If you watch this man backing up Clapton, Knopfler or many of the greats he's often the only player who knows ALL the cords to ALL the songs in a medley. The rest just tend to twiddle about before it's solo time. This guy is the real deal!

At the time I didn’t believe him, given the likes of Clapton on that stage- but damn... after seeing this video I guess he was right
His playing is simple. He takes three simple music ideas and three simple right hand manipulations along with three simple left hand ideas and does all nine simultaneously very fast. Simple!
@@johnkk7863 Not completely true. It's mostly plectrum but where he does the hammer on and chiming chords his right hand fingers come into play. I know this because I have the instructional dvd this comes from where Albert demonstrates how he uses this technique on this composition.
