this day I think Tom Kiefer is one of the best singers ever. His deep, smokey, raspy Blues voice is so unique.
these guys were so cool...when their bus pulled into the Richfield Coliseum, OH back in '91 they stopped the bus and greeted us in the parking lot! They were excited to play here, not going thru the motions like KISS or Whitesnake at the time.....Cinderella was all about performing and not being a corporation as most bands did!
I saw these fellas back in 85/86ish when they opened for Bon Jovi..They blew Jovi away. People were buying Cinderella albums & t shirts after that show..Great band.
Most certainly a brilliant band.It was actually Jon Bon Jovi who discovered Cinderella in a pub playing a gig, and that's how it all started for them in the big time.
+Hagfan789 I saw them opening for Bon Jovi "Slipper when wet" tour.....Bon jovi's voice was cracking half the concert...cinderella blew them out of the water for the concert....
Krommer1000 It was my first concert as well. I caught them in Milwaukee in....86 I believe. We camped out over night to get good tickets..Dam near froze to death.lol
Wow! One of my faves by Cinderella. A perfect time for music. I celebrate the "hair-band" era... to my last breath. '81-'91... will never happen again.
I took a ride in a world I'll be spinnin' for the rest of my life I feel your heart beatin' baby Oooh sometimes it cuts like a knife.....Thank You Tom Keifer...Your Words will be spinnin in my world for the rest of my Life
One of my favorite concerts was Cinderella headlining, Skid Row bring up the middle, and LA Guns Opening at the Bay City, Mi River Roar! They were so Fn great. And I’ve seen the best of the best from the 70s,80’s, and early to mid 90’s. And that concert is in my top 5 for sure. Best Blues Rick Band

Congratulations for Tom Keifer and his new band The #KeiferBand" because his first solo Album "RISE" is now in the Billboard in the top 10 most sales new Albums in 2020. This Tom's keifer new Album "RISE" was acclaimed last year in October by music critics in hard rock blues category and Tom keifer sounds so cool in this new Album after his seven vocals cords surgeries and a paralysis in his left vocal chord cord. The whole "RISE" Album is incredibly and so Amazing. Thank you Tom keifer for still making good music.
Slash USA/I hope that too Slash because today's music, well if you can call that Crap music it just pure Trash. Nothing like the 80's/90's in Rock music! Hey nice comment. 👍 👍 👍
@@suzanjournagan1112/Former "Cinderella" Frontman singer-songwriter musician, composer and producer Carl Thomas Keifer (Tom) postponed the rest of his first solo tour "RISE for now, here in his country our country (United States) and other countries like England, Russia and Germany because the new pandemic of the coronavirus or covid-19. They say until July but Tom Keifer and his new band There #KeiferBand can cancel the rest of this "RISE" tour for 2021 if this situation with this new virus still causing problems and deaths. P.s. First time I've ever heard Cinderella I was 17 years old in high school I have been hooked ever since then and I am 57 year old today everybody appreciates their generation but there is no generation like the 80s and they would never be another one like it ❤

Always resented people calling Cinderella a hair band. Yeah, they had big hair. But they were a GREAT blues based hard rock band. Criminally underrated. And for the love of God and everything that is holy-PLEASE don't compare them to Poison.
That's right, dude. Forget the hair thing......listen to the music, all you rock critics!!!! This is hard rock/blues but pretty at the same time. I love it and I'm 71 years of age. This song soars above the clouds.
Que temazo, que grupo, que recuerdos. Pienso que los Ochenteros fuimos bendecidos al ser contemporáneos de estos verdaderos Maestros. Esta música no morirá nunca, son eternos clásicos.
One of the best bands from the 80's - saw Tom Kiefer at the the Pro Football HOF fame festival in Canton, Ohio a few years ago and was amazing - so talented played several instruments and vocals sounded great!

I don't know about the other bands of this music genre but this particular band group is quite unique. Their songs have deeper meanings.
Gosh I miss jamming to these awesome guys!!!!! The 80's freakin ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY SURE DID!! I had a band from 1981-87, cut a record, and NOBODY heard of us!! :P
Fantastic Decade!
We were called "Preview", which in retrospect, was a BAD name, because it's SO generic, *I* can't even find anything online....
I was the lead singer/keyboards/songwriter.
Had to ship out to Iraq in 1990, and that put an end to that.
I'll try to figure out how to get you a MP3 or two!
I'm GLAD we digitized our album! We cut it in 1983. Vinyl. :O
janet johnson SWEET drum kit!!!
I was shocked to find out that the KORG N-1 I played is STILL relevant, updated of course.
Who else is here after hearing the news of Jeff's passing today? OMG, I'm in tears and absolutely stunned!
Me...
:(
Here. I've listened to Cinderella all day, now sharing some vids
Me. Loved this band as a kid. Sad to watch them go!!!!
Me 🥺
I was born in 1996, but I’m glad my dad grew up listening to music like this because he always recommends these songs to me
I was a teenager in the 80s and I'm now 56, I introduced the 80s music to my kids and they love it.
I was 26 then I'm now 51and still rock out too this group I blast this on my car radio when I'm coming home from work with my windows rolled down
I make me feel so old 😂 my son's also 24
Same
The real hard rock era ...great bands and real life...all it was better than today in a virtual society
Still listening in august 2024 and for sure my whole life!
One of the most musically talented of all the Hair bands. Tom has one of the most distinctive voices of all time. Like Boston, You know instantly when a Cinderella tune is on the radio.
Z
Great point nobody could copy them they were years ahead of other's Tom was a true entertainer well still is he and his wife still sing gigs
They were discovered by bonjovi, they unfortunately had a falling out between the two bands. I love these kinds of guys/ singers that can pull off the raspy voice.
Yeah u know when a Cinderella song starts...you know a Boston tune. Every band back then had a distinctive sound
@@wesloroff646 i like the raspy voice sound.bluesy rock. He pulls it off well.
I'm 54 and and I like to jam to Cinderella / martin slape
Amazing voice, Nobody with that talent to write songs and sing like our Tom keifer.
Cinderella will be always in my heart. Of all the long-haired bands of the 90s, they always made their songs sound like an eternal anthem.
💔💔💔you will never be forgotten Jeff LaBar
RIP angel 🤧😭❤️
Cinderella - Coming home - Viniendo a casa (English Lyrics)
I took a walk down a road
It's the road I was meant to stay
I'd see the fire in your eyes
But a man's got to make his way
So are you tough enough for my love?
Just close your eyes to the heaven above
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
I took a ride in a world
I'll be spinning for the rest of my life
I feel your heart beating baby
Oh, sometimes it cuts like a knife
So are you tough enough for my love
Just close your eyes to the heaven above
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
I'm coming home where your love tonight
Can shine on me
I'm coming home where your loving arms
Can set me free
I took a walk down a road
It's the road I was meant to stay
I'd see the fire in your eyes
But a man's got to make his way
So are you tough enough for my love
Just close your eyes to the heaven above
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
I'm coming home, oh yes
I'm on my way, oh yeah
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Here we go
I'm on my way, come on baby, come on
Let your love shine on me
Shine on, shine on, shine on me
Shine on, shine on, shine on me
Tom Keifer is absolutely awesome
Yapp and still are, 👍👍👍
Carl Thomas Keifer (Tom) is an extraordinary authentic rock star his so unique.
The best. Most talented. Thank god for his musical contributions.
YES!!!!
Absolutely
Cinderella is a cut above them...I'm my opinion
I would love to see Cinderella, Ratt, and skid row.
@@tammysmith7567 yeah you are right love some Cinderella.
Made me smile
Yeah man and another one I feel like didn't get the recognition they deserved was Skid Row
Tommy’s voice is pure silk with just the right amount of grit. Brilliant.
I was fortunate to see Tom and his band last month in concert! So glad I did. He still rocks!!! Cinderella will always be my favorite!
@@stephanieterry741 Nice! I saw them a few years ago with the Scorpions. Jeff was still alive and they totally rocked!! What a great show!!
Long Cold Winter. What a great album that was! So so so much better than what most of the other "hair-bands" managed. Cinderella was and will always be pure blues / rock n roll and should have their own place in music history.
+reddkross1977 true statement
Me too! The melody is PRETTY and mixing the melody here with hard-edged rock guitars works so well, the song is a big release for me, especially when I play along on my piano. It's in G major in case you play along. Peace! Thank you for your comment. It fits me perfectly!
Extremely underrated! This band doesn't get the credit they deserve!
Love this song .hits me right in the heart!
The song builds to a crescendo. The structure and melody are fantastic. This is a masterpiece.
Happy Thanksgiving still listening 11-28-2024.This should have 1 million views come on America true Rockers!
RIP JEFF, THANKS FOR ALL THE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC MASTER!
Never forget the people behind the music as we age, this was long ago but now as they age they may not sound the same but we still love them as if nothing has changed. Thanks Tom !!!
No matter how many times i listen to this song, i never get bored of it.. It's so nostalgic and reviving... 😳
Aleirhk Metha listening to it today❤️ I'll never get tired of it.
I feel the same way.
@@kirsteno8526 2 years later, i stand by my comment.. 😂😂 i forgot i had commented on this. Scrolled down to find it again.. haha
Aleirhk Chain I listen to Hair Nation and Ozzys Boneyard on Sirius XM. It's nice to hear the music I grew up loving 😊🤘🏻
@@kirsteno8526 Indeed.. I'm binge listening to every song of the 80s rock bands that pops up... Just got by Harem Scarem's How long.... 😆
I love this band. I always have. I always will. 80's FOREVER.!!!!!!
Me too.... Mr Savage
@@williamcaudill3842 i was in high school when this came out. Started learning to smoke at this point. Those were the times..
Even with the success that the band had back in the late 80's, Cinderella were still always an underrated band. Great musicians, who produced great albums.

I was 13 when I started listening to Cinderella, and today this day I think Tom Kiefer is one of the best singers ever. His deep, smokey, raspy Blues voice is so unique.
Such sad news to hear about jeff's passing! Rest in peace and thank you for the music.
I saw Cinderella the first time when they opened for Bon Jovi. They stole that show!!!

I will Forever Love The 80'S it was the best time to be alive....I was born in 1972
these guys were so cool...when their bus pulled into the Richfield Coliseum, OH back in '91 they stopped the bus and greeted us in the parking lot! They were excited to play here, not going thru the motions like KISS or Whitesnake at the time.....Cinderella was all about performing and not being a corporation as most bands did!
they showed up at a bar in Syracuse called "the lost horizon" back in 1988 and play til 3am, best concert ever.
tom keifer is an anazing vlues guitarist. hes just never allowed to show his ability.
I know cindderlla they r very cool!!!! Love tom kiefer !!!! Reply ok thanks

YEAH SCREW BON JOVI! Im getting Cinderella stuff. lol
+Hagfan789 I saw them opening for Bon Jovi "Slipper when wet" tour.....Bon jovi's voice was cracking half the concert...cinderella blew them out of the water for the concert....
+Hagfan789 Yup. I saw the same tour. It was actually the first concert I ever went to, and couldn't agree more.
Krommer1000 It was my first concert as well. I caught them in Milwaukee in....86 I believe. We camped out over night to get good tickets..Dam near froze to death.lol

Always resented people calling Cinderella a hair band. Yeah, they had big hair. But they were a GREAT blues based hard rock band. Criminally underrated. And for the love of God and everything that is holy-PLEASE don't compare them to Poison.
Boudica X oh hell NO !! poison with all do respect they kinda sucked.
Agree. I never understood how Poison was ever popular. My wife loves Poison so I get to talk shit whenever she plays them around me
Great band! Good times!
That's right, dude. Forget the hair thing......listen to the music, all you rock critics!!!! This is hard rock/blues but pretty at the same time. I love it and I'm 71 years of age. This song soars above the clouds.
Couldn't disagree more about Poison. Their Flesh and Blood album is fuckin awesome.
Que temazo, que grupo, que recuerdos. Pienso que los Ochenteros fuimos bendecidos al ser contemporáneos de estos verdaderos Maestros. Esta música no morirá nunca, son eternos clásicos.
