- One of the great honors of Norm's life being able to bring the legendary Albert Lee to play at our store, for our first full band concert! This is part 1 of an hour and half show, which features 3 songs: "I'm Ready" "Two Step Too" and "Wheels". Albert has played for 5 years in Eric Clapton's band, 25 years with the Everly Brothers, and has played with George Harrison, and check out the Concert for George. He's the guitar player's guitar player, and why did we do this? We did this because we love you all. Enjoy, and watch out for more songs from the concert!

Saw him at Green Hotel in Kinross, Fife , Scotland. Took my disco chick girlfriend who had no idea who he was. She loved what he played and how he played commenting on his age. It was a small audience and we all went to the bar after. He sat down with his family and friends. Looked like his wife was in a wheelchair. One of the most influential guitarists in history was so understated and unassuming. We just left him in peace. Awesome.
Albert Lee.....Still awesome at 78yrs of age. Unbelievable! Quality performance 👏 Thank you to Albert for performing and to Norm for bringing this maestro musician to us all🙏👍❤

Albert playing and singing on a great version of Gram Parsons song “Wheels”. Doesn’t get any better than that. Hard to believe it was April 1967 when I first saw Albert playing live. At that time he was playing guitar with Chris Farlowe and the Thunderbirds.
Just read where Eric Clapton said Albert is the Greatest guitar player in the WORLD !!!! What a statement from
Clapton
actually said he "bows" to Albert. He is absolutely the kindest, soft spoken and humble man imaginable. Love him.

Just got done seeing these guys in Harrisonburg VA at a small venue . These guys are monsters at what they do . Please go see them if you get a chance . Also, they are wonderful human beings and they do a meet and greet after the show . Highly recommended!!!!!
I was at that show as well. The non-verbal/musical communication between the four musicians while playing was astounding. Similar to this video, I was amazed how much the younger, female audience members were singing & dancing to Albert's music with glee.
I have just come home after watching this absolute legend play a gig in Zurich. Totally gobsmacked. Almost 80 years old and full of energy.
Great players great band. Albert playing with cold hands,while a little subdued, subtly making a face about his playing, is still Hands Down, one of the Great Nashville guitar slingers. Great vocalist also!

I saw Albert last night at a tiny former chapel in Worcester UK playing to an audience of a couple of hundred. Brilliant show, 2 hours pretty much, and although a virtuoso guitarist he’s no slouch on keyboards either.

The great guitarist don't have their guitars screaming but like Albert Lee and Eric Clapton and others they pick at there guitars gliding their fingers across the fret board and frets. Great Great Legendary guitarist !!!
