Don't think apps while updating will ever come to Windows. Would be cool to have a simple game or a bloody message assuring you that your PC will not suddenly freeze at 99% for an hour.

@@Aria_4real When installing Windows, it most likely isn't connected to the internet, so apps like Edge wouldn't work anyway. If updating however, the system needs to restart several times and so even if it was possible, wouldn't make any sense as *most* updates are extremely quick, and what use would you get in 2 mins of using a browser?
@Borux2327 it is, some linux systems can already install the updates in the background.You'll still be using the old 'snapshot ',then when you restart it'll boot into the new snapshot. If the new generation is faulty you can always boot into the last working snapshot.
@@lauriekimani wait this is better! I thought the things you could do when updating would be limited but judging by the way youre telling me this you can use the entire computer when its updating. The only concern i have is, does it lag?
@Borux2327 Nope, but this paradigm is quite new and not fully ready for everyday use.But that's also how chrome os handles updates.

I like the usage of WinGet to install packages/software during the initial Windows setup. I usually just copy, paste and run a winget script that I uave backed up, however, a visible GUI for it is an awesome idea.

In fact, this can only stay in a concept. Until Windows is successfully installed, the computer does not have a graphics card driver available to support such animations.
However, the video you made is very innovative and in line with my aesthetic ^-^

To solve this, couldn’t Windows come pre-installed with drivers and the installation out of the box or a prompt saying Install drivers thn restart, and get these effects

This is not impossible to do. The problem for modern windows OS is that it is always based on the old windows. More likely the XP or Vista, for compatibility reason.
The Cleanliness and Fluidity of your Uis are just fantastic.
This is just jaw dropping sir. Loving it! Only wishing MS would add in more of the Aero theme though. I am still missing the more glass feel option to toggle, man, so missing it. Great work!

Im learning to code, and once Im done, I need to make a custom windows installer that looks the same, and installs Windows with apps that make it look like this. That could be a fun challenge.
Edit: I would probably need to be in contact with the concept creator to get the assets, images, animations, ect

It looks awesome bro, but Microsoft should focus on all the stupid bugs first. What's the point of having a beautiful UI when the system is running like crap. It's like buying a broken exotic car just for looks. Microsoft has a lot to learn. And i'm saddened by the lack of user experience commitment. Anyway, this Utopia thing looks amazing!!!

Looks a lot like Linux OS
based on this concept i have downloaded windows 11 and is redoing the entire iso to fit this so far i got the usb booting setup and the setup after when you boot into the hard disk working the same as in the video. the transitions and everything working. i have started to do the main home screen. i got the taskbar the way it was in this video. and i hope that i can get this to work. i cant even count the amount of blue screens i had. and il be changeing that to the purple screen of death in code to fit the os. i do need sleep tho so il keep doing it tommorow. more updates soon if there will be any
edit: yes i am using the wallpaper he gave when you install the os
update: 85% done bios now purple. taskbar works just like in the video. redid settings with alot more features. moved into my own linux kernel changed so much stuff so its no longer windows. removed activation duo boot now supported. i have added a live mode just like linux os with a build in installer. but you can save files on the live mode and it will save. sound and bluetooth drivers dont work yet. wifi does. it does have native android support. with the play store installed. not the stupid amazon store on windows. you can install any android and linux app. one your in the desktop android and linux will already be booted. working on mac app support but i am not a great coder at all. im surprised i got this far. more updates soon

update time then: its about 45% done. i enabled Linux by default. that way you can run Linux too. I deleted all bloat apps windows comes with. used a custom bat file to split the processes to make it faster. can run native Linux. windows apps are fine. trying to make it so windows updates in the background. and then you can restart whenever you want without it doing it for you. all the file manager stuff is finished. same with taskbar, installer. heh. i even got it so you can boot into it to run the desktop on USB live. and install the os like you do in Linux mint or som. now im a arch Linux guy. but if this is done and i want to switch to it. il be using it as my main os. Linux cant run games you can run on windows with anti cheats. and the install will have Linux on by default. windows that can run Linux apps as well as windows. that's a deal. more updates soon. just dont let me forget@@voltzbohton2574

I studied UI and UX on my BA Degree in Technology, one think you forgot, the buttons, when you press them, it seems to not to apply any effect, imagine a user get stuck cause of network, they need to know they pressed one time, there is no visual impact on the shape of the body or the shadow on hover and disappear on click! Great job by the way

My review of "Windows Mojave" concept:
* The console-like moving dialogs is annoying. Most people hate this.
* Bogging down an install by letting users run apps (including MINECRAFT??!) makes little sense and wo0uld cause massive issues
* Where is te settings button in Edge?
* Need a "create a non-connected account (you can link it to a Microsoft account later)" during account creation
* All privacy options should be enabled by default
* File storage options needs to include: "Store files on this device and sync them to OneDrive", with a sub-dialog for setting up real-time and scheduled sync'
* What was that third-party software installation part? Is it supposed to use the Windows Store? If so it should display this right at the top.
* Where is the "All Programs" label underneath the pinned apps? I can see the first alphabetical section, "A", but that's incredibly vague. Also, scrollbars should be visible by default. Here's another idea: instead of giant headings for each letter in the start menu put them in a column to the left of the programs. That column could also include icons that denote things like whether a program is being installed, being uninstalled, no available for some reason (user rights, etc)
* How about some *words* by those unlabeled buttons, such as MENU??

I wish windows would give us a separate module (where devs like you can bring your concepts to life for us too)where we can apply custom skins and themes on basic windows theme or ui, by just changing UI elements not the functional part...
