Pretty fun and fascinating to watch----I didn't even know bobcats could swim. Never seen that before. And it was fun to watch the ducklings scamper across the log, the baby bear almost slip off the log, and the bobcat leaping into the air like it was gliding past the cameta, lol.
These videos are a wonderful gift to those of us who may not see that range of wildlife in our day to day lives. You do a beautiful job, and your efforts to bring us these amazing videos are much appreciated. Thank you.
The porcupine talking at 4:08 cracks me up. I just love these videos. My late dad was a great outdoorsman - I grew up watching him trap, hunt and fish. Last year when he was sick I showed your videos to him on his tablet and he really enjoyed them. Thank you for gifting this to us.

Thank you for this! I’m in San Diego and don’t have the privilege of seeing such diverse, relaxed wildlife native to your lands. Very stress relieving.
What always gets me is the heron's neck stabilization. I've seen chickens do it, I know birds have specialized muscles for that kind of thing, but it's just so cool to watch. It's so much more pronounced on a bird that's like 50% neck.
So many different animals running, swimming, climbing, flying into the scene ... So beautiful to watch! Thank you so much for filming and sharing this movie!
Hello from Australia. Thank you for doing these videos..they are so pure, relaxing and endearing. And you have so many animals we don't have over here..raccoons! wild cats! omg bears!, squirrels!
this really makes me think about how even one log is so important to animals. imagine if the log was never there - they'd have no way to cross the stream.
Well, they would find another way. Either another log or a string of rocks or just swim across. It does make it easier on them to have a log bridge though.

I love watching these log logs. ;o) Even more so now that I looked up the causes of foam on creeks, and found that in most places it's natural, caused by the breakdown of organic life - mostly vegetation and insects.
I had a mother racoon and 3 babies in my yard last year...I would wake up at 5am just to watch them. They would follow their mother in a single file line across the yard and into the tree. I love nature. I don't know why but the bobcat swimming at night seems odd

There is indeed. As a hunter I assume you know what it is, but for those who don't it's a metal research band issued by the USGS with an individual number stamped on it. It allows biologists to track bird populations. If you ever find a dead bird with a metal band on its leg, please open it and call the phone number inside.
@@saintsataniko2116 Just because you seem a bit confused, he wasn't saying to call the number if you killed the bird, but merely that if you happened upon a bird's body with a band, such as roadkill or simply the remains of another animal's hunt, to do so so the biologists can properly track their data.
@@saintsataniko2116 your point disregards the fact that many people hunt for reasons other than just "for fun". hunting is still a valid way that MANY families make money, or get their food to eat. sometimes hunting is also important so that certain animal populations can be regulated, since if their groups grow too large it may put the ecosystem out of balance. many hunters are also big advocates for helping the environment, and put money and time into conservation. i promise, hunting is far from the black and white situation it may seem to some
