- Hello, friends! This game flew completely under my radar but boy, oh boy, did I enjoy my time relaxing and unwinding while placing tiles. I love a cozy city builder and this one really hit the mark.

Have you played Dorfromantik? How does Pan’orama compare?
I think Dorfromantik is better, as the quests there don't need surrounding tiles, but connecting ones. But in DR you need to check all sides and sides of the hexagons give you points when matching, whereas here you get all the types of a tile as a bonus.
I like the art style of both, and the quests and buildings are fun. Still, DR takes the win for me, a bit more complex but more rewarding as well
@@tamastoth82 A couple people have told me it’s more intensive in terms of optimizing tile placement so I’d probably not make it far haha! But I think I am going to check it out because it still sounds really good.
the layout in this game makes so much more sense than in DR
it just looks kind of gamey in DR due to all the optimizations you got to make, the rails & rivers in particular become some massive delta as the game goes on, and it's not even a delta that flows right

Looks like exactly the same game. Panorama might look a bit better though.
I actually checked out this game because it was very similar to Dorfromantik, which is one of my favorite games. I gotta say this one feels a lot more relaxing because you don't have to maximize efectiveness of every single tile to keep going lol. Dorfromantik usually has me triple checking every spot for basically every tile looking for perfect placements, which can get a little stressing specially once you're down to less than 20 tiles. In this game I barely look at my tile pile and just keep designing however I want.
Also, I feel the world feels a little more alive thanks to how tiles grow and evolve. I love watching the trees grow up, the house multiplying, the rocks turning into mountains. I really adds an extra to it
That’s really good to know! I should try Dorfromantik sometime, still, just to do it haha but I love the low stress of Pan’orama for sure. And I agree about watching the world evolve. Getting a good piece that upgrades a bunch of tiles at the same time is so satisfying.
Exactly what I thought too. Dorf stressed me out a little too much for a game like this, and Panorama is way more fun to me personally. I also like the art better.

I adore Dorfromantik and find it incredibly relaxing when I just want a nice chilled game to play. I'd love to get the proper board game.I've added this one to my steam wishlist as it also looks great.
Dorfromantik and Pan’orama are both very good for relaxing game time. The music in Dorfromantik is better, the gameplay of Pan’orama is more chill. But both good choices. I want to try the board game version for sure!!

The animal clicking aspect put it over the top for me to wishlist it. :D
I just wish the fields had a bit of texture to them, they look more like earthen plateaus than plants, despite the swaying animation.
I was really excited when I discovered clicking on animals for points! And, yeah, I agree. The crop texture is pretty blocky but I think it fits the overall aesthetic still.
