300 000 views, it is totally unbelievable. Thank you all for watching. I will buy a bottle of champagne.
PLASMO - plastic models
Is it possible to apply the Mr Color primer with a paintbrush?
If you use paintbrush you do not need a primer.
PLASMO - plastic models
Oh alright. Great video by the way!
I must admit at least 10 of the views are mine as I'm working on the same model and trying to learn from the master :)

Why did you have to peel the paper from the Balkenkreuz on the top wing?
It's crazy how much detail you put in a part that's going to be barely visible, you are truly a dedicated talent.
Blown away. From a weekend kit, unbelievable. It seems I'm 5 years behind but at age 69 years and learning, I need to see masters like you at work and keep trying.
Sir, your model work is absolutely outstanding. I have been building models of all kinds since I was 8, I am now 53. I have learned more tricks from you than I can think off. Great videos and with superb illustrations… keep up the good work for our younger viewers, this older viewer enjoys them as well.
Absolute loveliness in plastic. Simply stunning.
*****
at 8;45 minutes into the video you are doing something to a decal I've note seen before, it looks like you're peeling off the carrier film from the decal somehow, could explain what is happening there because you've boggled my mind !! :)
Fantastic build btw !! :D
Збс !
freezatron I think that's the liquid he applied, some kind of adhesive, can't think what's it's called.
Why tf are you replying to someone, press the comment button you old fart
I've come back and watched this video about five times now; I learn something new every time. This is absolutely stunning! Keep up the great builds.
Seeing you were opening the box on an Eduard weekend edition, I wasn't expecting much. I was very wrong as you have turned what in essence is a basic kit into a showpiece. Very well done on this excellent example of what can be done with some patience and a lot of skill. Why one person decided to give this a thumbs down... is beyond words. Thumbs up from me.
You got some mad skills.
If I'll ever need a heart surgery I'm going to e-mail this guy.
lol wait what?
I would recommend a Heart Surgeon
Hahaha! Good one!
@alex. Who not?
@@UKMusicCharts-UK joke isn't a familiar word for you is it?
There are a lot of model builders that put videos on UA-cam, but you sir, are among the best. Absolutely incredie. Museum quality for sure!!!!
OMG. The detail. The skill. So so clever. Work of art.
I used to build Tamiya motorcycles. They turned out alright, but this is another level. Make that 100 levels.
SUPERB!! Of all the models you've built this is probably my favourite - the level of detail you put into it is simply mind boggling. Well done!
You have inspired me man, all the extras put in, and that cockpit and engine detail is insane! Definitely an award winer, and the washes were looking fiiiiiiiiinnnnnnneeeee
An utterly accomplished and masterful piece of modelling. Awe-inspiring!
When I was young in the mid-70s and in group home I built military dioramas but always did armor because it could be pulled off without an airbrush, more or less. I put them in a hobby store in LA and then was released from the group home. When I finally went back to retrieve them a year later they were gone, but dioramas of a similar quality were going for hundreds of dollars. I didn't even know they could be sold.
As an adult I've made a career as a Photorealist oil painter. At one point I thought I''d like to get back into modeling but the craft has advanced so much that to be competitive would be too time consuming. Very impressive seeing how things have advanced in four-plus decades.
Wow, I'm speechless, Martin! What you did with this FW is far beyond masterpiece! It's so full of details and the weathering? World Class, my friend, world class.
Cheers,
Radek
I have this exact same kit at home, waiting it's turn on the bench for more than a year. After seeing the absolutely beautiful job David did with his FW, I don't know... mine may never get done now... great job!
Master craftsman! The most beautiful WW2 fighter! Cheers for sharing.
Jilk Surat I love the Focke-wolf 190
Jilk Surat meh P51B will always be the sexiest in my heart
J2M5 Raiden, anyone? No? Fine
I knew i wasn't the only one lol
Impressive build. Like the additional armor plate on the cockpit sides and canopy depicting the Sturmjager.
The attention to details tho.Such a beautiful amazing build I love it.Really enjoyed watching it from start to finish and seeing this plane come to life.Great job
This is one of the best finishes to a model I have ever seen - anywhere. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more.
Beautifully done model, nothing like doing a battle worn model over a factory fresh one. I hope it's won a few prizes.
That model is absolutely Superb. More realistic than a real plane. Unbelievable. Excellent attention to detail. Brilliant.
You're not fooling anyone. That is a life size plane and you're just a giant person.
You got me.

You must be the new standard by which modellbuilding- greatnes is measured. At 08:51 the separation of the film from the national emblem is a thing I have never seen before...You've nailed it!
+paul O I know, it is miracle. Actually not quite. I just use new decals made by HGW. I will do some tutorial for this soon.
What incredible skill and patience.....you deserve a medal ! .....fantastic is an understatement.
Mind blowing absolutely...when I grow up I wanna build models like you...I just turned 52...
Amazing work. I don't think I've ever seen a model look so real. The engine work is awesome.
So viel Liebe zum Detail, du musst ein Künstler sein....
I dont understand why people would dislike your videos. They probably just jealous that they don't got the skills like you
Too amazing!: I can hardly believe what Ive just witnessed!! I used to build many models,.... but never did I imagine going to the extremes that you practice!: BRAVO!
and a big roll of lead wire......and citadel white paint.Love watching the scratch building. The plastic warning signs is a great idea, the postman doesnt agree. But the dogs happy.happy christmas.
You are a true craftsman. I truly enjoyed this series you put together, thanks!
Holy crap, you just raised the bar!
I was like wow at first then I saw all the detail put in and I was like holy shit man!
+William Mann its almost hilariously ass-handing how he does them things ....
This superb masterclass will be my guide as I build the 1/24 scale Airfix Focke Wulf A8.
Congratulations from France on this amazing work. The BWM 801 looks beautiful !
the amount of work involved in this piece is unbelievable
Truly brilliant! High art! Museum quality. I long to be able to achieve such a level of excellence. Build on! Thanks for sharing your gift.
The patience... Those skills... The attention to detail... Mind blown...
top work again David on your 190. just simply fantastic, as all your work, just the work of a skilled artisan, a true genius, as always, a maestro. well done again mate.
one of the most detailed 190's I've ever seen , outstanding
Whenever I build or watch a video about scale modelling, I always wonder what future archeologists, human or not, would think of our models after unearthing them. Thousands of miniature versions of vehicles built by a species long gone. All similar yet each one unique. Would they be put in museums like the pottery and sculptures of the Ancient Egyptians? Or would they be destroyed like those of countless other civilisations. Since plastic takes thousands of years to decay, I think our creations would still be beautiful for years to come.
Tomcat Model Kits Well, that got philosophical, fast. XD. Im kidding though. I doubt it, the plastic may not decay but the glues and paints we use will. Who knows, 100 years ago we used stuff we would rarely touch nowadays, perhaps they will destroy our models as we're using some kind of not yet known highly toxic chemical
British comedian Bill Bailey says he deliberately buries spoons in his garden to confuse the archaeologists of the future!! 🤣
@@idleonlooker1078 ghehe that's funny.
Amazing work Martin! I never tire of watching your videos or viewing your builds.
You should receive a Nobel Prize for this work of art.
A M A I Z I N G ! ! !
David, with your extraordinary artistry, you should publish a book on some the techniques you demonstrate in more detail. Thank you for posting. I am always inspired by your videos.
The minute details that you manage to replicate are just astounding.
What a skill you have.... Bravo!
Really like this build, so much detail, almost like the real thing miniaturised!
I want to do one thing in my life as precise as this guy's making a model
Wonderful work, Thanks for sharing. I am new at building and it helps me to see the bottles, colors or glues you use.
Even a photo or two of your more common tools.
Thanks again!!
These videos are AwesOme...Just lov the techniques ....I'm officially addicted to these vids !!!
you sir, are an artist of the highest caliber! Keep up the beautiful, amazing work.
Incredible. And mesmerising to watch!
Absolutely astonishing - a work of art!!
these are nuuuuuuuts. I love watcching these DD. I watch these with an old fellow who suffered some brain cancer a year ago, and vidjas are a great way to pass the time. This epic soundtrack, no verbage, and detailed camera guidance of the models are perfect for satisfying the simple brain chemistry he needs, and also for me, and quite a number of us as well. I used to build Revell models 45+ years ago, then off to model rocketry, so I particularily love the old nostalgic sensations too. I hope more of you people with hobby talents take DD's pro tip and get to showing us your crazy shit!! Bear in mind, though I love hearing people speak in whatever language, omitting verbage and replacing with fun, or epic, or BOTH music from royalty free sites can appeal to everyone in any culture, so go for it!!
Jednoducho nádhera. Pokračuj prosím v tvorení týchto videí. Veľmi ma inšpirujú a vždy sa niečo nové naučím... ďakujem a veľa zdaru!
