So true
I agree
Thomas DeLaRosa never said better words like that *_*
Right I agree
***** Funny, I was born in the 90's and you could say that the current decade is "my generation's music" - but I'm not interested in it at all.
Anyone still listening to this in 2024??
❤❤❤ Я
FOREVER LISTENING TO THIS SONG, UNTIL I'M NO LONGER LIVING. CINDERELLA ! 🔥
It just came into my mind after having a conversation with my daughter, about what he’s singing about.

Me too brooo

YES EXACTLY
The guitarist you see in this video is Jeffrey Philip LaBar born on March 18, 1963, Darby, PA.. Took flight on July 14, 2021..
Let's remember all the joy Jeff brought us through his guitar playing.
We miss you Jeffrey Philip .... Rock In Peace..
I still have one of his picks from a show in 95. RIP
Well said, I think they opened for Bon Jovi in my island of Puerto Rico can't recall the exact year probably 86,87. Time flies but this song still holds up great, rest easy Jeff..🙏

Awesome song and brings back better times in life 😊
Don't know why this song is unknown for a whole lot of people, to me is one of the best rock ballads ever 🤟
It is definitely not unknown to the wise. It’s a classic and those that don’t know will learn. It is a a great ballad and I love that they stood up for freedom of speech.
Well said, i meet him the last day for an hour and a half.
I know...love this song. It is like saying Bird was just a basketball player
❤ now this is music to the ears I just love all my older rock and roll and some rhythm and blues and just a little bit of country music but all in all I will choose rock and roll classic anytime to anything else ❤
It’s the only song I remember from the “power ballads” cd commercial 😂
Today is my birthday. I just turned 54 years old. I wanted to give myself a very special gift so I chose to listen to this tremendous and unique romantic song inspired by one of my favorite rock bands, Cinderella. Perfectly splendid!🎂💕😘🎶

Of all the times we could have been born I will be forever grateful to have been a teenager of the 80's!
I'm 58 years old/Young and I'm very thankful to be part of a chosen generation that has had the privilege to hear what music actually sounds like when placed into the right hands!
I thank Cinderella and all the bands that gave us their time and their talent to make this happen!
Please share this music with the younger generations so that they don't miss out on what we've had all along!
Thank you, and as we've always said, turn it up and rock and roll!!

One of the most underrated songs of any genre or style. Such a touching and real song. When this came out I loved it and Cinderella also. Now at 52 I truly understand, you don’t know what you got till it’s gone,as most of us do. Keep on living and rocking my friends.🙂

Cinderella was a mid level hair band from the 80s, but no lead singer from the 2000's can top Tom's voice. Absolutely incredible.
Cinderella was the Best, top-notch, mid-level!!! Tom is the MAN!!
I had the pleasure of being acquainted with Mr. Jeff LaBar during our time as line cooks in a Nashville restaurant, towards the end of his life. As a young man who didn't grow up in the 80s, I loved music of all kinds, but 80s rock had a special place in my heart. It was surreal to work alongside a real-life rockstar, and hearing his stories from life on the road was unforgettable. Rest in peace, bro!
I was there also. Was a prep cook at claim jumper. Met Jeff and thought he was a really down to earth guy. Didn't have a big ego and was easy to talk to.
Who else is going through their favorite jams thinking about life back in the days? Please tell me I'm not the only one.
Not the only one.
Ur nt the only one....

Ditto !
You are not the only one, never get tired of it
Wow this 49 year old suddenly is 19 again.I Lived/Loved the 80's
Daddy B lucky. I missed out on what I think is the best decade. Born 30 years too late.
Daddy B I'm 18 and I grew up to this music
The guitar 🎸 solo is amazing 👏 as well as the vocals 🙌!!!
one of the best rock ballad ever...what an heartbrake...
I never figured that if I had children while married that one would pass away at an early age (19). My son was good and I miss him and when I see his picture on my wall now the tears just come like the Florida rainy season (Heavy). So, in closing, I wish all parents out there that they take a minute out of their tight schedule and tell them how much you love them and mean to you. Sorry for dragging this on, but the song made me think of my Joshua who passed in 2009.
you're made of fucking iron my man, that must be hard to endure. I hope whatever is going on your life, actually gets better.
Sorry sir may god bless you
Dave so sorry for your lost and your heart will never heal from losing a child no matter how old they are. My daughter lost her 9 month old son suddenly and like I said your child is your child but I know it must be that much harder having your son longer in life. I lost two of my grandson's and my heart will be broken until the day I die. I haven't lost a child so I don't know that deep deep pain ya'll feel just can't imagine what that feels like. As you said tell your children how much you love them and how proud you are of them. Just showing them no matter what happens I love you unconditionally never forget that. Thank you so much for sharing your pain and how important it is to tell and show them your love. God Bless you and your family. Your son is right there on your shoulder always watching over you. My two grandsons are on each of my shoulders and they are Angels and they really are beautiful 😇 Angels

Sorry mate about your son. Life is beautiful but sometimes is not fear.
I was an 80's kid. And, I wish that I could go back to then and just keep repeating the time, like a broken record. I love music from all ages. But, the 80's were the best time ever. I just turned 44 year's old, about a week and half ago. And, I still got my long hair and I don't wanna have it any other way. The music from the 80's, is just on a whole different level than the rest of the music. Don't get me wrong, I love the 60's and 70's rock music, too. But, the 80's were the pinnacle of it all...

My deepest sympathis and condolences to you.❤😔 My mother killed herself in 1988, when I was 24. This album had just come out. When I got to my parents' house after finding out she was gone, MTV was playing on the television, and this video came on. It brought me to my knees. It was great. Everything had so much power and emotion. The men looked like women but acted like men. As opposed to today.
But the beauty of it now is that we can look back at it as a whole and enjoy it in it's entirety!

This band "Cinderella" is on hiatus since the band last album together title "Still Climbing' in (1994) great album too but I think it was released in a wrong time. But this band former frontman Singer-songwriter musician, composer and producer Carl Thomas Keifer (Tom) still Rocking touring and singing our favorite Cinderella's hits songs and new hits songs too from his second solo album title "RISE" and his new band The #Keiferband and let me tell you this Tom Keifer who was born Carl Thomas Keifer former Cinderella frontman still singing so cool after his seven vocal cords surgeries and paralysis in his left vocal chord cord and his new solo album "RISE" was acclaimed by music critics last year in October in hard rock-blues category and is on The Billboard top 10 most sales new albums in (2019) and now in (2020) and also is one of the most playing new rock albums this year so Congratulations for Tom Keifer and his new band The #Keiferband for this incredibly new "RISE' because the whole album is absolutely Amazing! P.s. Tom Keifer postponed the rest of his "RISE" tour here in his Country our country (United States) and other countries in Europe because the new pandemic of the Coronavirus or Covid-19 they say until August but Tom Keifer can xan1 it because the situation with this Virus is getting worse. Ps. The few nights Rock Concerts with Tom Keifer and others rock bands from the 80's and 90's was also postponed for later this year or maybe for 2021 because the Coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic Good luck for them I just hope that Tom Keifer don't hurt his voice again

Yes sir. I grew up with all the 80s and 90s music. I never considered this band a "hair metal" band. These guys were Rock n Roll just like GnR. Love this band. And the singer/guitarist is an amazing songwriter. Fan for Life.
I was 13 when this came out. I kissed a girl I met while I was on a family vacation. It was my first kiss. We wrote a few love letters back and forth, but I never saw her ever again. When I got home, I played this for the next 6 months and cried in my room. I always remembered her name & I looked her up on Facebook 20 years later & found her. We both laughed so hard.
Did you not want to get the girl?

This Song Still Makes Me Cry....😢
Yes BeKah
Me too BeKah
Since hearing this as a kid, I still don’t understand his voice. Painful and beautiful. I tried it and lost my voice for a month.
If you grew up to this like I did, then you grew up in the best era in history! Hands down!
James Personette Right there with you...100%
Oh yeah
Love it and still do. I wish we could have had Eddie Van Halen for another 1000 years but you get what you get. Sometimes god is greedy.
FACTZZZZ
It's absolutely true. When the world was full of love and understanding and appreciation. Miss it...
Just heard of Jeff LaBar's passing. Saw this video thumbnail and had to watch. Thanks for helping make 80's rock the best rock that ever rocked Jeff!
What happened to Jeff?
@@didibolter9362 the family would not say or maybe don't know?
@@tesslite1578 Thank you Tess
Nobody, I mean nobody is cooler than Jeff LeBar holding & playing a six string. Deepest Sorrow of his passing. Thanks Jeff, coolest guitar God ever. RIP
The aerial footage is amazing! Especially when you think about back in those days, you actually had to hire a helicopter to get the footage. Today now all it takes is a kid with a drone and you’ve got it…
Such a true song. Loved them in the 80's & still loving them 5/4/2024 ❤️I would love to live again in those great days.❤️🎵🎶❤️🔥💪🙂❤️
"Cinderella" is Probably the most underrated rock band of the 80's and 90's because they deserve a better recognition. Cinderella music is different, is clean of negative messages because in every Cinderella's songs you can hear positive word's Or a very true message like in this one and that's why fan's still love Cinderella's music in this days because is an AMAZING! Hard Rock Metal Band.
Denice Carla Gordon they are definitely my #1 “hair band”
Couldn't say it better!!!!!!
Got that rite denice.
#1. Cinderella
#2. Europe.
Yeah, definitely they were underrated in the 80' and 90's, if you think in bands like Poison, Def Leppard, Kiss and others. Sure they should have deserve more attention.
I'm 13 and I love 60s 70s 80s and 90s music It's pretty much all I listen to. All the new music that gets played on the radio all day is complete garbage. The 80s music is my favorite decade for movies and music. I feel bad for other kids my age that haven't experienced music like this. Classic rock for life! And don't get me even started on movies
I'm 13 too and feel the same Bro.
I'm 14 and i feel exactly the same, classic rock for life!
same but im 16, nobody in my school likes it and bullies me because of it and i just tell them well listen to what you like and ill listen to what i like
Ty Andrzejewski That's sad people bully you because of it, especially because everyone used to listen to it back then. Now its like uncool to have seen anything from before the year 2000. Except for maybe star wars. But that's really sad. You'll probably eventually find people with the same interests. I did 2 or 3 years ago and their my best friends. Classic rock for life
Sara Garganté glad to know there's others out there and not every kids is a stupid millennial who listens to crappy modern pop
Love that end scene!! What a beauty❤
Discovered Cinderella yesterday! They do not disappoint. What a great rock band 🤟🏼
Welcome to real music! It's gonna change your life!❤
NEVER TOO LATE!

NOT A SINGLE ONE TODAY SONG CAN MAKE ME FEEL LIKE 80'S MUSIC DID.GREETINGS FROM DEBT RIDDEN GREECE...
MrArisMih Greetings from USA. 80's music was amazing. Most countries are debt ridden but Greek history and culture live on....
MY AMERICAN FRIEND..THOUSANDS OF AMERICAN TOURISTS ARE VISITING GREECE EVEN RIGHT NOW AS WE TALK..I OWN A SMALL SHOP AT A VERY COMMERCIAL STREET..I HAVE A LOT OF AMERICAN CUSTOMERS..THANKS FOR SUPPORTING US.I AM DISGUSTED WITH WHAT EUROPE HAS BECOME..I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE GENERAL IDEA.EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE TOURISTS FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD THAT ARE VISITING MY SHOP..ALWAYS ASK ME.."NOW WHAT?..HOW ARE THINGS GOING ON?..HOW IS YOUR BUSINESS DOING?..ETC..ETC"..AND I FEEL LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN OF THE WORLD.I DON'T BLAIM THEM..THEY REALY CARE..THEY ARE VICTIMS OF THE MEDIA PROPAGANDA THAT NEVER STOPS.BUT I AM ASHAMED YOU SHOULD KNOW..I AM 38 YEARS OLD AND I NEVER HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO VISIT YOUR COUNTRY LIKE YOU DO WITH MINE..INSTEAD I SUDDENLY FIND MY SELF OWING ABOUT 38.000 EURO TO SOME EUROPEAN GUY THAT KEPT ME ALIVE..YOU KNOW GREECE OWE 380 BIL EUROS TO EUROPE..WE ARE 10 MIL SO I OWE 38.000 EURO TO SOMEONE..AND THATS THE TRUE AND THE CORECT WAY..BUT A SMALL DETAIL IS THAT I NEVER HAD THAT MONEY..SOME POLITICIAN TOOK IT INSTEAD OF ME AND MAYBE BOUGHT A PORSCHE..WHY SHOULD I PAY HIS BILL..THATS THE CORRUPTION IN GREECE THAT WE ALL KNOW BUT ONLY A FEW EARNED FROM IT MY FRIEND.WELL SORRY FOR WRITING NON STOP.AFTER 6 YEARS OF TREMENDOUS ECONOMIC CRISIS WERE EXHAUSTED MY FRIEND.ANYWAY THANKS FOR KEEPING THE FAITH..WE'RE ALL GREEKS AFTERALL..JUST KIDING.
What has happened in countries like Greece and Argentina is just a foreshadow of what's to come for the rest of the world including the US. Once the US dollar collapses and is replaced as the world standard currency it will send shockwaves through the financial markets and devastate our economy. Research what happened to England when the pound was replaced by the dollar as the world standard.
You have nothing to be ashamed of it is not your fault. It is the fault of the central bankers and the corrupt politicians who have enslaved and indebted our once great nations. Good luck with your business and God bless you and your family.
WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE..THE POINT IS THAT WE'RE WASTING SOME OF THE GREATEST YEARS WE HAVE AS HUMANS...THE DECADE BETWEEN 30-40 I FIND MY SELF UNABLE TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT I HAD IN MIND.AND OFCOURSE EVERYONE ELSE IN GREECE IS LIKE ME.WISH THE BEST TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY...HOPE USA AND IMF CONTINUE TO SUPPORT GREECE IN THIS AT LEAST DIFICULT SITUATION WE FIND OURSELVES INTO.
MrArisMih You hit the nail on the head. Nothing like the 80's music. My favorite yrs. of the good music.
I grew up in the 80 's . That was a good time.
I born in 91 and I discovered these bands all my own and this song is by far one of my favorite. Favorite band though are the Scorpions 🤘
What a masterpiece. Damn. The best rock ballads of all times happened when I grew up, hands down!!
A simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel better, hope my simple hello will put a beautiful smile on your face
Masterpiece? Do you have a full string of fish? Listen to his voice crackling and you call that music? How old are you, eight?
i miss it, what a great time to be alive
No doubt some awesome songs and made the military times go by quickly.
Oh yeah
This song reminds me of my husband. He got killed in 2008. We met in 1991. God I miss him so much!!! Tears fall as I try to even type this. Next month makes 9 years he's been gone. And you know what? It never goes away. At least I have memories in my heart. So many good ones. Thanks to music like this!!
roxxii2 c
song reminds me of me mum. gone a few weeks over a year now. I so agree with you.
Sorry to hear that. I lost my husband 8-19-08 (cancer) and still have bad days. You lose a piece of your heart & soul when you love deep and lose them. God Bless you and I hope you find peace, love and happiness.
roxxii2 so sorry for your loss
May god bless you and your loss
He has that unique scratchy voice like Peter Criss, I love it!!!
Almost 50, and remember this song all too well. Was a childhood making type of song and to think I thought I knew the meaning of the lyrics then, boy they mean so much more now that I have actually lived! Thanks 80 rock
One of the most beautiful ballads I've ever heard. Gets me every time 🖤

Song is Great ! Just sucks that it is about my Life.
Well hello Melissa! Was wondering where all my white girls were at
Yes it is
I will be 46 on Friday, and am stuck in the 80's. Big hair bands, screaming guitars, one hit wonders, etc. The 80's is a living time space legend. I was in love with the 80's then, and am even more so today.
Hilary Patterson I would do anything to go back to 80s
