- Dorfromantik is one of those rare games that balances a relaxed, slow atmosphere with surprisingly challenging gameplay. Similar to board games like Carcassonne, your task is to build out a sensible, connected world using tiles with features like fields, cities, forests, and more. The better your tile placement, the more score you receive, the more tiles you add to your pile to keep playing. Get the highest score you can, then wipe the board clean and start again!

Bought this game last night and I stayed up way too late playing it. This is a great game and I highly reccommend it
This is one of those "easy to play, hard to master" kind of games.
While the tile planning may be annoying, the music is always wonderful.
Sometimes I just lose myself to the sound and place without much thought. If I lose, I start over. The background music is all I need
I found this game to be perfect for playing while listening to a podcast. It's like chocolate and strawberries, they are wonderful apart, but pure perfection together.
I enjoy playing this game after a stressful day at work. I usually score anywhere between 7000-14000 points & takes me about 45 mins. When I’m done I’m relaxed & go on with rest of my evening. 😁
I bought this along with Tile Cities when they were on sale a few months back whilst I was in the middle of a downward spiral during recovery post-op; I found it to be beautiful, soothing, relaxing & a gentle way to spend my time. It helped me slowly regain focus & energy during my days. I love it still & open it for a quick 'pick me up'. The graphics & music are truly outstanding and I recommend the game 5 stars. Thanks for showcasing it on your channel :)
Dorf romantik was a hidden gem I stumbled upon a few months ago, and is so unlike anything I usually play. Happy it made it on this channel!

I have trust issues with leaderboards. It's generally so easy to just change some values in memory to beat the high score. I enjoy playing Forza, for example, and that game loves its leaderboard, but the leaderboards are filled to the brim with clearly impossible feats. Finishing races in milliseconds, danger signs with jump distances you couldn't possibly achieve, etc.
A game like this though has so many possibilities I don't even know if you could put a limit on the score! Either way it was a really fun watch!
