The quality of Taylor's content makes her money. Coz making videos is Taylor's job. Everyone should invest time in their job to earn a wage. Content creation is a career. Not something done lightly or half assed, it has both value and comes at a price. I know the comment is well meant, intended as a compliment... But the content deserves to be treated as WORK, not a pet project or hobby done only for the love of it as a gift to the subscriber audience. Viewers need to be conscientious consumers, recognise what is being 'sold' to them on UA-cam, but creators deserve their work to be seen as WORK.
I wore the haus labs foundation for my wedding day in October and it was flawless (I did my own makeup). It is amazing! It's probably one of the best foundations I've ever tried in my life of trying foundations

I agree about the Haus Labs foundation. I love it and have been trying to make my sample last LOL. It's also the perfect winter shade match for me. The finish is beautiful and it is definitely full coverage. I can get medium with a sponge if I like. The key is to apply very little, less than what you may be used to if you're a makeup wearer. BTW I'm almost 49. Looks beautiful on my dry skin.

Yep, I tried this on my hand in Ulta and knew right away that it wasn't for my desert skin lol. Plus if you have ANY texture it will make it look nasty :(
the haus labs is the best foundation i’ve tried and i’ve tried them all lol drugstore, high end. if wears amazing, my skin is dehydrated and i have dry patches year round and it makes it seem like i have the dewyest skin ever lol
Omg I wished it worked for me. I have the same skin type and that foundation had the perfect color match but sadly did not wear well on me. By the end of the day it was not looking good. Haven’t tried it with any primers tho

Love the video concept!! I wish the Bliss came in a fairer shade. I am pale and don’t self-tan … ever. I just let the paleness fly free haha. But I do like the blurring of the Bliss.
I have oily combo skin and I LOVE the NYX Bare With Me Blur foundation. I love a light to medium coverage, and I apply it buffed on with a foundation brush. It looks so natural on me and when my oils come through throughout the day, it looks so beautiful and natural on me. The oily skinned girls will like this, but I do agree it doesn't really build up well. You have to apply it and leave it at that.
So the Haus Labs foundation has absolutely become one of my all time favorites! I’m so glad you liked it!! I have dry skin and I’ll be 34 this year! It’s *lovely* I just finished a full bottle and I’m not trying another foundation out but I already miss the HL one 😹

The house labs foundation the white shade. I’m not sure if this is its purpose, but I’ve heard so many influencers recommend using that as a lightening like mixer to lighten the other shades of foundation that might be too dark like when not using tanner, or during winter months, and, I purchased it for that reason and it was worth every penny to do that because I feel like I get much more use out of all of my other foundations that might be my summer shade and not quite match me so I don’t reach for them, but having that mixer Oh my gosh it’s a game changer.😊
That would probably help me so much, being the lightest shade most of the time and sometimes in drugstore I need even lighter than lightest lol. Does it mix well with other foundations?

Just FYI y’all I bought the block star off Taylor’s rec last summer and it turns out it has lavender oil in it. So it has a very strong lavender smell, and for me personally I found out I have a sensitivity to it and it made my eyes super itchy and swollen and I had to urgently wash it off my face while I was at work. No shade on you Taylor! Just want your audience to be aware in case any of them also are sensitive to lavender or hate the smell

Finally got to try the Haus labs today. I already love it, it’s lasted pretty well all day and the shade 050 is a great match for me. I need to keep trying it of course but I have dry skin and it looks so good this far. I agree with what someone else said, I also missed the FF videos for a while but I’m so happy you’ve been getting to live the nomad life, explore and focus on your physical and mental well-being! I love the Haus Labs foundation. I have already finished my first bottle and I refilled it when my L’Oreal serum foundation because I hate the dropper it comes with. I can add a drop o two of Nars soft matte to build coverage.
Okay you are on a roll with the recommendations I got the L’Oréal blurring primer and oh wow you are right amazing. I’m 40 and I’m so hesitant to try these things because I have done lines and big pores. Ahhh no pores with this primer on my nose! Thanks again for being so helpful big hugs from Canada 🇨🇦
Using the blockstar with the elf wow glow or supergoop as a sunscreen combo for combo skin is a LIFESAVER. The blockstar is amazing at blurring the t-zone and the elf is glowy in dry areas. 🤩
I have very dry skin and use the Haus Labs. I have to really moisturize prior and love it with the Glow Recipe niacinamide dew drops as a primer. Stays throughout the day and doesn't cling to dry patches.

Girl!!! How crazy... I iconic London is one of my favorite. So blurring never clings to dry spots. Great shade match for both winter and summer. That's the third one you have mentioned that didn't work for you but looked amazing on me. It's true!! Everyone's skin is different. Great video thanks for the update
I couldn’t wait to try the Haus Labs one. Really tried to like it when I got it. It was just ok. I couldn’t justify the price for how I felt about it, sadly, but i know SO MANY just RAVE about it. LOVE that NYX one!!! Just looked and all the ones still available are just darker tones. 😫😫 BOO
My absolute favorites are the haus labs (I have my end of summer shade 160 but not my winter shade) and the Iconic london in shade neutral fair which you can only buy online at Sephora not in stores. But holy cow, grails for my drier then the Sahara desert skin! It was really odd that the lightest shade in the Iconic london was too light for me, and I'm usually the lightest shade in most foundations since they don't know what fair skin means usually......fair skin apparently means orange tan lol. I would also say that Taylor and I have pretty similar skin tones and undertones. I disagree with her thoughts about it since it looks great on my dry skin. Definitely everyone's skin is different ^_^ I struggle bus really hard to find any foundation that doesn't look cakey and heavy on my skin and these two are winners for me personally.
Hi Taylor! Just got back from 10 day cruise. California to Mexican riviera. I used elf glow with it cosmetic glow every day. Under eye, it cosmetic concealer with maybellene under eye brightness. I am a dry/normal skin. I used hourglass cream bronzer/blush/highlight. I had complements every day. I love elf. I think it made a huge difference.
The elf woah glow gave me MAJOR cystic acne breakout. It absolutely was from this. I don't break out in cysts often anymore at all. I used this and within 24 hours had literally 10 painful cysts. Looked at the ingredients (shame I choose to check after) oxygen bismuth chloride is in this and a known acne causing ingredient. Just a heads up. If you are sensitive don't do it!!! It's been a nightmare for my skin to heal from it.

I just wanna know if it’s worth trying over the maybelline and wet n wild foundations I already know I love ✨ (and idk if you’ve ever tried wet n wild’s dewy primer in the white tube, but it’s so smoothing and glowy under foundation without being greasy/oily looking. I think you would really enjoy that one)
I have dry mature skin and the Haus Labs is one of my HG foundations! I do agree though that the glass bottle - while gorgeous - is useless for travel. I decant mine (and had to do that to my NARS when the pump broke) which is my solution to that. Love these reviews!
@@Jetsi79 My regular skin care about 20-30 mins before and only a bit of pore filling primer in the tzone. I also use my fingers and finish with a brush.
@@Jetsi79 100%. I'd say the one thing that i find is the best step in my skin care (dry, combo tzone, 51). is a facial oil as my last step. it really helps foundation application! I also love the ELF and the Naturium sunscreen, which act as a moisturizing primer with glow as well.

I am obsessed w the haus labs, makeup by mario, and ambient lighting foundation they are so good for mature dry skin
My absolute favorites are the haus labs (I have my end of summer shade 160 but not my winter shade) and the Iconic london in shade neutral fair which you can only buy online at Sephora not in stores. But holy cow, grails for my drier then the Sahara desert skin! It was really odd that the lightest shade in the Iconic london was too light for me, and I'm usually the lightest shade in most foundations since they don't know what fair skin means usually......fair skin apparently means orange tan lol. I would also say that Taylor and I have pretty similar skin tones and undertones. I disagree with her thoughts about it since it looks great on my dry skin. Definitely everyone's skin is different ^_^ I struggle bus really hard to find any foundation that doesn't look cakey and heavy on my skin and these two are winners for me personally.

Hi Taylor! Just got back from 10 day cruise. California to Mexican riviera. I used elf glow with it cosmetic glow every day. Under eye, it cosmetic concealer with maybellene under eye brightness. I am a dry/normal skin. I used hourglass cream bronzer/blush/highlight. I had complements every day. I love elf. I think it made a huge difference.

The elf woah glow gave me MAJOR cystic acne breakout. It absolutely was from this. I don't break out in cysts often anymore at all. I used this and within 24 hours had literally 10 painful cysts. Looked at the ingredients (shame I choose to check after) oxygen bismuth chloride is in this and a known acne causing ingredient. Just a heads up. If you are sensitive don't do it!!! It's been a nightmare for my skin to heal from it.

Please try the new Revlon Illuminance foundation ❤ it caught my attention on a sponsored post on Instagram and I was tempted to get it when I saw it at cvs but I haven’t seen any reviews yet. I just wanna know if it’s worth trying over the maybelline and wet n wild foundations I already know I love ✨ (and idk if you’ve ever tried wet n wild’s dewy primer in the white tube, but it’s so smoothing and glowy under foundation without being greasy/oily looking. I think you would really enjoy that one)

I have dry mature skin and the Haus Labs is one of my HG foundations! I do agree though that the glass bottle - while gorgeous - is useless for travel. I decant mine (and had to do that to my NARS when the pump broke) which is my solution to that.

What do you use under the foundation? (Serum, face oil, primer, etc)
@@Jetsi79 My regular skin care about 20-30 mins before and only a bit of pore filling primer in the tzone. I also use my fingers and finish with a brush.
@@winebratsf Thanks for sharing 🙌 44 here and I also have dry skin and I definitely need to prep my skin well before foundation.
@@Jetsi79 100%. I'd say the one thing that i find is the best step in my skin care (dry, combo tzone, 51). is a facial oil as my last step. it really helps foundation application! I also love the ELF and the Naturium sunscreen, which act as a moisturizing primer with glow as well.
