I am in LOVE with this foundation! I’m 56 with normal to dry skin. I have both this and the ABH and yep - very similar. Both are in my top 5 foundations!
Whenever I wear this foundation I will always have people ask me about my skincare 😉 I just love it!

Wow! I just wore this for the 1st time today. Had a sample sent in one of my last Ulta orders. It's been sitting on my vanity for a while because I'm oily and kinda avoided it. I got a good 10 hrs of wear and it still looked great. Definitely works for oily.

This has been my holy grail for like a year now, it’s so pretty on the skin and great if you have dry skin.

I really love NYX foundation to and I have oily skin! One of my holy grail drug store foundations! I’ve had that for a while the one you discussed!
Little late to post this comment yet I spend way too much on high-end foundations and must say this NYX Born to Glow is one of the favorites in my collection-that never fail me. Always look beautiful on my combo, aging sensitive skin. I live in a crazy humid climate yet do not powder it. I do blot on occasion yet still stay looking luminous all day. Great review. I love this foundation and the price is incredible!

I was so excited to try this and had an awful skin day when I finally did. However, I prepped my skin totally different than I normally would, which I’m hoping is the reason. I need to try it again, using my original skin care routine.

I tried this one last year, and it was pretty good. It just doesn't last long on me. But for sure not a new foundation, (which doesn't really matter) just sharing. You always make every foundation look beautiful!

I love this foundation!
I tried it💗 It is a great foundation if you like a dewy finish. This foundation is so beautiful when you first applied it, however, it cannot last for the whole day. If you need a foundation that only needs to be wear around 4-6 hours, it will be a good choice 👍🏻

Hmm I might try this one. I struggle so bad with foundation. I have dry dehydrated skin and struggle with foundation settling in to my lines. But this one looks so nice on your skin. Great video. Thanks for sharing. 😊

I do love this foundation. I wasn't sure if it would work well for my oily skin, but it looks great and wears well...when I do prep well and then set with a matte powder. I kinda forgot about this foundation. I don't think I've worn it in a couple of months (I usually use a foundation with spf in the summer). Might have to take it out tomorrow. 😊

With these hot temps everyone is “enjoying” at the moment, you should try the cruelty free line Alima Pure....I am LOVING the Alima Pure Satin Matte foundation....it is awesome! Gorgeous finish, mask approved...doesn’t break me out under my mask.....and long wearing! It gets prettier throughout the day! Stay safe & well❤️

i tried this foundation yesterday i love it so light weight looks natural on my face :) i only use pea size amount and build it up if i want more coverage so it doesnt look cakey .
One of my favorites! Reminds me of my holy grail UD Naked (the original! Why the heck did they discontinue that?! 😢) and also my new favorite Colourpop Pretty Fresh! 🙌🏻 ✨

I love this one too, it works well for me (dry skin) but I have to be EXTRA careful and apply it EXTRA thin.
Love this foundation! I don’t find it to be glowy either. But it still looks good. It is slightly drying; I can’t wear it multiple days in a row during the winter months (dry skin girl here).
Haven't tried it but you look stunning. I'm a bit more mature and am dry. Mostly in patches now. I'm a Retin A user, but have started using an essence in my skincare routine. I was wondering if possibly adding some glow drops for dryer more mature skin would help. I do prep my skin well before adding foundation.

Elle ever tried juvis place foundation and concealer? I so love these, more full coverage with not a lot of product. Concealer only need a small amount and covers all up. First time I used it had to wash my face and start over in smaller amounts! Is beautiful foundation!

I have SUPER dry skin and I really like it. I've only worn it a couple of times but so far so good. No problems with it wearing off too soon or it being too drying.
It's very dewy on me and I really don't use much on my face besides my Tatcha. I use both (dewy and water cream) depending on how my skin is feeling. My
face was probably really dry when I wore this, because it was Winter when I used it so I probably wore the dewy cream under it. I bought a ton of CYO Lifeproof
foundation before they stopped selling and I'll be keeping them in the fridge so I'm really not in the market to buy any new foundations. I also love the CoverGirl
Matte Made. It's not matte on me at all but more of a satin. It seems to not be doing that well, probably because it's misrepresented. A lot of oily skin gals have
complaints. If they'd market it for Normal/Dry skin I think it would do a lot better. Sorry for the long response. I'm a talker. ;)

I mention you again on my Channel because you’re great with skin care and my knowledge only goes so far with my skin care courses. 💕 people need GOOD info for our skin and you’re one of the best. I actually took these skin care courses to be as knowledgeable as I can for my Subscribers 😎 Being a Makeup artist we should know as much as we can when it comes to skin because that’s the root of all issues and that’s how you base your makeup applications.... BUT taking specific courses is what we NEED in this industry 💗 stay healthy and glowy 😊 always beautiful
Have you tried Juvias PLACE Foundation or Dose of Color foundation? I LOVE THEM BOTH. Also cruelty free and at different price points. I'd love to know what you think about them.

Great review Elle! For me, this foundation actually dries out my skin... it doesn’t look glowy and I use a pretty heavy moisturizer underneath but maybe it’s my SPF (Australian Gold tinted spf). I still love it though but I mix it with some argan oil so it’s not as dry... but then it doesn’t stay on for very long. It looks great on you!!
That SPF was SO drying for me. And I have a normal skin type.
It’s the sunscreen. I have combo skin and it is like chalk.

Except it has bad/drying alcohol (alcohol denat.) it and the ABH does not. Just not something I’d be willing to wear day after day, unfortunately. Cause it looks quite similar on 😔☺️

I like Nyx products. But how do u really know what shade to buy? I know u can’t return and stores have no testers. I buy Light / Med in other foundations. Thanx.

I have combination skin and I love it!! It looks like a second skin. I’ve heard that the concealer is also great for mature eyes (like mine, I’m 46) but in Mexico we still can’t find it 😕
I didn't find the concealer to work well under my eyes, but for spot concealing it was fine.
I did notice myself that on its own it is nog really a glowy foundation! It turned really matt on me and I thought huh it says glowy..😅. But you can make it glowy with a glowy primer and a nice powder with a sheen.. I like it that way, but at first the product raised a lot of questions for me haha. But it llooks beautiful..!💕😘

It claims to have a "just applied look" for 12 hrs. I got 10 hrs out of it and I'm oily. I did use primer and always prep my skin.
Elle, we never get to see how much foundation you put on your sponge when you start out. Would love to see that. Do you put a whole pump on the beauty sponge, or just dab little by little on the sponge. I usually put foundation on the back of my hand then dot it all over my face, then use the sponge. I know, detailed, but just curious if there’s a better way. Thanks!

I don’t think it would work well on my oily skin. It looks greasy going on. I guess I personally prefer a matte foundation since I have dewy glow due to my oily combo skin.
Does this foundation have a fragrance?

Kathy Kitchens honest I look online first then go in store and pick up two. I usually return the one that doesn’t work
