I truly appreciate your channel here in America. It is professionally created and visually appealing. You depict a gentle person that loves detecting & appreciates finding artifacts. Thank you for sharing with us. Stay encouraged. Blessings.
SO nice to see green grasses, warm sunshine, open areas free of space. Just finished clearing out 1.5 meters of heavy wet snow. Cloudy gray skies. I can almost smell the green in your video. Thank you. Very nice, Happy Hunting Hans.
Good afternoon, Hans! Thanks for the wonderful video. For copper coins, mechanical cleaning with scrapers would be better. You should always leave a patina on the coins, that is, you cannot clean the coins to metal, because we lose part of the surface of the coin. You just need to remove the traces of earth and preserve the green patina on the coin, then store the copper coin in synthetic resin (Paraloid B-72) by making a 2% solution to acetone. Sincerely, Yaroslav
thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I only removed a bit of the earth on the coin and I didn't touch the patina. I would never remove patina. thank you anyways for the tips :)
Hans, you discover a medieval item that is 13 centuries old and say: “That’s a nice find.” Me, metal detecting the Western part of the United States find a 1961 penny and I do cartwheels for half an hour. It’s just not fair!!!!!!
Beautiful video and so many finds....I'm so glad you got some silver and the large copper coin, wow. Wonderful shots of the water and cute little red squirrel. You work so hard and it shows.....very nicely done. You should be very proud of your creations.... bestest and hugs, Anna
