The plastic is Eduard, I have built both Eduard's and the Revell boxing and the sprues in the Revell box are identical down to the letters /numbers on each sprue ie 8170 X.
Thinking back to when i was a kid, building Revell and Airfix war planes, i allways wondered how the pro scale model makers, managed to make their planes look so real. I tried with a paint brush and model paint, but could never make my planes look good (45years ago). Fun to see how you make your planes look awesome.
Gorgeous build, and one of my favorite kits ever to build. The wing fit issue you had is the same that I had. There's a small gap but only at the back of the wing root and bottom side of fuselage. I've been waiting years to see you build this kit. Wonderful!
Hello! Thank you for this incredible video, where all the ''chapters'' of modelling are so correctly shown, and your skills are a must to see and learn. Even the music is epical and it dresses the video with the quality it deservs. Please keep us posted on other top quality videos as this is.
Very impressive finish and weathering work. At first I wasn't sure what you were doing with the masking fluid, but once I saw you removing it, it all became clear. Great effect!
I purchased this same kit last year, still in my stash. Along with six Eduard "Tan Plastic" D's. Very good detail for 1/48th. Not as good as the TriMaster kit, but still decent. I will say this though, much better than the 1/24th Trumpeter Dora! You can't even put belts in the pit of the thing! Cold mold issues & warping. I won though. OH, The ugly Eduard poor fit snake rises again! I still dry brush, you do an excellent job, but I do prefer dry brush. FREE HAND CAMO! NICE! SAWEET! The Dora came out really nice Dusan, love it. Cool dio also. Congrats!
FANTASTIC JOB on the Dora 9.!!...And yes I wish REVELL Would Not Be So Case Sensitive about the SWASTIKA...In Fact it is A VERY OLD SYMBOL SINCE THE DAYS OF THE ROMANS...And I Work with A Fellow Worker from INDIA...And Says it's A Popular Symbol in India..
I totally get that you folks like to add fine detail to the areas of the models like cockpit and wheels etc, but i think these WW2 planes are at their most beautiful when in flight. I'd like to see the models like that as well as on the ground parked.
Hello Dusan, I enjoy very much your videos and I take a lot of tips out of them. I want to ask you about the chipping effect made with the masking fluid... do you think we can achieve something similar using pva glue?
I will not use the pva glue in the future, I haven't tried out for that purpose but believe me it might not work, it depend of the paint used over as well. Sometimes can be hard because some (not all) pva glues have synthetic adhesive for faster drying time, more resistant and it's similar to silicon in some cases, which is hard to remove. You can try simple hair spray technique if you don't have chipping fluid at your desk. Thanks!! All the best!! Dusan.
My favorite fighter of the WW2 ... nicely done (but a little mistake with the antenna wire which should be relax - no system of tension was on the D9).
The result is amazing. But basically it is the Edu weekend edition sold for 1.5 times the price of the Edu Pro. In this Revell side opener without useful paint reference..🤢
I too build the Eduard boxing of this kit. It's is not one of the better ones. The plug with all of the rear engine detail is engineered horrible with no positive placement pins or lugs for any of the parts. The engine plug does not fit between the two fuselage halves either without a lot of shaving. Then of course what you saw in the video with the wing gun covers and cowl. I think this is actually the first build video of this kit I have ever seen on UA-cam so points for getting it done.
Nice! Surely this is the Tamiya kit reboxed? I built that years ago and the details look identical. It's even the same colour scheme... A side note, I think the aerial wire should be a little slack if the canopy is open?
Please allow me to make a few constructive comments. Why is there chipping/wear on the propeller blades at the back side? On the trailing edge ? It should be at the front, on the leading edge, ofcourse. Propeller blades were always painted in Black-Green, RLM 70. I also recommend EZ-Line, instead of using plastic, for the antenna wire. EZ-Line is extremely elastic and it lasts many, many years. It is available in several thicknesses and colors. Post shading is way too heavy, but that is my personal taste.
@@TheFulcrum2010 Wooden propellers can have chipped paint, too...... The fact that it's wood instead of metal does not mean the paint suddenly becomes indestructable. Ask any pilot or people who fly RC airplanes. And then there is Google Images, too.....................
True but a prop painted and then losing its paint would show how the paints fading not chipping. A chipped prop would cause problems. Fading due to rotation would be more likely especially at the tip because the blades can start to get near mach 1. Thats why prop aircraft were limited because of the speed the later engines created the props started vibrating....the D9 was fast but during its testing they found they had to change the blades because of the power increase to their engines hence the wide paddle design on later marks...
Revell war in den Details schon immer Spitze, aber an der Passgenauigkeit stark nachgelassen 😕. Was sehr schade ist.

I am humble novice who enjoys watching the work of a master! Love your channel!
I love your choice of music for this video. I enjoy how you make this look so easy. And you make OOB builds look so great. Thanks you!
Can’t argue with the final result, excellent work!

Love the way you make things look so easy, and the relaxing music and how clean and close you let us enjoy your work. Thank you!

I like this channel .its nice to watch an expert build these models then display it after it is completed. Fine work on such a hobby.
Agradezco mucho la música relajante que acompaña tus videos.

toujours autant de plaisir a regarder scalemodelaircraft
Yesterday I started building the f/a 18 e super hornet 1:144 it is my first model build and I like it so much
Hi Dusan, congratulations. A really nice model and with a superb finish. So realistic.Enjoy to see your skills, well done. Regards
Another fine build Dusan, really nice work on the chipping effect. Two Thumbs Up!!
Wow. Great job. Like the D version of Fw190. Superb model for great airplane.
since i was a little boy i love these revell-artworks
It came out great! But what did I expect? All your models are great!
Supreme. Bravo.
Beautiful build, Dusan! Eduard in a Revell box!
Good old days :)
Another great build and video, thank you.
Und ebenfalls ein super Arbeit.
It's a very Good Job...!
Очень шикарное исполнение!!! спасибо!
Great work , excelent model !
Lovely work. Sure was one weather beaten Dora just left in the forest.

"The Butcher Bird" in all its glory, beautiful job man .( you make it look easy.)
Awesome result and great job on the FW 👍🏻

Hindus have been using it far longer than Romans. Hindus display it on its flat edge, not on a corner like Nazis.
I believe that's a good job,an special job...and for me Will be a speciall montaje or a build, because this is my favourite Aircraft
Astonishing
superb build!!!!!
Really great Dusan, i will build a one too soon and i let all hatches closed, same as you, i find she looks better then.
Great work as always, however I also enjoy your commentary.
Love it very impressive especially the sliver down 1st. Great video.
Perfect!!!
Brilliant as always.
It's amaizing you can build this in 18 minutes !!! (It would have taken me 6 months)
Looks Great
Cant go wrong with some Revell or a Focke Wolf. Well done.
Only if it's someone else's mold :)
Great done, interesting techniques, some I've never seen before! Thank You for it! ;)
For those who interested this is edward plastic.
日本の昭和はレベルの32分の1を大きいキットで買って作りました。今は凄い精密なキットがたくさんあります!!!動画ありがとうございました(^_^)v
Great job, details are amazing.
Great job !!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
Excellent work!
Nice job!
Greatly done, but mine was horribly warped and thus had a ton of fitting issues
Great diorama !
Nice build
Nice one Dusan. Can you do a video build for a WW1 plane? It would be a nice variation to the models already built.
Looks awesome! Great work
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Как всегда, отличная работа Душан. Что следующее?

Your best yet 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
Outstanding!
nice build
Perfektné!
Some day you may explaing how you build and insert into the canopy the antenna. Thank you
Awesome work!
Congratulations on 100k subs!
Great work!!
What Kind of mark or Ending of models do you recomending for do it this works...thaks...!
Amazing job!...
Excelent job model look great. Look like rebox Eduard model
Correct, a rebox of the detailed but maybe over engineered Eduard kit.
Nice to watch as always, but why glue that hood and hide all that detail? as it fit perfectly and could be then removed to show.
Bravos , Magnifique .
Great Video. What photo etch did you use? I am having issues finding a set for this.
What is the best scale for more details, for example (cocpit, engine, and many others that you prefer)...Thanks
Awesome build!!... what is the music? 👍🇳🇿

@@ScaleModelAircraft thanks for the advise. I will use hair spary... greetings from Chile
Please do an A-10 warthog
Could we see an A-10 build in the future? There's a lack of videos of the freedom yeeter.
My favorite fighter of the WW2 ... nicely done (but a little mistake with the antenna wire which should be relax - no system of tension was on the D9).
I look forward to revell selling its contacta brand.glue here in the US.
Learned a bit of info today, didn't know the bit about the Swastika.
Germany has progressed immensely! Nothing says you have turned your back on authoritarianism like banning stuff
YOU ARE ARTIST 👌👌👌
For my work of end of carrer...!
well I am upset that there's no spiral spinner but nice
did you use any parts not from the kit??
PS great video!!!
Very nice build. From what year are Revell kits good to build, because in the past they had a very bad fit?
The result is amazing. But basically it is the Edu weekend edition sold for 1.5 times the price of the Edu Pro. In this Revell side opener without useful paint reference..🤢
It is the Eduard kit sadly ..the problem with the gun covers on the wing roots Eduard are all to aware of :-(
I built the Eduard kit. Worst fit issues I've had for a long time!
I too build the Eduard boxing of this kit. It's is not one of the better ones. Nice Dora love the camo. SteveU.K.
Perfect 👌
I got the Focke Wulf Fw 190 but on (1/72)
The model is cool i think i will buy it i MAKE revell too Keep the good work😄😁
Nice! Surely this is the Tamiya kit reboxed? I built that years ago and the details look identical. It's even the same colour scheme... A side note, I think the aerial wire should be a little slack if the canopy is open?
No it is Eduard tooling, much finer in some areas and much more accurate gun covers, wheel bays. This one have a roller. All the best! Dusan
The Aquacolors from Revell are pretty thick. Did you also use water beside thinner?
I'm wondering when you used the AMMO One Shot primer, did you thin it or used it straight out of bottle? By the way, awesome job on the build.
Please allow me to make a few constructive comments.

As I've stated, there should be no chipping effect because the blades were made of wood...

What type of airbrush you have?
Harder and Steenbeck infinity series by the looks of it

Sieht sehr gut aus 👍

Kann auch sein dass das Kit von einem anderen Hersteller ist und nur von revwll vermarktet wird, habe eher schlechte Erfahrungen mit revell

I was wondering if there are any models of the German bomber the condor?😎
