@@HivefleetMagoladon same - but I know woodlice, for example, have interesting names in some parts if the UK, thought same might apply with ladybirds. :-)
The box at 3:28 really reminded me of a trick writing desk I saw on the Antiques Roadshow, years back. It had loads of secret draws, and secret cupboards, buttons and sliders and all sorts everywhere!
I think 82 seconds is the quickest Matt has gotten me to buy a game yet. I didn't even continue the video until I'd finished the game because I wanted no spoilers.
symbols on 05:50 are zodiac symbols, sort of; top is libra upside down, right is either virgo or scorpio, but isn't exactly the same to either, bottom is either taurus or aries, again not like either, and left is cancer
If you like this type of game, then you should really check out the game called The Room. It's my favorite puzzle game and there's 4 games to it too which have a lot to them :)
Nothing beats seeing the smile on my children’s faces when they hear you say “and you know what that means…” followed by a chorus of “bridge review”! NB Don’t worry, I’ve managed to convince them that the strongest shape is a triangle. Save that lesson for a few years time!
I played and beat this game on my phone a few weeks ago. Really great puzzle game. I did have to look up two answers since I just didn’t know what I was supposed to do.
Lightning bugs make light, so that checks out. I've never heard one make any noise at all. Who would ever call them a thunder bug? That's just silly. If you hear someone call a lightning bug a thunder bug, tell them to stop
"ladybugs or ladybirds" I love that the British use the fact that these aren't "bugs" as justification for them being ladybirds. As if they're not bugs, but they're clearly *birds*. Ladybeetle is a decent alternative if you're going to be taxonomically correct, but then there's plenty of other better names for it...
I don't know if you already played it, but if you like such games, maybe look into the "The Room" series by Fireproof Games("The Room", "The Room Two", "The Room Three" and "The Room 4: Old Sins"). This game really reminds me of them.
Me: Oh, look! RCE is doing a wholesome puzzle game instead of trying to build knobs out of stuff! Editor: Not on my watch! 3:36 Me: I'm actually, genuinely upset.
2:00 Technically this is a wall clock. A pendulum wall clock, specifically. I can understand the confusion since grandfather clocks are pendulum clocks as well. 🤓✨🌈
Feel too easy to be called a puzzle game tbh, but the visuals are awesome, so definitely would like to see more! Reminded me of Myst series aesthetics.. I wonder if that could make a UA-cam series nowadays..
Have you ever played the game "The Room" there is 4 games and they are basically like this puzzles unlocking doors and boxes and stuff. There really great games.
6:18 best part about not using the cognitive abilities of the brain is that the less you use them, the easier for you is to remember stuff like zodiac bs and so on. These games tend to use their symbols
3:36 WTF was that? Have I been using keys wrong my whole life?
Giggity
*I have been using keys roughly for doorlock...*
(Well, the lock is kinda stuck)
Yamete kudasai!
I heard that and immediately went to the comments to make sure my ears are okay
Same@@of_being
That sound effect at 3:36 ... Matt what are you making your editors watch in that basement?
I don't think he's making them, I'm starting to think they're basement dwellers by choice.
3:36 WHAT THE HECK IT JUST GOES UH!
@Rywhqt does that mean... XD mdpandan
That moan from the lock was criminal🤣
Glad I wasn't the only one. Walked away real quick and heard that in the background. I was like, that did not come from the strongest shape, did it?
🤣
Whats going on mat
Pause
To be fair, with the amount of innuendos I was already wondering how long the editor could bare to behave 😂
Me:
* gets to 3:36 *
* sigh *
* open comments *
cringey ahh dirty mind overused comment
I imagine Matt walking around Wales saying, "Is it just me or is that the strongest shape? Anyone else see that or is it just me?"
Sometimes I hear him calling in the distance over the mountains....
3:34 I was NOT READY for that
I'm afraid to ask what _being_ ready for it would mean...
@15:53 to be fair to Matt, "ladybird" is a name for them. wikipedia has a section on that under "Coccinellidae"
UK standard, afaik.
@@vacuumdiagram Yeah, in the UK it's a ladybird (source: am in the UK)
@@HivefleetMagoladon same - but I know woodlice, for example, have interesting names in some parts if the UK, thought same might apply with ladybirds. :-)
Not to be confused with ladyboys.

Did it also moaned when you put something in it?
17:50 This reminds me of Monument Valley...
The part from 17:50 reminds me a lot of Monument Valley. You should definitely take a look at this gem!
The first game is great. The second one was a step down but I still enjoyed it.
If you like this type of games. Machinika museum is now free in Steam. For limited time.
3:36 became a VERY different game for a second, thought I had other tabs open.
What is bro watching to make that sound in other tabs 💀💀💀

This seems suspiciously much like The Room
Yeah and the room series is so good.
That's what I was thinking.
I'd hoped that you meant the movie by Tommy Wiseau :/
I'm halfway through the video now and it is very very similar even in the style. I wonder if the people who made the room also made this?
@@Rasta8889we're talking about the game "the room"
Very nice. It reminds me of the "The Room" games, which i really liked.
The only mobile games i played, all 4 of them were so good!

Love the game! I’d love to see more of it.
This game is so satisfying to watch the art is beautiful and the graphics are incredible.

Ladybird here, in the UK (near Worcester)
The Ornate Sphere of Antioch!
'Tis one of the sacred relics Brother Matt carries with him.
Has Matt played the Monument Valley games? Feels like he'd enjoy them and it'd be good content.
Looks like a cool game.

I absolutely LOVED watching this game! I really hope you play it again
Ladybird? C'mon Matt 🤦♂️ thank you for another great video, I hope you and yours and Paddy have an amazing weekend 🥰 20:08
15:05 You found a bedazzled Terry's Chocolate Orange.
I would LOVE to see more!!!
while i dont know where exactly, but it depends on where you live if its ladybug or ladybird. just like its firefly or thunderfly.
Huh. I've never heard thunderfly. I've heard lightning bug, though.
Lightning bugs make light, so that checks out.

RCE! Seeing how much you liked this game, I highly recommend the app game Monument Valley. It's a perspective puzzle game quite similar to this!
Please play all of it, the final treasure surely is some nice toy for Paddy!

What a beautifully-made game.
Turning Gears, Clocks and Sliders....Engineer Funland it seems 😉
I just watched Tyler go through the previous games, so this is perfect timing!

Why would you not complete the Section? You literally only have two more puzzles on this Part of the game
Ladybird in the UK
This feels like Resident Evil but without everything except fetchquests and puzzles
3:36 wtf matt, we only expect d* jokes here... don't ruin the fun :(
Am i the only one who noticed the Monument Valley reference at 18:43?
Nope, it was really hard to miss if you're familiar with those games
It was quite obvious
Ladybirds Beetle is the real name of the insect :p
South Africa is with Matt on "Ladybird"
Algo punch.
