"Engine section is still quite empty."
Lol
My thoughts exactly. xD
Are you being facetious? I’m slo on the uptake.
LMAO!! I said EXACTLY the same thing!! I'm sitting in my RV, alone, watching this on my 24" computer screen with my window open beside the sofa. He makes that comment about the engine section still looking empty and I practically shout (yes, out loud, alone!): "EMPTY?!?! IF I WASN'T SITTING HERE WATCHING HIM BUILDING AND PAINTING THAT THING I'D THINK IT WAS THE REAL THING SITTING THERE HAVING MAINTENANCE DONE!!!!" God only knows what the neighbors think with all of my outbursts, comments out loud about how he's a freaking MASTER, laughing, etc.! Honestly, I've NEVER seen somebody with such an amazing gift. As we ALL have, I've seen some incredible models. PLASMO just blows them ALL right out of the water and takes the hobby to an entirely new level...like OLYMPUS or VALHALLA level! Wow, I just can't shut up about this guy!
He is a very talented man . This would be awesome as 1/32 ...but it's smaller than that . 100% respect to David
My wife would never understand why I’m watching this with tear in my eyes
i cried!!!
Hence the famous " No girls allowed " sign.
I don't get it either. In my case, the tears won't flow when my jaw is dropped down to my ankles. :)
Same here, my wife just looks at the videos and goes so what? Mind you, I am crying tears of laughter, David is so understated..” I’ll just do a few modifications...”
WW2
MAN ! I thought I was a pretty good modeler over the past 50 years, but this guy, Jesus. Time to regroup... :)
You're ok! Take a deep breath and take some time! You realize this guy ain't human don't you? He's some kind of model mage! Don't try to compare what I'm sure are great HUMAN modelling skills,to this Being's creations. It just ain't realistic to do so!
Yeah I'm torn between being inspired and being ready to give up
Bob Smith i’m about to give up lol
@@ethanrocheleau3344 After 40 years...I just tapped out. But they were fun years with many memories. Now my kids are carrying the torch.
A delight to watch him 👏🏼👏🏼
You sir, are a model making genius. I just love your work. Are there museums that would pay for you to create dioramas to illustrate life on the front line during WW2? There must be. Take note WW2 museums, you have a talented man here to enhance your scene setting, do not let him go to waste.
Levels of scale modelling:
1.Beginner
2.intermediate
3.Professional
4.David Damek (Plasmo plastic models)
Every time I watch one of your videos I am totally blown away and I think to myself that’s as good as it gets, then I watch another one of your videos and you prove me wrong. This is phenomenal, truly a work of art. You are a modelling genius.
But how .? There are certain people in this world that are just on a different level than the rest of us . And by quite a fair margin. You Sir are one of these extraordinary people
Absolutely the finest airplane model work I have ever seem, museum quality, you Sir are an artist. If you are not getting paid for this work of art, you should be.
Holy mother, that seat belt...no way!
this is so good that it even can not be called professional... it should be in the Louvre...
Merry Christmas and happy 2019!
Glad you're a fan Alex he really is a genius!!
@@andrew2366 Absolutly!
@@AlexModeling You're models are excellent as well but PLASMO is on another level...
@@andrew2366 You can not even compare me with him... he is trully remarcable on this... thanks
@@andrew2366 Just ou of curiosity, if you call this genius then how do you qualify Mr Rojas Bazan's work ? ua-cam.com/video/yvTzGdo6Uus/v-deo.html To me, as far as I can tell, THIS is genius ! ;o) Not just by the look of the final product but mainly by how it's been achieved.
I've been building models for 50 yrs. I watch your videos alot all I can say is WOW!! truly mind boggling you really are in a class all by yourself! Your pieces are not just models but art to a high degree.
It's like looking at the real plane with the wrong end of the binoculars.
2 thumbs up.
Wow, I have buid models for 48 years, and I can not do this level of detail, is beyond my skills, well done !!!!!!!!
Just ending an Italeri 1/72 spitfire IX. I was very proud of myself uuuuntil I saw this video.
Hey can you make a full interior tank kit there is not much videos about it
@@sercanyldrm9585 ; andyshobbyheadquarters has a couple. I've had people say its really hard, those kits have 1000s of parts. Still, I want a T-55 one.
@@orbitalair2103 I have a miniart the 60 and a hobbyboss pz.38 (T) b full interior but they don't ride the colors it's a pain in the butt

Quite stunning David. You always manage to amaze. How long did it take you on this one?
"I'll use a few extra parts" *Dumps a massive pile of extra parts on table*
Ikr? Surely it's able to fly at this point..? ;)
I thought us ship model guys were bad with all the aftermarket extras. LOL
Ground and airforce modellers and railroad modellers have a thing for buying as many extra parts to make their kit look good
@@rhodelganaden5444 Building a 1/200 scale HMS Rodney right now and I have far more aftermarket parts than are in the actual trumpeter kit :-) .. but that is normal and happy to be doing a kit build for this as it cuts down build time quite a bit, the 1/200 Bismarck scratch build took me seven years to do (well on and off work on it) and my 1/100 Lusitania is going to take years to do...
Dust made of micro parts
"The engine section is still quite empty."
Empty he says.
Benjamin Bovard its just not detailed enough
Just awe inspiring. I love the little aside about how assembling the seatbelts requires a "little bit of patience". If you need to summon patience for it, most people would be having a stroke by that point
I need to preface this by saying I mean this with the utmost respect and awe.
You, sir, are mad. That plane is amazing.
I once heard there is a fine line between "madness" and genius!!
This is a very special kind of art, that I have never known before. Real art.
I am astonished by the level of craftmanship
"The engine section is still quite empty" he says, cackling madly
always amazing such an inspiration.

As always incredible work. This is pure art. Your models are like shrinked originals.
No way, the originals are not as realistic as his models :)
*shrunken
I thought I would NEVER watch someone build a plastic model...but I can not stop watching its fantastic....
the research you did to make this real is unimaginable!
That is an incredible kit. One of the most detailed I've seen. Plasmo did a beautiful job on this. And your work building it and painting it compliments it just as well, superb. Totally on another level.
One of the best i have ever seen! Thank you for sharing this with us!!!!
Great i am speechless
The rust and discoloration on the egine exhaust is just incredible!
Incredible craftsmanship! The attention to detail is eye popping!
I do structural maintainence on real military aircraft. It is crazy how many of the tools(Rotary files, cut off wheel, files, and a brake) you use we use everyday to fix real aircraft. I want to get into this hobby but to be honest after doing it all day its hard to just get right back to it. You put more detail into your work than a lot of guys do on the real deal, great stuff!
The trick is to do a subject you don't work with everyday. I'm a Heavy Diesel Tech...and can't stand looking at a truck or car model at the end of the day. Feels like work still
This might be your best work yet, David. Bravo!
I will never call myself a modeler again after watching your videos!!!!! haha
YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful German plane. This is the sledgemaster and here for another show. God bless u and ur family
You Have The Hands of A Doctor..Steady and Professional.!.. Excellent Job ALWAYS !
Absolutely amazing display of artistic skill and attention to detail! As a young model builder back in the 80's I was always draw to the cut-away models and marveled at their complexity. You helped demystify that process, and at the same time made me appreciate the dedication and hard work required to create this masterpiece! I salute you! 👍
@Mike: thanks for your kind comment! Loved the good vibe in your wording :)
Love that you are speaking English as your second language and you use the word 'thus'.
Respect.
I don't comment on YT, but I could not ignore this. This is THE most impressive build I have ever seen. Stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Perfect! Plasmo! Music, beautiful creativity, craftsmanship and peace! Perfect! I think you are getting even better with this one. Which seems impossible but you just did it! inspirational! You are not good you are the best. Beautiful Focke Wulf, the 'Butcher Bird'!
Just amazing! Such a gorgeous model!
Thanks for sharing your work and producing the video.
I had to stop myself from standing on my desk and cheering at the end. Such a fine hobbyist, the extraordinary patience, the tenacity. Even the video itself is meticulously made, with construction details and appropriate music. Homage to this world class craftsman.
And a big fat BOO to youtube for having the audacity to fill this work of art with ads, as if they had somehow contributed to it. Heathens!
I know this is two years old, but it is a great video. I always was more into WW1/WW2 battle ships, but this made me order a plane kit.
The rust finish on the exhaust mainfold is so damn realistic!!😮👍
Just ordered the paint. Exactly the color I was looking for exhausts. Looks awesome
Aircraft engine exhausts are made from metals which do not rust, they discolour due to heat. Many modellers try to replicate the exhaust pipes they see on motor vehicles.
@@davehardie4991 I agree on that... They should be a more blueish color that rustbrown. But still, this is astounding! Love his work!!!
Beautifully done sir. Don't thank me for watching. Thank you for making this video :)
Love your videos mate. I used to build models as a kid and I kind of wish I had never stopped. Very satisfying and relaxing hobby
Its never to late to start back again😊
You are the best I have seen. Your paint job show your knowledge of paint and orthotics. If I speelt it right. And creative. You are truly a master.. I love your videos.

Truly an amazing performance, one of the absolutely best detailed models i have seen. Keep up the good work!
Your models are on a different level, 1st class every time. Thank you for sharing.
Your attention to detail is just amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you build this. The plane and the diorama are incredible. Thank you for sharing your work.
Merry Christmas David. I appreciate your videos for the entertainment, but even more so for the education. There are thousands of modelers, and I am one of them, that build better models thanks to you and your efforts. I think one of the best ways modelers can get better is meeting with other modelers, sharing ideas and techniques, motivating each other to be better than we were yesterday. Even though we've never met, you and I are part of that modeling community, and you help me every bit as much as the guy I see each month at the IPMS meeting. Thank you for helping, every time you post a new video. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, and the happiest of New Years.
OMG this is insane!!! Fantastic job.
Seriously, the rust pigment with the black panel liner for the engine exhaust. Man that looks good!
From a plastic kit to a work of art...
PLASMO POWER!!!!
Love your videos man
It's you! Nice dioramas and models ^w^
You are not too shabby yourself!
As always you do exquisite work. One thing I like to do before I paint my wheels is to carefully push them down on a hot surface to make it look like they have a weight on them.
The way the machine & all its materials/finishes are revealed before your eyes is quite something to see! I can almost smell the actual aircraft. An absolute masterclass in the art, thanks for sharing your skill!
This is absolutely outstanding...one of the best models I've ever seen done!
"I mark parts that I have to remove with a black highlighter" - Colours in most of the kit and replaces it with better parts.
What an incredible job. I wish I could do that too. It is always a pleasure to see your videos. I wish you all the best for 2019.
Unbelievable! I got no words! You put so much love into this, my highest respect! Greetings from germany!
beautiful piece of work. Real craftsmanship
Very impressive it's good to see that you have the correct insignia on the tail and are not trying to change history like a lot of other PC model makers.
History should not be forgotten or we run the risk of repeating it
I have recently retired and was looking for a hobby between deer seasons. This is the first video I have watched and you ruined it for me. I had no idea how much time you invested and your attention to details I second to none. I had no idea that people did this. I thought you opened a box and glued it together. have the time but I do not have the skill or patience. You are very talented and your skills are amazing. Since you ruined model building for me I will now have to think out a new hobby. I wished I had not watched your video lol. Thanks for sharing.
brucejoshua21 Jesus, I said the same thing to myself after watching this.
Wow.... just wow...
Mere words can't do this outstanding work justice.

You are one of the best, most detail oriented modelers I've seen. Your attention to both physical details and your color details result in some truly stunning final builds. Getting physical detail and color detail to work together, correctly, is so hard, for me anyway. It's a pleasure to watch you work, so thank you for sharing so many pieces with us. They are amazing studies to learn from.
You make painting tiny, tiny parts look so simple. Amazing results.

ME262 under a Autobahn bridge would be a great diorama!
Oh yes, maybe some kind of highway assembly. But I guess the build very annoying because you need several models for a convincing assembly line.

I want to see him do a Ho 229 model!
are you taking drugs?
Could work if you got an ME262 in something like 1:144 scale. Otherwise that diorama would be monstrous
